The Brafferton Inn, Gettysburg PA

We cannot say enough about this BNB. From the minute we walked up to the door we were greeted by the most pure hearted, welcoming, and bubbly lady. She gave us a tour of the BNB and a little history behind it. We were introduced to her husband Brian who matches Amy's personality. Throughout our ENTIRE stay everything was phenominal. And the breakfasts in the morning are just as amazing! I will recommend this Inn over all others!

We just loved our stay! So relaxing and comfortable. Brian, his wife and all the staff were so helpful and pleasant. We stayed two days in Tillie's Room and purchased the History Package (best bang for buck!) What an experience. And because it was right downtown we walked every where. Breakfasts were delicious!

We loved our stay at The Brafferton Inn. The Inn is so well run and efficient. The breakfast is wonderful. The Inn is centrally located and near the town square. The furnishings are beautifully done.

I can't say enough good things about this place, the host are amazing, the food was outstanding and it was the perfect location for visiting Gettysburg. With parking being so hard in this city, the fact that they have their own parking lot is a wonderful plus.

We had such a wonderful, wonderful time. Our only regret was not staying a day or two longer to enjoy more of the inn and the town. We stayed in the Lincoln Suite, which was wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic and the innkeepers friendly and responsive. We hope to be back again!

We stayed three nights in the Battle room, it was a truly wonderful stay we had... But no fights.
The room was beautiful, as was the service! The breakfasts were delicious! Our hosts were on point, all the time, as was the staff. The location is perfect, such a beautiful and stunningly historic downtown... WOW!

We stayed in the Pear Tree room. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The separate entrance, parking space and fenced patio made it feel like we were staying in a private cottage. The breakfast is outstanding! They bake a fresh pastry/muffin everyday and serve a choice of 4 entrees. We will definitely return!

A wonderful experience. The Inn is charming and tastefully decorated. My room, The Olde Master Bedroom, was comfortable and cozy. The bed was fantastic! Breakfast was delicious (try the Charleston!) and I was able to eat on the back deck looking over their beautiful garden. The Owners and staff were friendly and courteous. I will definitely be staying here the next time I visit Gettysburg.

My daughter and I chose the Brafferton Inn for our weekend getaway, and it was perfect! From the moment you walk through the front door you feel like you have stepped back in time. The Inn is warm and inviting. The owners Brian and AmyBeth are so kind and thoughtful. You can tell that they love what they do and work hard to make your stay memorable. They have thought of everything! Even down to the tiny meringue cookies that were waiting in the entry way as you walked in!

We stayed in the Brafferton Suite. AmeBeth showed us to our room and gave us a little history about the building and room. So much history, both exciting and interesting. Our room was beautiful! It faced the street, in a separate building up one flight of stairs. It was private, comfortable and charming. A King size bed in the main room and a pull-out sofa bed in a small sitting room area separated by doors for privacy worked well for our needs. A beautifully decorated fireplace could be enjoyed from the bedroom as well as the sitting area. The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub and in a separate area a shower, toilet and vanity. It also had a small back porch sitting area that is shared with the room next door. A small fridge, microwave and Keurig were added bonuses to the room as well.

Breakfast was amazing! Again, the details were endless from the table settings to the dining area itself! We were able to reserve a breakfast time that worked for our schedule and had the choice of dining in or dining out on the back porch in the garden area. We enjoyed a cup of coffee sitting in the garden area talking and taking in the quiet of the morning surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants to start our day. Breakfast was made with all wonderful and fresh ingredients! From the flaky cheese danish with raspberry jam and fresh fruit to the Charleston breakfast casserole and french toast, it was all DELICIOUS!

Although you are right in the heart of town when you walk through the door at the Brafferton Inn you feel an instant quiet and calm. We will plan our stay again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Gettysburg.

Brian and his staff are simply amazing. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The breakfast is nothing short of amazing. Our room was roomy, comfortable and sparkling clean. The inn is simply perfect and we can't wait to return.

Thank you for a wonderful experience for my parents! You gave them excellent care by meeting their every need. My Mother in particular has some physical challenges but you made it work, not once making the situation ackward in anyway. If you visit Gettysburg, I highly recommend this inn! Breakfast was delicious and savory. It was so convenient being right downtown. The room was extremely clean, had an excellent, restful night’s sleep, and enjoyed every minute.

The rooms are beautifully decorated as are the grounds. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I always felt they had time to talk and they never rushed away from a conversation. The breakfasts were extraordinary; creative, delicious, and fresh. I can't imagine a better place to stay when in the Gettysburg area.

I recently stayed here with my mom during a weekend getaway. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay. Parking was close and convenient. Breakfast was simply delicious, as well as our room was comfortable and clean. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be staying here anytime I come into town.
