I’ve lived in the co.space for the last year and I am staying another semester! I’ve loved living in the house! It’s awesome to be able to live with such energetic and passionate people. The house has a beautiful kitchen and great front porch. Location is awesome! Can’t recommend the co.space more!

Do you want to build a vertical greenhouse, go rock-climbing in a hallway, have meaningful conversation with friends until 3: 00 in the morning, and have a family dinner on the weekends with your tribe-those that want more from life than just the average college experience? With the co.space, this is all possible and so much more! As an alumni, I can honestly say that this home brings experiences and relationships to the table that will last long after graduation.

Through the co.space I found incredible friends that became business partners throughout my grad school years. I had a roommate that was unbelievably supportive through one of the most challenging times of my life. I also got to spend time with a very friendly dog named Bodi that loved my cooking and liked to go on long walks through the woods. The co.space was even what lead to a trip to Mexico where I would meet my wife-yes it doesn't sound real, but is-which is exactly the point!

This place is an absolute gem in the Penn State and State College environment and I can't recommend it enough! Send an application in and be part of something great!

The Co. Space is a home away from home. Spud and Christian (owners of the home) are incredible members in the community and really exercise all they are trying to encourage the tenants to learn through the actions and things that they do. Alongside that, the members within the home are from all different walks of life that really helped me grow as a person. I will never forget my time in the Co, and i am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to meet so many incredible people by living here.

Living at the co.space was the best decision I made during my time at Penn State. The retreats are invaluable experiences where I learned so much about myself, my goals and my priorities. I formed lifelong friendships while at the house and took advantage of the many opportunities the co.space ecosystem provides to make connections and grow on both a personal and professional basis. Plus, I was able to build a podcast studio in the basement to explore and nurture my growing passion for podcasting. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to find themselves and their community to live at the co.

I lived at the co.space for just a year, but I made some life long friends-many of whom I'm still close to today.

Loved my time at the co.space! I met some of my closest friends here. The space made me feel right at home, while giving me the tools I needed to continue developing personally and professionally.

I spent the best US summers at the co.space! Hailing all the way from South Africa for a three-month research visit at Penn State University, knowing only my co-advisor (who btw recommended the place!) I was both excited and nervous as I didn't know how well my presence would be received. I immediately felt at home at the co.space. My then housemates made me feel welcomed, and just by luck or divine intervention, I arrived on Sunday - a day when all housemates gather for dinner in the evening cooked by fellow co.spacers. The summer team-building camp weekend was awesome too! I got to know my roommate as we shared a room at the campsite too To this day, I'm still implementing some of the lessons I learned from the activities we did on that weekend. The best part of the team building weekend was when we set around a camp fire and had s'mores! A first and memorable time for me. The co.space is a place for change-makers; these are not just words but ethos co.spacers live by. So, joining this movement - I call it that because of the transformative impact staying at the co.space has had in my life - is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself. And the friendships forged in that space lasts a lifetime. You'll always BE the co.space alum!

Do you want life-long friends from all over the world? Do you enjoy home-cooked meals twice a week (almost) as good as Abuelita would make? Do you want to be invited to numerous weddings in the future that also double as co.space reunions? Is community as important to you as it is to Leslie Knope?

If you’ve answered YES to all of the questions above than what are you waiting for? Check out the co.space!

I lived here my Junior year of college and decided to return as a young professional a year later. Co-living taught me so much about myself and so much more on how to be a team player in a professional work setting. If you enjoy trying new things and challenging yourself, I highly recommend either living or visiting the co.space.

The co.space really helped me connect with the greater State College community and introduced me to some really amazing people that have pushed me to do things that I'd never thought I'd do. I cannot recommend it enough.

My daughter lived here for a year and I couldn't be happier with her experience. She learned more about herself and the value of community. She also ate great food and made life-long friends!

While I only lived here for one semester as a “young professional, ” it was one of the best decisions I made while I lived, worked, and studied in State College. Remarkable community, amazing home, phenomenal people. Spud and Christian have built something incredible at the co.space and if you have the chance to live here for a day or for a year, you should absolutely take it.

I absolutely loved living in this home, such a memorable part of my college experience. Still in contact with many people I met there, 6 years later.

My time at the co.space was life-changing. I was a part of the first cohort and the people I lived with are some of my closest friends to this day, 5 years after living there. Cannot recommend enough!

The co.space is more than a home. It is a place where you will meet some life-long friends and experience what it truly means to be a community. My favorite part of living in the house were the retreats and guest dinners. During the retreats you grow as a community of co.spacers, but you also get to assess your personal values and set goals for the year. During guest dinners you get to connect to the State College community at large. I cannot recommend the co.space enough! You will smile, laugh, groan, and grow in this amazing space!

Had a blast being a member of this co-living community during my senior year at Penn State! From house dinners, retreats, and other activities, I was fortunate to have met the awesome folks I called housemates:)

Objectively the best place to live at Penn State. This isn’t just awesome, comfortable, creative and unique housing, co.space is also a community of people that are motivated and driven to make change happen. If you really are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with, the co.space is the place to be.
