The Fish Tank Guy Inc, Philadelphia PA

The condition of the turtle tank and a couple of others was enough for me to not want to come back here. I feel so bad for these turtles. Overstocked, disgusting water. The dry dock part was big enough for maybe one of them to get up there but it was so crowded none of them seemed to be able to. Store is dirty anyway. Owner isn’t super friendly.

Great store and great guy that works there. He gave me an excellent price on a 30 gallon tank. Highly recommend this store.

Very nice guy that is very knowledgeable about everything related to fish. If your looking for a professional go here not pet smart! He shared very interesting information about everything I needed to know to properly take care of the fish and what they like. If I could give 100 stars I would because this is the best fish place to go to! Thank you for being so helpful!

Don’t try to communicate he disregards you very quickly and can be quite rude. I’m guessing just go into the store and hope that he’s there.

Today was my first time visiting this location and I must say I was very surprised by the variety of fish that he had. It had a very homey feel to it which is lacking in most big chain pet stores. The owner was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable! I would definitely go back.

Very good service and very helpful. Bought a 55 gal.tank and stand came with filters and lighted lid. Very nice. I am totally happy with the business and owner.

Found him on social media, tried to ask questions and he completely disregarded me. Thought that maybe it was because a lot of ppl message him with ridiculous requests so I let it go. Tried to go to the store to see his fish tanks. Called to see if he was open on a Thursday at 3: 30, told me he was “running out and won’t be back till 5.to bad try again. ” Horrible business mindset, was going to try and buy a 75 gallon tank. Will be going to someone else that cares about there customers.

I buy all my fishies here I tell my family an friends about this place to come here it's a good place the guy is very respectful clean place all the fishies are healthy.

He tried to intimidate me with a gun in his waist. Told me not to come back because he doesn't like dealing with black people because we complain too much. I would not recommend this store to any one.

What a cool little shop. So nice to not have to drive 10 miles out of the neighborhood for the little odds and ends that always seem to come up for my turtle tank.

Nice inventory of new and gently used items. And it’s been a big help to have somewhere to take a fish or two that didn’t want to play nice with everyone else.

The tanks are leaky and very amateur repair.these are tanks FROM SOMEONE's TRASH.i tried to sell some real tanks unrepaired good factory tanks to this place and it was rejected.the only tanks in there are a disaster waiting to happen.i bought a filter from there and it worked for 3 days.your sorting through someone elses trash.buy NEW it last longer especially if you have a salt water setup.im guessing a salt water hobbiest would not purchase there anyway.

Looking for a great deal but also knowledge that goes with it. This place right here is great. Buying a fish or a fish tank or a turtle tank for that matter this is where you want to be, the guy is very knowledgeable and give you great service, he's honest and polite, you won't go wrong coming here in buying a fish or a tank with a hole set up.

Nice selection of fish tanks, purchased a 55 gallon for my bearded dragon at a very good price.
