The Fresh Grocer of Progress Plaza, Philadelphia PA

The sandwiches here are huge and there's so many options to choose from. But sometimes you may have to stand in line for a while, but is still worth it.

The cashier I had at 9 was training. So I wanted to make her experience good. (people are so nasty) It was me and my sister. She had spoke and asked was it all together (just had things everywhere). But it wasn't and glad she asked instead of assuming. We had nice conversations. It was very crowded but it is around the holidays.

All I can say if you're not in there for sale prices forget it stick up without a meaning prices are sky-high!

I've not been in that area, for over four years, and many needed changes, due to COVID-19 virus. My items were good, and service was curtious, and being in that area, when I was younger, when it was called Progress Plaza, no Fresh Grocer's, brought back, many memory's, as a kid. Food, fantastic.

You cannot use coupons if you can't download them onto a phone. For instance my 70 yo mother does not have, nor does she want a phone & therefore cannot take advantage of the coupons. They are NOT in the circular. This is ridiculous. How do you explain this!?

Went to Fresh Grocers for the first time. I purchased a honey turkey hoagie. Very, very, very good. I couldn't finish it and by the third day and I was taking my last bite, I said man I could go for another one. The hoggie was actually better on the second and third day.

The hoagie guy fuss me out for asking for the hoagie to be cut into more pieces. Dag I only asked a question.

Absolutely Horrible customer service! If I could give a zero star. I would. 1st. I can never get a hold of anyone over the phone. 2nd, I have used the shop from home three times to order groceries for my mom (because I no longer live close) every single time.there were items missing. I called about getting the missing items delivered, I was told my mom would have to pick them up and they are giving me trouble with getting a refund.

They are doing the best they can with the community they serve. All of the employees are extremely helpful and friendly.

The store looked a messed and the service behind the fresh lunch meat counter was terrible I will never shop again there Periodt

Horrible workers. If you can close this place and rebuild, change the layout and rehire people who want to work.

Wasn't there long yet the employees were polite and helpful. The sandwiches were good as well.

Always super crowded but the variety of stuff that they sell in there is amazing. The hot station, prepackaged dinners and deli are a hit!

Prices too high. Bathroom looks like its in a gas station and the employees are rude and ghetto

It was awesome except for one problem. My order keep getting sent to the wrong address. My address is 6901 Old York Road Apt B404 NO D404. The building has big huge letters on them.there is building A B C and D.im in building B not D. Thank You.

This is in a very great neighborhood and I love the supermarket staff and the customers that go in there I love where it’s at and on college campus

The Fresh Grocer is clean, organized and provide good products. However, I notice that some of the employees are undertrained or are not focused on their job. I’ve had instances where my cashier was on their phone. Lastly, some of them struggle to provide me services and tell me that they have not been trained to do so. These situations lead me to believe that the employees are not being held accountable to high standards and are not being trained properly. As of right now, I would not recommend this store.

You need to teach the younger person at the sandwich counter how to talk to customers with respect
