JDK helped to create an amazing wedding weekend for me and my wife! They catered our rehearsal dinner / cocktail hour and reception all at an offsite venue and everything was to die for! Tara helped us plan everything to make for a flawless event. She helped us build out an amazingly personalized menu and helped us adjust after meeting the team at one of their tastings. During the weekend Todd made sure everything ran perfect and is great to deal with. The rest of the staff was the absolute definition of professional and attentive. I wish I got more names to personally thank them. But I highly recommend JDK if you want a wedding where the food is delicious, memorable and the staff will ensure everything runs perfectly!

This is a top notch company with a focus on helping to create memories not just provide a service. Both the food and the service were above par. We were amazed at the level of service and how great the food was. All of this while working at an off-site venue. Todd the gentleman who was the lead for the weekend was nothing less than a great professional, super attentive to everyone's needs. Starting with Friday evenings rehearsal dinner to the cocktail hour on Saturday afternoon and then dinner Saturday evening. Todd and his team never missed a beat.
The food was on a different level than most other catering companies. You can tell how much they care by how well the food was served and tasted. I would highly recommend the tomato soup, artisan grilled cheese, and you would never go wrong with the cornbread macaroon and short rib appetizer. I can go on and on. I would highly recommend JDK for any event you're having. I would highly recommend you ask for Todd as well!

Colton and his team did an amazing job with our wedding florals! Colton was very easy to work with, flexible and personable. He was patient with my ever-changing mind and really saw my vision and ran with it. The florals were absolutely stunning and better than I could have ever envisioned! JDK took care of the entirety of our guest table centerpieces which took a huge load off our plate. Their beautiful designs added the perfect touch to our wedding day. JDK was the exclusive caterer for our chosen wedding venue. The team was extremely dedicated to helping us create a menu that we were happy with and took the time to answer every question we had. The taste testing was such a fun experience. The staff, esp.bartenders, did a nice job serving guests in a timely manner.
We did have a couple issues on the day of the wedding, however. The food that was served was not prepared/presented in the same way that we tasted and a good amount of the candles that I had provided were not put out. As well, the tables we indicated as VIP were the tables that were served the slowest. While guests had no idea, these issues were disappointing to us as the bride and groom since we spent so much time preparing for the big day.

JDK is the best catering and events service out there! Lexi Leach was our event specialist, she did an awesome job making our day perfect just as we imagined it to be. We hired JDK for our engagement party and Lexi was the best to work with! A lot of the guests were amazed with the taste of the food and the service being so professional. Lexie is very responsive, helpful and patient. My fiancé, family and I were so happy to work with her and with JDK.

The JDK Group catered our office Christmas party last week.
The food was amazing and the staff did a great job throughout the day. This was the 2nd party they have done for us and both events have been awesome.

JDK was paired as an exclusive/preferred vendor with our wedding venue. It truly is a dream team.

Colton Weyant-Staver is floral and design director. He sets the standard for vendor communication. His responses were always timely, professional, and pleasant. His attention to detail means everything. We received our itemized floral proposal very early on and he was able to translate my vision and preference for floral colors and feelings into gorgeous wedding bouquets, groom’s boutonniere, ceremony arch, mothers’ corsages, flower girl crown, table centerpieces, and hanging greenery and lights from our tent. We have received so many compliments from guests and other staff working our wedding on the gorgeous floral designs.

Lexi Leach served as our catering contact. Every interaction with Lexi showcased her true professionalism. She is a gem. We revised our catering proposal several times to update specific details and everything came together perfectly day of. Courteous and on top of every detail to ensure that we are getting the exact food and beverage at every stage of the wedding- arrival, cocktail hour, reception, and cake. Guests could not stop raving about the food. The dinner service went flawlessly, every server was truly so helpful offering my groom and I food or drink to ensure we had something in our stomachs as the night continued. It was a joy to have Lexi checking in on us at the reception to check if we needed anything. She was not only there to serve as event staff but we could tell she was genuinely happy to be a part of our wedding day. We are sad that we won’t be having another wedding (haha) to enjoy the food and service by JDK.

JDK’s catering and bar service for our wedding was phenomenal! They were so easy and fun to work with from first looking through menus to our tasting and to final details! We’ve had rave reviews of the food at our wedding - one being that the boneless buttermilk friend chicken is the best in the world and we agree! The linens and table settings were perfect, staff was so professional and a pleasure to be with, and again - the food! Highly recommend choosing JDK:)

Colton and his team did an AMAZING job with our wedding florals at The Bond in York, PA - the pops of color and touches of boho, all within a moody and romantic palette, was executed perfectly. I definitely wanted some color brought to the gray industrial space, with but with a relaxed elegance. We really couldn't be happier with the tone the florals set in the reception space. Our ceremony florals were equally as gorgeous, delivered to St. Joseph's in York, PA. I planned my wedding from afar, and Colton was so easy to work with - spot on, very professional, and the florals/design was affordable. Our JDK venue coordinator, Lexi, was incredibly helpful after a staffing transition - she swooped in about two months before the wedding and helped place the finishing touches on our design, including finalizing our linen colors, ordering chargers and velvet napkins. It was so helpful to have JDK handle those rentals instead of outsourcing another vendor myself. Lexi was thorough and made sure our personal decor was set up perfectly at the venue. Our ceremony was offsite, so it was such a relief to arrive at The Bond and have everything set up and looking gorgeous. I finally want to note that the food is fantastic - our guests are still raving about the brussel sprout lollipop butlered hors d'oeuvres, the handmade guacamole station at cocktail hour, and our margarita signature cocktail. The venue, food and esthetic did not disappoint! Highly recommend JDK Catering and Weddings by JDK for your wedding at The Bond or elsewhere!

We hired JDK for our florals for the wedding. We had Colton and he was wonderful! I had a really hard time in the beginning trying to put my vision into words and he worked with me and my maid of honor to get what I was looking for. The results speak for themselves- Look at the pictures! He even helped me find alternatives within my vision to keep us as close to budget as possible. Everything was perfect!

My husband and I choose The JDK Group to cater our wedding on October 24th 2021 and we were not disappointed! We had the pleasure of working with Lexi from inception to execution and the night could not have turned out better.

From the beginning, Lexi was very communicative. She was able to give me answers to all my questions and offered suggestions and alternatives to make sure that we would receive the service we had dreamed of for our wedding while keeping in mind our vision and budget.

Lexi and the team were really flexible when needed, problem solved when issues arrived out of their control (on the day of without worrying the bride and groom!), and made sure that everyone was taken care of. The night ran smoothly without much communication with myself or my husband on the day of so we could enjoy the night.

We also loved that we were able to work with Chef Jay to create and customize our own dinner menu for the wedding which we really loved. Our family and friends raved about the food!

I do not have the words to describe the absolute incredible service provided by the Wedding at JDK team. I’ve had compliments after compliments regarding the organization, timeliness, and friendliness of all the staff throughout my wedding weekend. They were all so kind and made sure we didn’t miss out on a single detail over the course of the weekend.

Michelle worked with us for over two years through planning a wedding, cancelling and rescheduling it to another weekend due to COVID-19, putting together a quick micro-wedding ceremony, and finally re-planning and executing the most amazing wedding weekend. From start to finish, her bubbly and bright personality made the process so enjoyable and easy. There was never a time wherein I couldn’t contact her to talk through a million details of our two-day wedding event. She is an angel, and I couldn’t recommend her more.

Colton and his team put together our reception, our ceremony space, and a second reception beyond my wildest dreams. I was awestruck every single time I walked into a new space and saw his work. The space was beautiful itself, but every detail he added from the gorgeous greens to the lit candles made it even more magical.

We are so glad we chose JDK for our wedding. The beef tenderloin was the best we EVER had (made by Anna) and lots of compliments were given regarding the timeliness, organization, and friendliness of the servers. They not only excelled at making our day perfect, they were professional, patient, and easy to reach for my numerous questions. Lexi is a wonderful employee!
