This review is for the avid golfers whom are willing to read an honest opinion. The course is overpriced, overrated, and under maintained. They should feel ashamed to charge $65 in the off-season, let alone their in-season rates. Several greens are in terrible shape, and most sand traps are unplayable. Several fairways have areas that are covered in tarps and under repair. The last time I played there was 2022 and they were recently under new management and were supposed to be doing major renovations and repairs to the course. That clearly isn't the case. You can spend less and play better conditioned courses in the area like Quail Valley, Flatbush, Briarwood, or The Bridges. Or spend roughly the same and play better courses such as Penn National or Carroll Valley for example. The list could go on and on. I'd suggest avoiding this course if you care at all about what you're paying for.

When I initially made the reservation, I had high hopes as I heard a lot of great things about this place. Then I noticed that there was no one at the course when we arrived on Saturday morning. We quickly found out why, as this course was one of the worst, if not THE worst condition that I ever played. Leaves were stacked on the fairway/green, fairways were mud after mud, bunkers had weed growing, and greens were in such a bad shape with patches everywhere. This course definitely does not worth 70+ dollars of your money. Find another golf course nearby and you will be happy that you didn't come to this place.

I don't even know where to start. What happened to this place? This was some of the worst conditions I've ever played in golf. PERIOD. There is literally no excuse to put out a product that poor and charge $90 for it. The fairways were so patchy I could barely find a decent lie. The bunkers were non existent. They either had no sand at all or had grass growing in them. Did you rake them once this year? The greens were like mine fields. You guys should shut this place down and figure something out fast. It's a disaster.

Look forward to playing this course every year on golf trip, unfortunately this year I feel compelled to share my dreadful experience. It's rare that I encounter a course so poorly maintained and managed.

First and foremost, the condition of the fairways was appalling. They were more like patchy dirt paths than proper fairways. Bare spots were a common sight, and the uneven terrain made it feel like you were navigating a minefield. It's as if the groundskeeper had completely given up on any form of maintenance.

The greens were equally disastrous. Putting became a test of luck rather than skill, with more divots and bumps than I've ever seen on a golf course. It was like putting on a lunar landscape, and it certainly did not make for an enjoyable round of golf.

I wouldn't wish a round of golf at this course on my worst enemy. It's a disgrace to the sport and an insult to those who genuinely love and appreciate the game. Save yourself the frustration and find a golf course that actually values its players and invests in maintaining a respectable course. This place has tutned into a golfing nightmare, and I won't be returning anytime soon.

Played September 30th, and the course was in horrible shape. No sand in the traps looks like an a ATV ran through the fairways, and they charged full prices. Despicable.

Played 9/9/23, $100 round. The course conditions were absolutely abysmal. Bee infestation all around the clubhouse, starter station, and parking lot. I can’t believe they were charging folks full price. Played a round the previous two years and it was fantastic. Was very disappointed with my experience this time around.

In all my years of playing the Links, I have never seen the course in such poor condition.
This use to be a real gem in great condition.
Now-Crusty greens, rutted fairways with standing water, traps with weeds but no sand.
Recommend the course be closed until rehabbed.

Absolute waste of not only money but time. The fairway is either burnt to hell or destroyed. Played on a Friday morning for $63 wouldn’t even pay $40 for it. The best part of the round was when it was over. Never coming back, take your business elsewhere.

We had a very nice time visiting for a friend's wedding reception, and all of their catering and event staff were exceptionally nice and on the ball. The atmosphere is nice with a view of the tree line beyond and some of the golf course. Our friend also sprung for some fireworks for everyone! Obviously not included, but a nice thing that the location allows:)

Played it on September 12th and it's in terrible shape. Dogtrap comes to mind! Go somewhere else!

Rated regarding last trip only. Honestly, the only reason it's not 1 star is because all the trips here last season were great. I've been to the links 3 times this year, and each time, the shape of the course was progressively worse. Todays conditions were ATROCIOUS. Fairways and tee boxes were completely garbage. I was extremely disappointed, I told my dad how much i liked the course, bought him a gift cert.and took him today. I was EMBARRASSED to have brought him there today. The staff, everyone there is great but the course conditions were near unplayable. If it were a cheap course, I wouldn't complain and just move on, but it's nearly $100 a round. The way it looked today, I wouldn't have paid $25 to play there. I took a few pictures that show it's not an exaggeration, the entire back 9 and half of the front. I dont even think those were some of the worst spots. The tee boxes and fairways were awful, bunkers were hard, full of rocks, one or two full of water, weeds, and just not maintained. Sorry guys, the layout is one of my favorite courses, but I can't pay to play anywhere looking like that.

It's a nice course, I've seen better conditions in the past tho. We don't mind driving two hours to play here since our overall experience was wonderful in the past.   But this time it was disappointing!   Upon arrival, we were greeted by a cart ranger who helped us load our bags and he was very polite.   Once in the pro shop, we noticed many attractive items on sale and we were told that the pro shop closes at 6: 30 pm so we would have plenty of time to shop after our round.   We came in after golf for dinner and the food staff were professional and sweet. This is approximately 5 pm.   Here's the downfall. Mr. Hugh running the pro shop advised us that the register is closed and unable to make further transactions.   If this was the case, that's fine.   The way Mr. Hugh spoke to us and to my guests from out of town, it was totally unacceptable.   You do not talk to customers that way or any human being period!   Was it because of our race?   Was he having a bad experience at work?   Did he come to work having a bad fight with his spouse?   I don't know. I'm a retired law enforcement officer, served our community for 25 years. I never treated or spoke to even criminals the way Mr. Hugh spoke to us yesterday.   Only Mr. Hugh and God knows why he acted the way he did.   I was so embarrassed in front of my guest since I spoke so highly of the golf course and the excellent services I received in the past.   Unfortunately, we all left the course with bad taste in our mouth due to Mr. Hugh. I will still give 3 stars since the course is nice and other staffs were friendly.

Conditions were not good. Course seems to have been overwatered. Fungus overtaking the fairways. Greens were wet and slow when others in the area were running firm and fast.

Played in Arizona during August and courses were in great condition. Just played Links yesterday and the course was in poor condition. Fairways were hard packed and in many areas no grass. Tee boxes were shaggy and beat up. 18th green burnt with huge cracks in the ground begging for water. Paying full rate under these conditionals are inexcusable when management knows the course conditions. Discounts can help golfers understand expectations. I expected more form Links of Gettysburg after driving up from MoCo.

We really like the challenges that this course's layout offers during the round. I think it is reasonably priced. I recommend this course. Just remember, move up a tee if you're a high handicapper (greater than 15) to have fun AND enjoy the challenges.

I've played here before, but this time was a hole new experience. Bunkers full of water and 90% of them not taken care of and next the fairways are burnt up. The course is in poor condition. For $89 for a round I got screwed. And my playing partners felled the same way

Took a group of 12 to play golf there yesterday. Course is in very POOR condition, don't know what's happening there but its certainly not the course it used to be. Very troubling. It used to be one of the best golf courses in the tri-state area. NO More.

Not worth the $ to play. The fairways were bare and many of the bunkers had more grass than sand. Do not recommend.

My husband golfed here with friends and an acquaintance from out of town. We had golfed here before and the course was nice and in good condition BUT this time it was very disappointing. Not sure what happened but the greens were not in good shape and the sand traps were not maintained! The were weeds growing in the traps and the grass around the traps was ratty. If you think you are coming to a nice course you may want to reconsider as it is not worth the price they are charging!

Great service from the moment you pull in! Talk about a tough course for any seasoned golfer. Right near the battlefields with great scenic views! Good cheeseburgers and nice selection of alcholhol.
