The Hardware Center, Paoli PA

Old school hardware store. Found exactly what I needed in less than 5 minutes. A clerk asked me what I needed and BAM! - It was in my hand. Top notch, old school, ageless, and sooooo much nicer of an experience compared to the massive hardware stores. I didn't have to find a clerk-he found me. I didn't have to walk 350 yards. When I gotta have it quick, these small places are the only place I'll go. Great place!

You pay a little more due to their size and staff. But this place is great. Knowledgeable staff can help you with anything. Worlds greatest tomatoes. Crazy expensive but i dont care, im addicted.

The best staff and the best stuff. I get my tomatoes, cucumbers, and fresh strawberries here rather than the grocery store (fresher and better prices). I get everything here rather than purchasing from Amazon. I also get my fancy liquid soap here, birdseed, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and painting materials. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They also keep tissues and hand sanitizer at the entrance, which I appreciate due to my weakened immune system. They really do care about their patrons and that makes all the difference!

I went into store a half hour before closing. I was greeted immediately upon entering. I needed batteries for my two smart keys. The gentleman who waited on me retrieved the batteries and installed them for me. All this for less than 7 dollars and 20 minutes.
Bravo and thank you. I can always count on great service at Paoli Hardware.

Guys helped me find a key I dropped by register. Thought I was going crazy.

This toy store above the hardware center is well worth seeking out. It's got great variety. Support this local business that our kids love!

Bought parts to make a plumbing repair and they leaked at first. Only after calling store did they say to clean the copper pipe before installing shark bite fitting. Nothing on shark bite packaging said to do this.

The reason I went to a local store and paid more than Home Depot was to get the kind of advice I didn't get until I had a problem.

Found what I needed to repair closet door. Lovely selection of home goods plus all kinds of hardware supplies

My go to place for all of my quick small plumbing jobs. The gentleman at the store even offered to dismantle a part off my old hose so I could still use it and not have to replace all of it. Amazing customer service!

What puts this hardware store above others is the knowledgeable and helpful staff. I had spent a ton of time at multiple Home Depots and Lowes trying to find the right pipe fittings for a plumbing project and no one was ever able to help me. Within a minute of entering this store someone who actually understood the different types of fittings was there to help me, figured out what I needed, and knew where to look. It turned out I already had what I needed so I didn’t end up buying anything, but because of this interaction I’ll be going here for all of my future hardware needs. It was so refreshing to feel confident that I was getting accurate information from a hardware store employee.

This employee named Ryan was little rude when I went in this past week. Started talking about how I should check my privilege and saying that I was ungrateful for the life I have lived. It was really weird, lol. Will not come again.

Full disclosure: my father owns this business but it truly is an awesome place. If you need help fixing something there is always someone available who knows what they are talking about. Beats the hell out of wandering around the big box stores. And all the merchandise is quality parts not the cheap stuff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Willing to spend a lot of time on your problems and offer advice to help make your choices better. Offers more than a normal hardware store. Has the earliest and best corn and tomatoes. Good place to buy a hostess gift. Great outdoor furniture selection. Fascinating toy department. Stop by

Don't shop here Unbelievable policy for a toy store.

Today my 9 and 11 year old were told they COULD NOT enter the toy store on the second floor. Parents must be with any age child. Now we have seen it all; a toy store that prohibits kids to freely explore a store.

Overpriced toys and merchandise with terrible store policies. Clearly more important to have outrageous profits than customers satifaction.

Will do everything on line from now on as the 7 people standing around the counter obviously don’t want to work with customers. I was dumbfounded but it’s easy to see the days of customer service are lost.

Have shopped here for over 5 years. I did Prefer the local shops to the big box stores for the personal touch. Not anymore.
Every time we came in the kids would go to the toy store and I would meet them up there and buy something that was twice the price as you can find from amazon.

I spoke to management and they informed me that too many toys were broken with chlildren in the store. Sounds like cheap toys and over priced. Broken. If a kid can break a toy then don’t sell it or send it back to the manufacturer and don’t carry them anymore

I guess It makes sense when the employees spend most of there time on their smart phones then helping the customers.

Don’t support stores with ridiculous rules.

Always friendly and helpful. Always well stocked with quality goods, plants, and surprising items. It's great to support a locally owned business.

They usually have what I want at about the same price as Home Depot or Low2es - sometimes even less - without the driving.

If you live in or near Paoli, this really should be your first stop before driving all the way to one of the Big Boys.
