The Fence, Milton PA

This place has fantastic fish sandwiches and chocolate milkshakes. The scenery is fantastic, a beautiful view of the mighty Susquehanna river. The staff are very friendly. You will need to make sure you have cash. You can either eat in your car or at one of their many picnic tables. Definitely a good place to go.

Heard about Fencr Drive in from Ch. 16 Home & Back Yard today. Had to try it. Food good, just wish it was hotter. I don't send food back due to an abundance of caution. It was 80 miles from home, but had to try it. Service by Mel was excellent. Would go again. Best of luck. Very busy.

The staff is always friendly and the service fast. The food, as usual, was amazing. We always go for fish sandwiches and they remind me of being a kid. The scenery can't be beat either. A favorite!

My family has been coming here for a couple of years! Food is always hot, service is friendly and quick! Disappounted when they close for the season but always look forward to when they open again!

Beautiful scenery on the riverbank. You can choose to be waited on in your car, one of the picnic tables just up from the riverbank or air conditioning inside. Very friendly service. Great pricing and the food came quickly despite the many families there. Do not miss this gem!

They have fantastic food, especially if you’re into fish sandwiches. You can either eat in your car where they bring your and hook the tray to your window (you have to turn your headlights on for service). Or you can sit at one of their many picnic tables. They have a small but fantastic menu and their chocolate shakes are really good. The servers come to your table with a smile. They take cash only and the servers have to know their math to give change. You get a fantastic view on one side of the mountains and on the other is the mighty Susquehanna River.

It’s definitely a must go if you’re a local or in town visiting. Most people won’t be disappointed. Go and enjoy.

The Fence is a lovely restaurant sitting right on the river. The views are absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious and the staff are just some of the most friendly people. I recommend going anytime, but if it's a nice day stop in and grab a seat at one of the picnic tables and enjoy the view!

Haven't been to The Fence in a couple years.remembered the fish and fries to be real good back then. Today was a disappointment.fish was dry and the fresh cut fries did not look or seem to be fresh cut fries.

Small, quiet, open air (picnic tables or set in car) by the river. Small menu but everything is fresh with good flavor. Prices are fair and staff are pleasant and efficient.

The best fish sandwich, fresh cut fries, & cabbage slaw in Central PA.not to mention the wonderful tartar sauce!

The food was awesome. The seafood basket, Fish sandwich basket with coleslaw & hot ham and cheese basket and of course lemonblend was Fantastic.

We visit Lewisburg a couple times a year and have always seen a full parking lot at The Fence. This trip, we decided to see what the appeal is, and stopped in for a late lunch. The fish, seafood combo and fries were tasty. The portions, though perfectly adequate, were quite small compared to other restaurants. No doggy bags required here. The waitresses were friendly and courteous. The 3 stars are based on my personal preferences and observation. Don't care for the outdoor seating at picnic tables. AND, while we were there, 2 adjacent tables emptied. The trays and such were removed but the tables not wiped before (or after) new patrons sat down. Pandemic or not, it's just not a good thing.

The fish sandwiches are the best ever. The secret is their amazing tartar sauce. Have home to the fence my entire life. Have never been disappointed
