My now 3 year old has been attending Goddard in KOP since February of 2018 and our experience with everyone there has been nothing short of exceptional the entire time. I’m especially impressed by the way they handle special circumstances such as COVID-19. Communication is always frequent and transparent and I’m never left without the answers or information I need. I could not recommend them more to parents in the area. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I'm very happy with all the improvements to the facility, classrooms and supplies since Susan took over. New management has an open door policy and immediately addresses any questions, comments or concerns. There have been good staff additions also. I'm not sure where some of these other bad reviews are coming from as we've had totally different experiences. I very much recommend this location.

My son has been attending The Goddard since he was 9 months and he will be 4 in July. When it was announced that it was under new ownership, I must say like any other parent I was very nervous about the change of ownership and what was to come for my son Malachi. I am very pleased to say that I had the opportunity to sit and meet with the new owner Mrs. Susan to see what the new changes are to come for Goddard and after meeting with her I am very impressed she is super sweet person who wants nothing but the best for her new Goddard family. After this meeting I am very satisfied, and I will be keeping my son there for the a very long time. Since the change of hands, the new look to the front office is beautiful and the best thing added is the option to enter a code to get into the building. This makes is such an ease to be able to drop off and pick up my son without waiting to be buzzed in.

If you love your kids you won’t send them to this school. Avoid at all costs! The new owner Susan has no business being around children. She made no effort to get to know my family or my kids, constantly had “billing issues” resulting in us being charged random amounts of money at different times, has unprofessionally spoken badly about families to teachers and about teachers to families. She lacks any warmth or compassion.

We’ve been at Goddard KOP since 2015, and since her takeover in October 2018, we’ve made the choice to switch our kids to Goddard in Plymouth Meeting after finding out that Susan called my family “one of the worst families she’s had to deal with. ” I also spoke to another teacher and parent who spoke about how she ripped a piece of pizza out of a child’s hand on pizza day because his parents hadn’t paid the $5. I’ve called Goddard corporate offices to file a complaint, but who knows how seriously they’ll take it.

Our decision to leave was difficult only because our kids’ teachers are so great. I have zero complaints about the teachers. They developed such close and loving relationships with my kids, and we were genuinely saddened to leave them.

Not recommended at all.no idea about all the teachers but pre-k-2 head teacher is horrible. I sent my daughter for the very first time and explained the management everything about her first time. They all will be good at the time of admission but management doesn't keep track of anything after that.
First day, I left her for 30-40 mins, she vomited twice and no one called me from the school. When I called, then only they informed me. I was near to school, so directly went there and saw her in silent tears. No one was talking to her in the classroom, unattended!

I noticed second day (the first half, i was in school), the teacher doesn't care if any child is crying and she has not taken initiative to provide comfort zone. And above all, I saw her talking to the child in a rude way and she lied to one of the parent that her son did great and the true story is "The boy was continuously crying for all day and the teacher didn't bother to go to him and try to give some love and comfort or at least give him a napkin for wiping the face".
I talked to the management and they didn't do anything about it, so I took out my daughter from that school.
Goddard management will give you activities calendar but they don't check if teachers are following that or not. In my case - 2 days and no promised activities for children in the classroom. I liked the assistant teacher, he at least tried interacting with some kids. But so called head teacher was busy with her iPad during class.

Very dissatisfied and had to move my 9 month old.and would not recommend this location to anyone, I will not go into details of everything we had gone through and also witnessed another child go through but I will say that if you choose to send your child to this particular Goddard school, please consider doing pop ups to check on your children periodically. I did not find this to be anything close to a safe or caring environment.during orientation they were very sweet and seemed to be attentive but as time had gone on I was able to realize they are in business for the money and could care less about what happens to your child or children. I had settled on moving my child and never write a comment about it, but I recently had a neighbor ask me about my experience because they were very unhappy, and have experienced some issues themselves, which I will not go into. I told her the things that happened to my daughter while she was at this school and also gave her a vague scope of what I witnessed happening to another child and how I informed their parent of the incident I had witnessed between their child and teacher, luckily my child was starting her new school the following Monday but me informing another parent of the issue, caused the owner to call me several times at work and leaving very angry negative massages on my work voicemail. I contacted the daycare and she started screaming at me and asking me "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE AND IF YOU HAD AN ISSUE YOU SHOULD HAVE COME STRAIGHT TO ME. YOU DO NOT TALK TO OTHER PARENTS ABOUT WHAT GOES ON HERE, YOU SHOULD OF CAME TO ME FIRST! ' she also told me that that day was my daughter last day! I immediately hung the phone up and went to get my daughter because the safety of my child was no longer in question.it was obvious, when I got there she would not open the door until she had a few people from her team there, she finally opened the door I noticed my daughters things were at the front door and as I was heading into the basement she and her (crew) tried to stop me.telling me I could not get my child. I pushed past her and got my child and got out of there, (by the way, that teacher I told on, was back to work in the pre toddler area). I was lucky my job offered work life balance daycare services as one of my benefits, my child was able to go to another daycare for a few days until her position at her new daycare was available, which was that Monday coming. I think it is important to write these reviews of our experiences at these day cares to help other parents make safe and informed decisions for their children. I feel that if I had written this sooner maybe I could have helped someone. I also contacted Goddard Corporate and the state about the issues I documented, and was harshly questioned, later after an investigation.was told there was no proof, but how do you get proof from infants and pre toddlers? There are no cameras anywhere. I followed up with corporate and was told that the state did not have any findings, whatever that means. Anyway my daughter is blossoming beautifully and she has been very happy with her new daycare, they give the children plenty of mental stimulation and attentiveness, I am also happy that I can walk in at anytime without having to be buzzed in.
