The Koop: Korean Chicken and Cuisine reviews
15Nice little place. We had the fried chicken and it was quite good, same for the fish waffles (forget the name). It's a nice place. Another customer was having some soup and the smell hit me after I ate. It made me hungry again, which is a good sign. We will be back again.
The young girl working the register was talking to me as if I was dumb. When I tried to explain I wanted a side of ranch she said my wings already had sauce on them and laughed in my face. How are you laughing at me when you’re the one who is confused? I paid way too much to be laughed at. Will not be returning since my business is so hilarious.
The food here is absolutely delicious! The workers are very kind as well, and the atmosphere here is also great! If you visit, don’t forget to write something on the wall in the dining room.
I had a disappointing experience at "The Koop. " While the owner tried to be accommodating, the overall customer service was subpar. We ordered boneless wings, emphasizing our preference, but received bone-in wings with a watery sauce. The confusion might have been due to the late hour, but that doesn't excuse "very spicy" sauce tasting sweet and both sauces having a watery consistency. The atmosphere with writing on the walls is a positive aspect, but the lack of attention to orders and requests left a lot to be desired.
Everything about this place is awesome! The lady that served us at the counter was super friendly and even gave us some extra sides. The food was ready quickly and was hot. The food was high quality and the menu has tons of options, many Korean authentic meals/sides
Very nice customer service, great food, warm atmosphere. Recommend this spot for any person who enjoys eating Korean fried chicken.
The koop is the go to chicken spot at State College.the staff is always super nice and friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting.its a great sit down or takeout place, i would recommend it to anyone craving korean food or fried chicken in state college
The best Korean food restaurant in State College. Always provides a good food, especially fried chicken is delicious.
Mrs. Lee is the sweetest owner ever and the food is great. I highly recommend the korean corn dogs, fairly priced, filling, and so yummy.
Koop was my favorite fried chicken in town. Honestly the chicken is nothing beyond being decent, but you don't really have many choices of bone-in fried chicken in State College, so would recommend.
Great service and great food! Food also came out fast and the workers make great conversation when waiting for food!
Always love going here whenever i’m up at State College, the atmosphere feels very homey and the workers are always very nice. Bulgogi was delicious and they make their rice very well. Love u guys
We had yookaejang, K hot dog, ddukboki, fried chicken, and kimbop. And the taste was authentic and right on. As a Korean American, I was pleasantly surprised.
Absolutely love this place. Amazing customer service and very friendly atmosphere. Love the creativity and food.
The atmosphere was amazing. The food came out quickly and was warm. Will definitely come back again
