The Blue Goose Saloon, Pittsburgh PA

We have stopped many times since the opening of the Blue Goose Saloon and have always left satisfied. The homemade soups are outstanding! Best burger’s around and the steaks are made to perfection!
The staff has always made us feel welcome which is why we keep coming back

We always take family and friends from out of town to the Blue Goose for dinner and they are never disappointed. Aside from the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, their food is delicious. You can't go wrong with the burgers or steaks but the chicken tenders are very different, not your standard nuggets. All of the sauces are specially made by the owner; definitely try the Brussels sprouts. Homemade soups made by owner Denise are really good. This is not your typical bar food restaurant, so relax and enjoy your meal; you may even get a chance to talk to one of the owners. I love it when they come out and talk to customers. Ask them about their parents and the story of how the name of the restaurant was established.

Don’t get the hype. We went because of the great reviews, so I expected some good food…. It was okay. Paid 5.99 for them to add cubbed chicken to my pasta. Maybe the bar is better.

A small yet comfy bar and restaurant.with fantastic. They have good prices and great local music!

We ordered here several times during covid and im mad it took us this long to show up in person. Take out was always very good but eat in was even better. Shaler residents should all be supporting this place. The owner clearly cares and stands behind everything that comes out of his kitchen. He and his waitstaff are all very friendly and personable. That parking lot should be packed every night. Highly recommend.

Our local dive that we love! Food is delicious and always fresh. Every person that works there is amazing (shout out to JLinn, Shay, Dave, Benze and everyone in the kitchen!). Chicken tenders, fried pickles and their burgers are just a few of our favorites - oh and I can't forget the delicious steaks!

Very nice experience here. I ordered cheese tortellini w/ pink vodka sauce and shrimp. Also a cup of wedding soup.everything was delicious. Service was very accommodating and friendly.

Very nice restaurant with very kind staff! My food was delicious! Hot and fresh! Prices are a little high for burger type food but I understand why! BGS is still a good spot! Definitely my new #1 place to grab a bite from a local mom & pop business!

The food is excellent, generous portions and the staff is super friendly. It’s so nice to have a place in our area be so successful and be done so well. Drink specials are spectacular too!

Well for the most part it was definitely delicious food nice and hot, service was great considering we was press for time no fault to the server he was very understanding of our time constraints so he pushed out food and it was still good we just didn't have time to enjoy all of it. But we will definitely be back with no rush but here.

What an amazing place. The second we walked in the door we were made to feel like we were old friends. Such a comfortable atmosphere.
The food was very well prepared and absolutely outstanding.
We have definitely found a new favorite place to go.

Great little place to eat. Had pork chops. They were really good. The mashed potatoes though were kind of runny and the Tater tots were freezer burned though.

Clean, friendly staff & most importantly oh so tasty food!
I had filet (steak) & hubby had burger + a shared appetizer since we had no idea of portion size. Let me tell you, it was enough & then some.
