Being in the hospitality business, we know a well-run place when we see one and the Himalayan Institute is just that. Each and every person on the team supports the organization’s primary goal, which is to foster an environment that is conducive to reconnecting to your inner source of joy, and it works! The picturesque setting and the wildlife only add to the magical feel of a real life nirvana. We will be back as often as possible for years to come.

Every retreat is like a mini vacation in a beautiful location regardless of the season. The yoga classes are wonderful and something new is learned during each trip.

We had a tranquil time. Rented the guest house and had 2 rooms with a full bath with a shred space in the middle. Enjoyed the time to quiet the noise and learn about ways to heal yourself and to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The massage was worth every dollar. Everyone is accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious! Will be back in the future. The only reason I gave 3 stars is I had a scheduling conflict and missed the yoga class and it wasn't rescheduled for me.

My mother and I attended the 'Movement as Medicine' retreat. It was exactly what we needed after feeling extremely isolated these past 2 years from COVID restrictions. We like many others, just stopped moving, stopped living, stopped going out in fear of COVID. This has had a negative impact on each of our mental, spiritual, and physical health and well-being.

We spent 3 nights, and four days. All of the HI staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and mindful of giving you space and time to heal and disconnect. Our massage and shirodhara was heavenly and very rejuvenating! Staying at HI helped us strive for that calmness and serene feeling which helped us both relax, allowing us to reboot our mind and soul. Being at HI, truly allows you to enjoy the sound of silence along with the lovely outdoor 'nature' sounds. You can take advantage of walking around 400 acres - walking trails, a pond and falls, a serene hilltop, (literally picturesque from the movie 'Sounds of Music'), additionally visiting and touring their Moka Origins coffee and chocolate factory on the HI grounds (a quick walk at the top of one hill) offered a pleasant treat. You must engage in their taste-testing of ALL their chocolates. A true delight!

Being 100% gluten free is always a challenge when travelling and visiting new places. I had no issues with my meals. HI offers GF meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I loved their fresh, GF-bread! The food will not disappoint you and the

I have booked another retreat, and am returning for a whole week this time by myself. Sometimes we just need to put down our phones, unplug from technology, close our eyes and take a few deep breaths. HI offers this and much more. I look forward to returning to relax and rejuvenate my sacred-spirit! Thank you to all the hard working, genuine caring staff that keep HI's mission alive, which is to inspire, educate, and empower all who seek to experience their full potential.

I love staying here. If it weren't so far, I would go more frequently. It's a lovely space with a lot of options for rest and rejuvenation. It's recently renovated and just beautiful in all regards. Highly recommended.

Extremely peaceful place. Everything from the grounds to the accommodations and the staff contributed to a welcoming atmosphere and energy that truly made me feel safe and comfortable from the minute I walked in. I felt like I was really able to leave the world behind and focus on myself which was exactly what I needed.

I went to the Himalayan Institute for an extended weekend with the Wholebeing Institute. The facility was clean, serene, spacious, and quiet. The setting was beautiful with trails to walk, places to sit and write, a beautiful meditation shrine, and vegetarian food with vegan and gluten free options. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I left feeling happy and at ease

It was so fun to be with so many happy and welcoming people. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful with lots of well marked trails with lots of benches to sit on if you want to drink in the experience of being there. I love everything about the rhythm of the day. The shine is such a quiet place for meditation- as are the benches behind the shrine. Whenever I leave to go home, I feel inspired, and I feel a noticeable sense of peace and inner spaciousness. The beds are comfortable. In the 20 +years I’ve been going here I have seem continuous modernization of the amenities
