Great experience all around nice vibe busy but not too crowded. Well, prepared tasteful food.

I went with a group of five people, honestly it wasn't a big deal. First of all the place is fine and very decent but the food was not the great wonder, second, the place was technically empty at the time of our arrival and they made us wait an hour for our food. Also the waitress service was good but not exceptional. It was Mother's Day and there was no variety on the menu. It wasn't bad but in my opinion I was not impressed and if possible I would not return. Your welcome.

Service behind with your server. She was spectacular. Our appetizer didn't get devoured because our entree came too quickly. Timing needs improvement. Paid for something we didn't get to eat

We were waiting a half hour for breakfast, and in the end, we found out the machine to make omletes is out of service. Yay! Within the half hour of waiting for ordered food, the waitress did not show much interest that our coffee cups may need to be refilled, did not ask if everything is ok and, most importantly, notify us that our order cannot be fulfilled on timely manner. After a half hour of waiting, we left hungry. Besides, our table was sticky, there was not enough sugar on the table for two people, and the waitress had an unpleasant attitude. Hope this feedback will help improve your services because this is a very nice place with a five-star view.

I was here at an engagement party over the weekend. This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. There were so many issues from start to finish that I don't even want to write them all.

We were there for about 45 minutes before the server came to get us drinks. She never carded, or asked anybody for I. D.for alcoholic drinks. A couple of of the people in our party were under 21 that she was asking if they wanted an alcoholic beverage.

The food was below average. I can't recall anybody that really enjoyed any part of their 3 course meal. Mine in particular, was burnt. Which by the way they still tried to charge me $19 after sending it back because the head chef said, "I still needed to be charged". I had to argue with the waiter, because the head chef never came out to talk to any of the disgruntled customers. I'm not paying for a dish that's literally burnt. I also don't even understand how you burn Gnocchi.

Not to mention the waitress was lying, and saying the gratuity charge on each of the separate checks wasn't her tip, when infact it was.

Maybe there normal menu is better, but after this experience I would really suggest just finding another place.

Had my sisters baby shower here. It was AMAZING the back room is beautiful and the staff was super nice and helpful. Would definitely have another event here. Parking is a mother though…

Meals were cost much more than their worth. Went there specifically for one meal I saw on their menu online, just to see their very limited menu and they didn’t have the item I was looking to get. Got an item that had a topping on that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Couldn’t eat it, the side was mostly burnt and barley ate any of that. You would think if a server notices you didn’t eat much of your meal they would ask if something was wrong, but that didn’t happen. Service was also slow when the restaurant was not busy at all. I would NOT recommend.

Late night meal. Limited entree options but enough selection not to be overwhelmed by too many menu choices. I had the crab cake with a very tasty vegetable succotash side. Excellent choice. The view from the window shows what coming up at the attached PPL Center that is attached. Monster trucks were in the Center the night I was there. Also the hotel I was staying at was attached, so I didn't have to go outside to go to dinner.

Really nice location and food was very good. The atmosphere is fantastic and they really put in a lot of work. The barrels and the wine bottles on the wall look very cool.
Sadly, the service was not so great. Our server was speaking very soft and I did not understand her at all. But overall a good experience.

I drove 1 hour to get to The Dime in Allentown, PA as my wife and I enjoy experiencing different dining venues and foods. I called to make a reservation but was put on hold as soon as they picked up the phone. I waited for a good 10 minutes before hanging up and just walked in after finding parking. When I arrived there at around 5pm there was a pretty good crowd in the bar area with a live DJ, Lights and all. I was looking forward for their happy hour drinks before sitting and dining. Unfortunately they told me and my wife that there was a private event at the bar area and only the restaurant menu was available. I asked if we can still order drinks from the bar for happy hour (4p-6pm) I was told we were unable to order from the bar (happy hour cocktails). So we settled for an early dinner and restaurant cocktail menu which didn’t give much options. The vibe was industrial decor and pleasant views from the third floor but nothing to really brag about. Our server “Stacy” was welcoming and friendly plus attentive and hospitable. The food was okay, served large portions and sharable. Drinks were good but nothing wow in my opinion. Not somewhere I would return or even recommend unless you are staying at the attached Renaissance Hotel or going to an event at the PPL Arena. I would not go out of my way again for this place especially since I didn’t feel accommodated for drinks at the bar and felt forced to dine upon arrival. It’s all about how the place makes me feel in my opinion and this place wasn’t a dime for me, no pun intended.

With a great bourbon list, personable service ready to go the extra mile, and a chef willing to bring interesting flavors to the menu, The Dime is a great place to leave your pretense and expectations behind. Here, you just want to sit back and enjoy. The carefully curated wine and bourbon selections make for an upscale feel in this Allentown restaurant.

The incredible Brussel sprouts had a Korean fusion taste to them and is a must-order. I enjoyed the NY strip steak, made to perfection. I’ve eaten here a few times and the service has been a bit on the slower side in the past, but I’ve noticed an improvement. The food is fresh and I definitely look forward to more meals here. The price is a bit high and the portions are very large; given this is in a hotel, it may be worth them lowering the price for some of the sides by offering individual portions—I hate wasting the food in getting too full.

Fantastic food and drinks. One of the best restaurants in the area. Comparable to NYC restaurants. We went for Valentines Day. Price fixed menu was so good. Innovative dishes: parsnip gnocchi, ginger and sweet potato purée. Chocolate covered strawberries to finish it all off. The coolest thing was the history and why it’s called the dime. See the pic.

My daughter and I had lunch here on Valentine's Day. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere and amazing food and drinks. We will definitely be back!

We visited the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was Marah, and she was amazing! Attention to details, warm welcome, upselling, we definitely come back! And thanks to Atia, the manager and Steven for making this reservation happen with all our preferences. Great job!
