The Gamemaster's Realm reviews
15Without a doubt the coolest collection store I have ever come across in the Pittsburgh area. This guy has everything from every genre. Best service I've ever had friendly dude I might just go back there to hang out in my spare time it was that much fun.
The owner was very knowledgeable about my Nintendo NES system. He cleaned the system and several of my games and was not going to charge me for the service. He was kind to my two young kids and provided information on the items they purchased.
The prices are fair and the owner is fun to talk to and very passionate about his products and business.
My kids and I love this store!
A unique store with lots to look at: board games, dice, video games, RPG games, collectibles, and more! The owner is very helpful and friendly. Trade-ins are also accepted! Highly recommend stopping in!
Much larger store than I anticipated. Has retro gaming, modern gaming, board gaming and d&d covered. I suggest a visit.
Good store but the owner never shuts up and might shame you for not buying obscure ps2 or ps1 games. However, it’s the best retro game store for miles so I’ll take what I can get.
I recently discovered the Realm and had a completely awesome experience. The Gamemaster is very fair on the trade price and sell price, and a truly honest merchant. I genuinely can't wait to return.
I did research to find a local vintage video game shop near me. The Gamemaster’s Realm popped up first. I’m glad it did. I was looking for a NES and he had plenty on hand. Brian is the only guy in the store but he was sure to take time with me and my kids to answer any questions and show us what we needed to do to feel comfortable with our purchase.
I loved the selection of games and it brought out my inner child. We bought a NES at a reasonable price. It did take us some time to try everything out to make sure everything was in working order. For our time, Brian threw in a second controller for free. Now that’s customer service! On top of that, he was still offering holiday specials on games.during a pandemic!
This guy is the real deal. If you’re looking for a place to shop local AND find what you’re looking for, please visit Brian at The Gamemaster’s Realm.
I'd say the Gamemaster's Realm is like a museum of amazing collectibles, three levels of love, and a lifetime of amazement.
Something for everyone of every age.
The stores owner, Brian Roper, is obviously creating a dream palace for so many people to experience!
And, I'm obviously not biased!
Always new stuff to be nostalgic about and more used games than you can shake a gaffi stick at.
Best place to trade in games. Games and merchandise from all platforms available and table gaming too.
Excellent store with one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever received.
Brian was very knowledgeable and educated us with our gaming system. He was very nice to my five year old boy who was excited to see all the items in the store.
Prices are very reasonable and it was a pleasure doing business with a nice and honest person like Brian.
I highly recommend this business over the large chain stores.
Thanks again and we are looking forward to our next visit.
Best,
Chad
I found The Gamemaster's Realm because I needed to sell some of my old video games before a move. My desire was to part with them quickly, so after doing some research I tried to shoot for an asking price that was close to what I might actually get for them, as opposed to starting high and haggling. I was countered with an offer that was 25% *HIGHER* than my initial asking price! The Gamemaster said that it was a nice collection and wanted to give me what it truly could be worth. Great experience from a community friendly place! I'll be stopping back to sell, to shop, and hopefully to hang out and play games once community gatherings are safe!
Great niche market for games and other accessories. Very nice comedic workers. A vintage gamers dreamworld!
The Gamemasters Realm is a great place. The owner is a very decent fellow; a little opinionated, but a good fellow nonetheless. Video games, board games, RPGs, and all kinds of fun is what you'll find at GR. No kidding
