The Eye Center of Central PA – Williamsport

The receptionists and technicians were great! Very professional and friendly. Dt Hartzell was very professional and knowledgeable about my condition. I would highly recommend this place.

Was a new patient…had a terrible experience this morning and will definitely not be back. Staff was running behind and while frustrating was not the end of the world. When they finally took me back the machines were all covered in make up, eye lashes, and who knows what else. The tech was beyond rude, and was openly complaining the entire appointment about other coworkers, equipment, and technology.

If I were able to give a "no" star review, that would be more indicative of the service I have not received from the optical department. I ordered two pairs of eyeglasses on March 3 - paying a total of $600 after insurance. I received the sunglasses one week later and told at that time that the other glasses should arrive within another week and a half. Checking March 31, I was told they had not arrived (after a ridiculous amount of time spent searching for them) and after checking, they were "in process". I went on vacation and returned, checking in on April 25. Again - the "search was on" and still no glasses. At this time, it appears they were not even in the system. I told them that I just wanted my money refunded and to have a supervisor call me, and was assured this would happen within a day or so. Went directly to Walmart and ordered glasses. I just received notice from Walmart that they are in (4 days later). The lack of customer service at The Eye Center Optical Department is ridiculous. I will be taking them to small claims court to recover my money.

The optical center in the Williamsport office is very disappointing. They don't return calls and when you ask to speak to a manager they don't even call you. You really need to work on your people skills and RETURN CALLS! We are all important and deserve service too!

By far the rudest and snarkiest unprofessional staff. Never met a bunch of women who hate their jobs more and enjoy taking it out on the patients. Go to lewisburg.

Friendly staff, but the wait times are terrible! I got here fifteen minutes early for my 3: 30 appointment. It's now 4: 30 and I'm still waiting to see the doctor for a routine eye exam. It's been the same way every time I've been here. I'm starting to question whether or not they are worth the wait when there are other local options available.

Update: I received a bill in the mail today from this appointment and they charged me an extra $70 for a contact lens fitting" that never happened; I don't even wear contacts.

Would not recommend!

My Optician is great 5 stars to him. The optical department is terrible have been waiting 5 weeks for contacts I have call and left messages several times no return calls. I called the company that make my contacts and was told they were sent out and delivered and signed for 3 days ago I still haven't got call from the eye center. Its sad they are in the business to help people see and you get this and you get this terrible service. I called today spoke with a person they tried to contact the manager of the optical dept no answer I an now waiting for a return call again.
