The Fresh Works reviews
18Got a wiz cheesesteak with onions, sweet peppers, and tomatoes along with some breeze fries. This is delicious and more food than I can handle in one sitting.
Came here to try out Philly cheesesteak for the first time! Ordered the classic Philly cheesesteak and the buffalo chicken cheesesteak, plus some fries for me and my friends. Everything was awesome, including the smoothies. Would recommend. Service was also top notch, with the server giving me a nice bag to carry my haul in!
(Takeout only joint)
Cooked up a lottt of food very quick and it was very good. Priced very good for the amount you get.
Repeatedly skimp on the fries and cheese whiz everytime I go so I stopped. Place used to be good otherwise.
Edit:
Gave it another go. They still skimp on the fries and put the wrong cheese on my steak. Cheese steak is smaller too, less toppings. And raised the price while you get less. Shrinkflation!
Food is always great. Guy behind the counter was funny and inviting. Need more people like him in this world.
First spot that sells Philly cheesteaks that I tried on my first trip to Philly. It was alright. I heard later that Philly's are not what they're known best for. Next time I'll try the chicken or one of the other recommended items (tuna was also recommended but pretty sure I'm good on that lol).
Unreal cheesesteaks. The bread is made fresh right in front of you, literally cant get any fresher than right out the oven. The one owner is a hall of fame basketball player from Saint Joe's. Dope spot, gotta check it out
I ordered through Uber eats. They didn’t have the salmon cheesesteak and didn’t remove it from the Uber site. The restaurant called to inform me, I asked them to cancel because they could not fulfill my order instead they tried to convince me to cancel on my end and pay the cancellation fee for food they didn’t have. Never Again. The food is good, but that experienced sucked. Would not recommend delivery.
Good place to go to if you want something fast to eat My first time there & i would go back
Cheesesteak. SO GOOD! And I learned what an Inside Out was. Tried it. SO GOOD! This is the real go-to in Philly.
First time visiting and I must say the cheese steak pile with meat. With that being said steak could have used little more flavor. Overall the staff was friendly and when I come back in town I’ll definitely stop by again.
My new favorite cheesesteak. No longer live in Philly and am always craving a good steak (almost impossible to find outside of the area). Jim’s was always my go to but I think they’ve been supplanted. Every bite I took got better. Good chop, great flavor, perfect ratios of meat: cheese: roll. Exactly what I look for in a good steak. Next time I’m back in the city, they’ll be seeing me again.
Only knock, fries game could be better. Ordered curry fries and they were just regular fries that were curled. Okay, but not the classic curly fries I’ve come to know and love.
If you want a good steak, make it a point to get over here at some point.
Sandwich came wrapped up thiccccc so you knew it was about to slap. Would definitely recommend getting a fruit smoothie with the philly.
They’re light on the cheese but the quality for price is 10/10.only issue is they’re always busy
Listen!
This place is Philly Love all day everyday!
Food and service is amazing. The best prices you will get in the city.
Stop by and show some love.
Shout out to Tim grill master!
Not terrible, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this one. Plenty of meat on the steak but slightly funky tasting and not enough cheese.
My bus broke down, so I went to the next cheesesteak joint. Turns out I was lucky, because otherwise I wouldn't have tried this amazing cheesesteak.
Reasonable priced for the amount of meat you get. The cheesesteak pictured was $9.50, or $9 without the cheese.
Edit: After trying other places in Philly, this was still the best Cheesesteak I had. 5/5
