The Grayson House, Uniontown PA

We got married on November 3rd, 2023. We toured the facility about 6 months before that knowing we had to get things squared away relatively quickly in order to make that happen. Immediately our first visit, there was no where else I could see myself getting married. Ashley, the owner, was fantastic in her approach of creating a seamless timeline for us to keep our day moving and taking care of all of the set up details. I’m not sure I have ever met someone so organized! You truly do not need to hire an event coordinator- Ashley and her team have you covered! On top of being a picturesque venue inside and out, Ashley was able to recommend a ton of vendors for nearly every category and provides so much more in her wedding packages than other venues. I could go on and on, but I will end by saying that I have no regrets about having our wedding at The Grayson House! Check them out!

This venue is so stunning that it can only be outdone by the owner, Ashley, and her kind and caring energy. Not only does the venue sparkle all day and night but Ashley truly does want to make all your wedding dreams come true. The amenities that come with the venue are so worth it and built into the price. Everyone working there is so excited for your wedding day and bringing your vision and timeline to life. We saw no other venue. The Grayson House and Ashley were the ones for us after first walkthrough and discussion. If I never attend a wedding anywhere else, I would be overjoyed. 10/10

My husband and I got married at the Grayson House in October of this year. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ashley and her team. The Grayson House was the first and only venue we toured because we were that blown away. From the very beginning, Ashley was extremely informative, responsive, and organized. She solved every problem that we had with no hesitation, including the little things that didn't go as planned day of. The venue is dreamy and elegant with the most beautiful scenery. Countless guests have commented on how amazing their experience was at the Grayson House. I could not recommend this venue more.

From the very beginning we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The venue is absolutely stunning & ashley made us feel so comfortable from the start. From beginning of planning to the end of the wedding everything was organized, planned out perfectly, and made wedding planning very relaxed.

Kelsey and I couldn’t be happier with our wedding at the Grayson House! The venue is beautiful, from the inside to the awesome covered patio to the awesome views. Ashley and her staff are so nice to work with, Ashley always answered any questions we had throughout the planning process and really turned Kelsey’s planning into a reality. They set up and clean up everything so you can just show up and enjoy your day! They have recommended vendors that make picking your catering and other services a breeze. It poured down rain so we had to do ceremony inside but they had the place back to regular tables in no time they truly operate like a well oiled machine! If you’re looking for an all in one venue or just a venue in general I highly recommend looking into The Grayson House.

Great place for a wedding. The barn was very nice, the catering, the bar, the crew that worked it all very good. Hope to get to go back for another. Thumbs up.

This is one of the most beautiful venues in the tri state area with breath taking views. Thank you Ashley for for making the special day go so smoothly. Ashley and staff went above and beyond to be sure we had the best day ever. The ceremony under the big tree was absolutely breath taking. If your looking for a one of a kind barn venue this one's for you!

We absolutely love attending events here! It’s a true gem in our area. The owners are so sweet and go above and beyond for their guests!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! I 10/10 recommend, the experience was wonderful and I would recommend to anyone!

While attending my sons wedding on 8/18/2023 my gown was damaged by the crudely constructed wooden chairs at the Grayson House. While getting up from my chair a sharp bolt on the back rest of the chair caught my gown. I was literally attached to the chair and had to have someone assist me to detach myself. You can see in the attached photo the end result…
At the end of the evening I asked to speak with the venue owner, Ashley. I was immediately told by her that she had not seen this before. I showed her the chair and pointed out the sharpness of the bolt. Literally all of the chairs in the Hall are constructed in this same manner. I suggested she may want to consider applying a clear silicone to the bolts to avoid this happening in the future. Again she said she had no knowledge of this previously happening. Meanwhile I spoke with two other people who were attending my sons wedding who had this same thing happen that night. Ashley curtly suggested I follow up with an e-mail to her after the weekend. I did so early Tuesday morning and still had no response by late Thursday night so I left a voicemail on her phone. The next day I received an e-mail telling me that she had consulted with her attorney and he advised her to notify me that the venue is not liable for any damage to my dress. Clearly the decision to assume responsibility is hers alone and not her attorney’s. I was taken back by her dismissive and indifferent attitude.

Here are some additional comments about the Venue and staff:

1. Beautiful location up on the hilltop that has a marvelous sunset on a sunny day; you will get great photos
2. Event ran smoothly
3. They waited as long as possible to open and pour the champagne for the traditional toast. My husband had requested that and was pleased that the champagne was still chilled and sparkling.
4. The acoustics in the Hall are terrible so any music becomes very muddy
5. The concrete floors are not conducive for dancing. Hard on your knees and they need to add a real dance floor
6. The bathrooms both men and women’s have just 2 toilets each. So if you have a large group that could be an issue
7. The venue had an armed local Constable stationed next to the bar. I have no idea why they felt the need for that. I have never seen that at any other wedding.
8. They will hold a wedding outside if you request it and weather permitting. That outside location is underneath a beautiful large tree. However that tree is at least 50 yards down a grassy sloping hill so getting there in your dress shoes or anyone with any mobility issues will have a very difficult time traversing that hill. They need to build some sort of a walkway to get down there and also need a platform for the ceremony to be performed there.
9. Overall the place was very clean and well maintained (outside of the chair issue mentioned above)

Beautiful venue, amazing scenery, attentive staff especially AShley who went above and beyond to make our experience one in a lifetime. Highly recommend this venue, would give more stars if I could!

We had our wedding here in July, it was perfect. You will not regret choosing the Grayson House, it was the most beautiful venue and the staff was amazing!

Simply the best. Ashley and her whole staff are so amazing. We had the most perfect wedding and they were all such a huge help in making it all happen. The venue is so beautiful it speaks for itself. It has something for everyone with the great outside area. My new husband and I could not be more thankful that we chose such a perfect venue! I can't wait to see all the pictures.

This is an amazing venue!
Food, drinks just everything done right!

The big issue is the entire inside is solid wood and concrete which makes the sound system
Poor.
They need to add some acoustic panels to the walls and ceiling.
The floor is also concrete which is poor for dancing.
They could add a dance floor and work on some wall panels and make the place truly amazing.

It was still a great venue overall.

It could be improved cheaply and simply.
Not sure what they charge but it would be amazing if you could actually hear everything and not guess what is said for those of us that have hearing issues.

The food and sweets were amazing though!
