The Coney Island, Pottsville PA

This place reminds me of home cooking. Looks sloppy and tastes great! The food has always been great! Chilli is on par!

Sat out on the patio. The bartender made great slushy drinks, but she was not very personable. In the hospitality industry, being nice and a smile goes a long way. I know I would have tipped more if she was nicer. It was very clean and inviting to drink on the patio. Definitely recommend this establishment.

Service unlike most reviews was great. Food was in a timely manner. The had a lot to be desired. My burger was cold, tasteless. Husband's chili on his hotdog was cold. And the hotdogs were not very warm either.

The food was great for the price. The service wasn't the best. They weren't the friendliest and we had to repeat our orders a few times. Our orders came out wrong, but what we got was still delicious.

Tried this place for the first time today. Very good customer service and the food was so good

It’s a throw back place with amazing chili and cheese dogs, hamburgers, and shakes. The peanut butter milk shake is food orgasm worthy

TLDR: If I'm in the area again I will definitely eat here again. Also if you love hot dogs you're going to love the Coney Island. Finally I was meeting with the picture but notice a place clean because food's good.

Rustic would be the name I would give this place. It's obvious that this location has some years behind it. Food though is excellent. I stuck mostly to their hot dogs as their burgers are cooked with onions and I'm allergic onions. They do have a fantastic looking bar area, but that area is not smoke free so I did not partake. Have someone's unique and delicious chili on their hot dogs and again everything I tried was tasty, made fast and satisfying.
Staff for efficient but since I'm not a regular I really didn't get quite a friendly feeling. Nobody was outright rude but I definitely felt rushed the whole time I was there.

I stopped in for a couple of dogs. They were good, pretty much what you would expect from a well established hot dog joint.
The bar side looked nice, there was supposed to be live local music tonight. I will come back with all my buddies as there is plenty of parking for alot of motorcycles.

Good food too many women. Scared of employees. Too many crackwhores not enough crack daddys! Other than that good service

Very disappointed! Go here to be able to sit outside because of the nice weather. We get there and the bartender asked everyone if everyone had IDs and my 14 year old niece was with us. We were then told that no one under 21 is allowed to sit outside after 6pm. That's the most ridiculous rule I've heard!

Had a hot (cold) dog.bun was cold (like the service), wiener was barely warm. That's all there was.better off going to a C-store.

Love the food here. Absolutely love the chili sauce. You can definitely tell its made in house. Mac n cheese not so great. The gigantic pretzel is definitely worth the price.

Food used to be greater than it was. I don’t know if the workers are just lazy but they got to actually enjoy making food for the people. I did order a couple of times this week there and they gave me something different than what I asked for. THAT IS NOT OKAY! Lucky I got the patience or else I’d go in there and criticize the cook every time they get my order wrong. CORRECT YOURSELVES. It is pretty disrespectful paying for something you didn’t order.

Too much talking not enough making people orders. The girls talk to much and take to long to make people orders people were leaving I just wanted three burgers it took almost 30 minutes customers had huge orders 20 hot dog 20 burgers then another had order for 15 they should have a sign to call ahead for large orders, other then that great food nice place.

Not much to say about Coney Island.every once n awhile ya just have to stop for a good burger and sit in the parking lot with the windows open I feel like it's good for the soul. (maybe not your heart.but definitely your soul lol)
