The Brickyard Restaurant & Ale House reviews
19Drinks are good, can get a little bit busy on the weekends and during the holidays. The food isn’t anything to write home about.
Confusing and difficult to find. Not marked on the street. Chicken pot pie was excellent. Boneless ribs were not, overcooked and chewed like I was eating leather. Atmosphere is cool. Waitstaff was nice. Beer was cold.
Tried a couple new beers.the sour one and the pineapple one. Don't ask me what they're called, but both were very tasty. Atmosphere was okay. It wasn't very late, and they were nonstop cleaning behind us, which was uncomfortable but whatever.
My husband made us reservations online and we traveled to Williamsport to have dinner together since he “Popped the Question” (we literally JUST got engaged before heading down!) and wanted a nice place to celebrate our engagement! 1st They “lost” our reservation so we got seated outside after waiting a little while for a table to open up. While waiting it was so packed people kept bumping into us! Outside was the same way and no matter if u were outside or inside it was extremely loud. I got the pot pie? And it wasn’t cooked the whole way and very runny an cold and the waitress wouldn’t do anything about it…. I won’t go back……….
Food was great (got the bbq pulled pork sandwhich). Was messy but good. We had a big group n stayed for over an hour enjoying the food, atmosphere, and kind service.
TLDR: Food was very good. Great selection of beer on tap. Service was quick and excellent.
I had the soft pretzel rods with beer cheese and stone ground mustard dips as an appetizer. Really enjoyed the pretzel appetizer. For dinner we both had cheesesteak tacos and tater tots. Very tasty and the jalapeno sauce gave it a nice little kick without being overpowering to the food. Tater tots had a nice crisp on the outside with the right amount of mush in the center. For dessert we had a brownie and a Christmas cookie cheesecake. I would rate the food as 4.5 but the service pushes it to a 5 star overall.
We just had the Best time at the Brickyard. Our server Alexis Carey took excellent care of us. The jalapeño poppers the best I’ve ever had we all had different entrées Delicious you have to try it.
Been coming here for years. Plenty of food and drink options and the atmosphere is unrivaled in Williamsport. Offers outdoor seating during warmer months.
Terrible srevice! Waited over an hour for meal. Waitress never put order in and then had to rush to get done. Food absolutely sucked! Won't see me spend money at that place again!
The service was fantastic. Hunter greeted us with the biggest smile and made everyone in our party feel as though we were family. The menu was packed with a wide variety of foods a large drink selection and a quaint atmosphere to just enjoy being around friends and socializing putting the phones down for once. Highly recommended if you're in Williamsport Pennsylvania.
We found ourselves here after being unable to get a table in a few other restaurants on a Friday night. We ordered: the Chuck burger, salmon BLT and beer from the tap (Yuengling, I believe). Nothing was bad but nothing stood out, either. This ended up being a "we're hungry and it's food" kind of meal, rather than something we really enjoyed and/or would try again.
Great service, The food was prepared very quickly and to our liking. They have a nice selection of handcrafted beers. Top it off with my good company.it was an awesome outing!
Drink specials were great, the highball drifter ale was AMAZING and the food and service are always THE BEST! Thanks Luke!
First time visiting this restaurant. Amazing foods. Waiter Luke was very good, nice and attentive. Would definitely go back again.
Love the soft pretzels! Buffalo chicken wrap was good as well. Tried the sour apple beer but the keg kicked. What I was able to taste was good. We'll be back.
Visited the Brickyard Restaurant on first Friday. First of all the location is great right off the beautifully decorated alley with outdoor dining and live music just around the corner. We ate inside this gorgeous wood finished bar and tables that matched 8. Food was delicious. And best Sangria ever.
My 1st time in Williamsport came in from New Jersey to see Ani Difranco after the show I was hoping to find some bar open, but apparently Thursday night some bars are closed I stumbled across the Brickyard and was pleasantly surprised to feel comfortable sitting there alone on the patio having a delicious pint. The bartender was very cute and very nice.didn't get his name but he has Brown hair super cool this is a great place I will definitely be visiting when I come back to Williamsport
The Brickyard has a nice patio and atmosphere. It seems like a good place to come for beers and get some fried food, but it didn't really hit the mark for us during today's lunch. We found it acceptable but not awesome.
The food was alright- my salmon BLT was slightly above average, although the salmon filet was a bit too tall and narrow to properly fill the bread it was placed upon and resulted in questionable sandwich-tectonics. My girlfriend had the Korean chicken tacos and found that the included slaw made the taco too cold to be pleasant. However, the tots that it came with were good.
As for drinks, we originally planned on getting non-alcoholic drinks and ordered a ginger ale and unsweetened ice tea. The ginger ale had an unusual brown foam/particulate on the top, which my girlfriend found off-putting. My ice tea had an unusual, yet mild flavor that I couldn't place and didn't really enjoy. It almost tasted like another dark variety of tea that had been extremely watered down. We replaced these drinks with water and a draft beer and both were much better.
The service was generally pleasant but a little absent. The host was very friendly when greeting us, and our waitress was nice but didn't wear her mask over her nose and didn't check on us frequently enough to discover that we didn't like our original drinks for quite a while.
All things considered, since we didn't love our food and were put off by the iced tea and ginger ale, we thought the cost of the meal exceeded the enjoyment we got from it.
That all said, if you're looking for beers and fried food on a patio in downtown Williamsport, than this place is probably right for you.
Just stopped in here while in Williamsport and had a good experience. I didn’t eat here, but came in for a couple of drinks. It’s one of those places if you sign up for a membership you get a mug each time you come in. The bartenders were super chill and down to earth. Drinks were never empty. It was a perfect set up for a sports bar and they had a really nice outdoor seating area.
