The Kitchen Shoppe reviews
9Great cooking demonstration. Mushroom soup with puff pastry ribbon. Filet mignon with frizzled shallots, roasted potato with herbs, and roasted tomatoes. Lemon souffle for dessert. Excellent. I highly recommend The Kitchen Shoppe.
This business is a great place for anyone who likes to cook & bake. They have every tool you could ever want or need for your kitchen. If you love to cook this is the place for you! They even offer cooking classes by respected chefs. The array of kitchen tools is absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend The Kitchen Shoppe at all cooking levels. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their products too.
Lot's of stuff to see. Lots of good spices, sauces, and a lg selection of olive oil and flavored vinegars. Bring your empty bottle back and you can try a different flavors. Great Christmas gift for someone who loves to cook
I LOVE all the kitchen products you can purchase here. I especially love the maple-wood smoked bacon infused olive oil & the caramelized garlic infused olive oil.
Large selection of kitchen and grilling items all reasonably priced. Employees are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.
Wide selection of products, friendly staff, great cooking classes, convenient hours, plenty of parking
Did a cookie decorating class. It was $59 to water decorate 4 cookies. No technique or instructions on how to do anything. I have made better decorated cookies by mistake. Horrible horrible horrible. How can you sleep at night charging that kind of money for what you did. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will never do another class there.
Shop is nice, but don’t do the paid lunch or dinner demonstration. $79 is way too much for what you get. Maybe we are spoiled from A Chef’s Kitchen in Williamsburg, VA, but this just wasn’t worth the money. The food wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t what I would expect for that price. The people who serve you are volunteers and while they are nice people they are not professional servers. One took my plate away and essentially threw the silverware back down in front of me. Most places that charge $79/person would bring you new silverware for your next course.
Nice people, but they need to go have a meal/cooking demonstration at A Chef’s Kitchen in Williamsburg to learn how it should be done.
