The ENT Center reviews
18After having a cheap qtip fall apart inside my ear, Dr Dorf gently slid out out within 10 seconds! Not our first time there and definitely not our last.
Awesome service, great team! The nurses are very attentive and kind, responsible doctor! It was nice to be there!
I had swim earmolds made. In less than a month they tore. They replaced them under warranty. But less than six months later they both tore again. Not under warranty. Went $100 for new ones. Don't waste your money. They don't last.
I called the Lancaster office with a referral for an appointment as a new patient on Nov. 15,2022. I was assigned an appointment on Dec. 15,2022, one month later. Since I needed medical attention sooner, I asked the office to put me on a waiting list. The office obliged and put me on a waiting list to call me if another patient cancelled. I never got a call back within that month. In the meantime, I was able to schedule for an earlier appointment at another practice.
On Dec. 14, a day before the scheduled appointment, I called the office and left a voice message that I was cancelling my appointment on Dec. 15. I never got a call back confirming cancellation. 3 weeks later, I received a $50 invoice for a "no show new patient". If the office was booked up a month in advance (common place these days with specialist offices), it should not be invoicing for no shows when a new patient cancels a first appointment. Even if I did not leave a voice message to cancel, I was never informed of a $50 "no show" fee; therefore, I should not be obligated to pay a "no show" invoice.
In this case, the office manager needs to get his/her act together in handling new patient appointments. With such frivolous invoice, the office manager lost a new patient for good.
It’s been almost 3 months of leaving voicemails to discuss a bill in the mail. I waited over a month for a 5 minute appointment that then proceeded to cost me three hundred dollars. The office then proceeds to send it to collections incorrectly even though the bill was paid online weeks before to prevent further charges…. So thanks for that. I’m not sure this place actually does work, seems they just charge new patients fees to keep the doors open. 5 minutes to be told to basically get over it.
Great staff, I have had several appointments here. Everyone of them has been a good experience.
Doctor was uninterested, endoscopy was a scam.
I came in to address some pressure in my head & neck. Dr. Acosta quickly concluded that I had ‘migraines’ but had no interest in trying to identify the underlying issue. I tried to point him to the palpable pockets of fluid but he made no attempt to inspect the areas and simply responded that I "don’t have sinuses there". The visit took about 15 minutes and cost $313, which was a bummer for my experience, but it is what it is. The part that I can’t swallow, however, is that in order to have him look into my nose (which seems like it would be included in an ENT appt?) I had to sign a form stating that I would pay whatever amount they decided to charge (a blank check). I did because my issues had persisted for a long time and it seemed crazy to leave without the doctor taking a look. It took 1 minute for both nostrils and there were no issues. They charged me an additional $375 for it. An outright scam. I tried to rectify it with them but they would not budge, citing the blank check agreement.
Thank you to tami shea and all the staff for your help and the loaners after my puppy "ate" my devices
Im be late 15 min at my appointment, but front desk lady is so nice with me (I'm sorry that I not remember nice lady name. All nurse included doctor D.is nice, professional that makes me feel good and relaxed about my health problems. Thank you ️
I had a very wonderful experience here got me in didn't wait around a long time the appointment was quick and easy as opposed to Long and stressful
Worst experience ever, I can't believe that unprofessional, unorganized attitude in clinic.
My wife has had ear problems for years. The professionals at ENT center have helped her immensely!
Very unhappy with my “results”, went in for a deviated septum and LEFT with a deviated septum. The only thing I “gained” from my surgery was a huge sensitive scar on my septum and a sore nose even 3 months later. Waste of time and pain. If I knew I would’ve still had a deviated septum after a septoplasty I never would of had it.
Of all the places I've visited over the year's. This is by far my favorite. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for help with hearing difficulties.
Dr. Dorf is genuinely interested in the wellness of his patients. He went above and beyond my expectations for my plan of care. I would recommend him to anyone.
If I could give zero stars I would. I went here with a referral from my Dr due to a lump on the right side of my neck under my jaw. I had an ultrasound done from my PCP that showed Sialadenitis in my Submandibular gland. So when I went in I explained all of this to the nurse. Dr. Dorf came in and didn't even feel my gland and just looked in my throat said I had Reflux and gave me a brochure. When I asked him about my lump (the MAIN reason for being there) he shrugged it off and said it was just a swollen gland and would go away.almost making me feel dumb for even being there.he didn't ask me ANY questions about symptoms, pain I was having, no questions about the ultrasound, ect. Three days later I was eating dinner and the lump got super painful and grew even larger, about a golf ball size sticking out. I went to the ER. They did a CT scan with contrast and found a 3mm salivary gland stone and an infection is brewing. So the ENT was absolutely NO help at all. Clearly not a trust worthy place.
I came to the ENT center for migraines, they got me in so quickly! The providers that i saw were so knowledgeable and understanding, they really listened to my problems and got my migraines under control.i have been to many doctors and nobody has taken such good care of me and actually took the time to understand and get control of my issues! If you want to be in good hand go to the ent center in lancaster and they will be there for you every step of the way!
The doctor I had was very friendly and professional. He spoke to me like a human being which was quite refreshing considering some other experiences I have had in other medical settings. The whole process ran smoothly. All the staff I dealt with handled their tasks efficiently. I was in and out of there in no time. Highly recommend.
