The Gaslight Inn, Gettysburg PA

We had a wonderful stay at the Gaslight Inn, with fabulous service, amazing breakfasts, and great conversations with the other guests at the Inn. The place is immaculately clean. We loved coming back from our busy days to a clean room and bathroom. You don't get that at hotels any more. We decided to leave early - before breakfast - on our last day, and the hosts made us a "to go" box so we could have breakfast on the road. It was perfect!

We LOVED our stay here! The location is in a great part of town that puts you central to all the main attractions so you can walk to most things, but despite being close to things, it’s still very quiet. There is off street parking for guests. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating and they even took special considerations for my food allergies that I never expected them to! Our room was spacious and very clean and we had access to a balcony that looked out over a lovely backyard. The breakfasts were great and again, accommodating to food allergies. When we go back to Gettysburg, we will definitely be staying here again.

Super accommodating proprietors at the Gaslight! Delicious homemade breakfasts, snacks, and cold or hot drinks. Beautiful side and back porches and lovely back garden. Spotlessly clean rooms and baths. Free lecturers on the town history each morning before breakfast. Free on site parking, safe neighborhood. Easy walk to shops and tour buses. I can't say enough about this sweet place.

A great little B&B! My room was super comfortable (bed, pillows, sitting area, bathroom accessibility). The Inn was clean throughout and had lots of areas to sit and relax (in addition to in my room). Breakfast is served at the dining table with yummy home-cooked food, fruit, juice, and coffee/tea. Home-made snacks are available in the evening. A small (shared) fridge is available if needed. There is sufficient/convenient off-street parking (not handicap accessible though if that is needed). The proprietor arranged for a local historian to visit with us one morning before breakfast. That was a very nice addition to already outstanding service. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I were traveling for a historical honeymoon road trip and stayed 3 days 2 nights in the aster room and it was absolutely amazing! The parking is directly behind the inn and can be accessed by the alley next to the Hartmann attorney/law firm office from Baltimore street.

We just returned home from our weekend in Gettysburg and we would definitely stay at the Gaslight Inn when we return! Wonderful hosts! Delicious breakfasts! Love the extra amenities - refrigerator that can be used by the guests, baked treats every day! Easy walk to Gettysburg attractions, restaurants, and shops. Thank you Jennifer and Mike!

Don't miss this place. Front your check-in to your check out you're family. The Inn Keepers are friendly and first rate. You will be within walking distance of major attractions, tour.offices and dining. If you want a once in a life time breakfast dining served promptly at 9 a.m. By the top rated staff then this a must. Don't show up like you were eating a McDonald's, this is a fantasy.the rooms were great and the ambience of the facility is amazing.

This was our first time at a BnB and it will not be our last to this one! We had such a wonderful time! The sign out front says that it’s an Oasis in Town and that couldn’t be more accurate. A short walk to everything downtown and a perfect hopping off point for any activity. Great parking in back, the rear of the place is gorgeous and the host is incredible. All breakfasts were top notch and made us feel at home. Servers were with you all through breakfast and provided anything you needed! We highly recommend the blueberry baked pancake. Michael was an awesome host! Thank you so much to everyone there

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owners are great to work with and very helpful. Super clean and pretty. Loved the Gettysburg expert they have come in to talk with the guests. Breakfast was wonderful!

Super helpful host who lent us a bike lock to use while we were there when we couldn't remember our combination lock. Comfortable rooms and a great breakfast all 3 mornings. He made and served Creme brulee french toast! Nice quite landscaped spot right off the main drag. Walking distance to in town attractions. We rode our bicycles from there through the battlefields.

My family and I spent 4 wonderful days here. Can't say enough about the experience. The breakfast was fantastic and so are the people there, so polite and friendly. I highly recommend staying here it's walking distance to historic downtown gettysburg. Just a wonderful place. We will be back

Nice establishment, close to the center of town so we could walk just about anywhere in town.
The breakfast is a set meal at 9 am. The food was good, and we got to meet the other visitors.

We received a trip to the Gaslight as a gift. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend to anyone staying in Gettysburg. We will return!

The owner was there to greet us and take us to our rooms. You feel like family as soon as you meet them. The breakfast they provide is 5 star restaurant meals.
We will definitely be back there.
Walking distance to everything is another reason to stay here. It made our trip to be one to talk about for years to come

Super cute B&B. The beds are super comfortable and we got a room with a steam shower that was amazing. The breakfast was yummy and it's just like being at home. Would stay here again in a heart beat. The location is about a 20minute walk from the center of town.

Had a wonderful two-night stay in the Aster Room. The room was clean and had plenty of seating. Highlights included the fireplace and steam shower. Water is available in room and can be refilled downstairs. Breakfast was held with other guests in the dining room. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Soft drinks and snacks are available in the kitchen. We may have been lucky but it was very quiet. The location is ideal and is in walking distance of most bars, restaurants and shops.

Our very first Bed and Breakfast experience couldn't have been any more perfect. The owners are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the food is delicious. We will 100% be back.

Exceptional! I don't give five stars often, but when I do, its because I've been blown away. The Gaslight Inn is phenomenal! Mike is an awesome host, chef, baker, person, etc. The whole staff was friendly and extremely attentive. The room we stayed in was immaculate! Breakfast both mornings was fabulous, fresh and so very tasty! Booked again for another event without hesitation and cannot wait to return again. Truly the best B&B experience we've had in Gettysburg, hands down.
