By far, the best place to have any event. The most professional staff and the best food … ever. If I could give more stars, I would.

There are no words to describe how amazing our wedding was. From the day we toured the venue until the final minute of our wedding, everything was perfect and ran smoothly. Our coordinator was Sharon, and she is AMAZING. She made sure we were on track the entire time and answered all of our questions so fast. Our day was perfect, and a huge part of that is because of Sharon and the Lodge team.

The food is to die for! We were so full and couldn’t even finish our meals- it really is that good. We are already talking about coming back to the cabins for an anniversary weekend because they are so cozy and private. Also, the orchard is the best place for an after party! It was private and allowed us to continue celebrating all night.

I could write a book on how the Lodge exceeded my expectations, but it would never end. We really could not have imagined a better venue to celebrate our marriage!

Great venue for events. Great ambiance and they take good care of vendors. I had the best chicken so far at this venue as you can tell from the photos.

The weather was perfect in early June I remember running a few things up to the Orchard first thing in the morning and getting to see the chairs set up outside for our reception. It was picture perfect, as was my bride! ;)

The staff was on point and they were serving the most delicious food! It was hard to stop eating.

Everyone working there during our event were extremely helpful with accommodating to us and our guests.

We loved the Lodge! My fiance and I were looking for a venue with on-sight accommodations, which is what brought us to the Lodge. Working with Sharon was amazing as she helped us every step of the way and made sure our wedding day moved like clockwork. She is a true professional and expert. This was the night before our ceremony BUT there was a freak storm that ripped up trees and blocked roads all around the venue, and my family was trying to get in/out for rehearsal dinner. The Lodge maintenance crew were absolute all stars and got out there to clear trees from the roads in a flash. Back to the wedding - we had a modified vision for the ceremony and the Lodge helped make it happen. Everyone really liked the food, and the location was perfect for our families. Oh and the wait staff/bar tenders are all awesome! I only have good things to say. We also had our after party at the Orchard, a super cool location on site. Our guests loved the bonfire vibe for keeping the party going. During the weekend my cousins took the rowboats out, and both our dads were able to go fishing. I might be reviewing more of Mountain Springs Lake Resort than just the Lodge but I only have good things to say about everything.

I have too many good things to say about Mountain Springs than I can type in this review. My husband and I got married in July and everything was truly perfect. Sharon was our coordinator and she was amazing. She walked us through every step of the process and kept us on track. She was organized, responsive, excellent communication - I would send her tons of emails and she always got back to me same day - and just an overall kind person and great person to work with. She thought of everything and I never even felt stressed with the planning process. Seriously, Mountain Springs takes care of everything for you. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Most of our guests stayed on property and Nadine was also fantastic to work with. The cabins are gorgeous and cozy and all of our guests raved about them. The food was incredible - I got so many compliments on the food, many saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. And the best thing about Mountain Springs is that they take care of the food, bar, and cake, so you don't have to get any outside vendors for that. They had great recommendations for our other vendors too. We chose them all from their list (our DJ, photographers, Florist, and Hair/Makeup) and they were all amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience from when we started planning a year and half ago to the big day itself. It was the best day of my life!

How about with the food…I had heard people say the Lodge’s food was great, but holy moly they were not lying! First of all, there was SO MUCH food. We chose the buffet option which was served family style at the tables. We had mac & cheese, onion crusted chicken, vegetable lasagna, and a couple other options. Every dish was amazing. Everyone we talked to during the evening remarked how full they were because they ate their fill and there were leftovers. The next thing people said was how delicious that food was. Months later, guests are still telling us about how great our wedding food was. Every hors d’oeurve was top notch too! The staff even made sure that my husband and I got a platter with samples of each hors d’oeurve at our sweetheart table just in case we missed one during cocktail hour. I thought that was very thoughtful. Service throughout the night was excellent as well.
The scenery at the Lodge is gorgeous in any season. We got married in June, but we had meetings all throughout the year on the property and it was beautiful all year round. There are so many spots for photos and we were able to take full advantage of the lake for our wedding photos. And speaking of meetings…the staff at the Lodge was excellent to work with. From our first tour to the moment we waved goodbye, they were nothing but gracious, helpful, kind, and supportive. We worked with Sharon who helped us to plan all the details-big and small. She always made me feel like I was her only client even though I obviously was not! Meetings felt like a conversation with a friend instead of like a formality. She treated us with loads of patience while I asked a ton of questions and while I figured out exactly the way I wanted things to go during our wedding day. Sharon guided me into what would work best, and she was right at every turn. She made sure the day was perfect from beginning to end and she was very easy to communicate with.
I will tell everyone I meet how glad I was that we chose the Lodge for our wedding. It was worth every penny, and I know it was the exact right choice for us.

My now-husband and I toured THIRTEEN other wedding venues before finding The Lodge, and as soon as we stepped into the space, I knew that was "the one. "

The outdoor ceremony space is quiet and secluded—no road noise or random passersby. The reception space has huge windows framing the trees and tall ceilings, so I knew that, even if it had rained, being indoors would feel spacious and airy.

A huge draw for us was having the cabins along the main lake, which gave us the opportunity to stay on-site with our families and the bridal party and made attending the wedding much easier for out-of-town and older guests. We were especially delighted that some guests took the opportunity to stay for the whole weekend, which meant not just six fleeting hours but real quality time with loved ones that we may not see as often.

On top of that, the food was delicious—appetizers, entrees, and dessert; many guests told us it was the best wedding food they've had!

The staff are attentive to all the planning details, and were especially kind to make accommodations for family with health issues. Sharon in particular took great care in executing our perfect wedding day, and we are so grateful!

Thank goodness we continued our venue search until we found The Lodge!

If you want a five-star wedding experience, book the Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake. The grounds of the property are gorgeous, it truly is a hidden gem in the Poconos. Sharon, the venue coordinator, makes the process of planning a wedding easy and is beyond an added bonus of booking the venue – her expertise is irreplaceable. Her organization and attention to detail is unmatched. While you are planning, she helps guide you on things you would have never thought of. During the wedding weekend, Sharon takes all of the responsibilities off your plate – from the rehearsal, set up and tear down so all you have to do is enjoy the moment. In addition to Sharon, every single staff member at MSL went above and beyond. The servers beginning at our tasting to wedding night were excellent and extremely friendly. The food was even better than I could have imagined, many people commented it was the best food at a wedding they had ever had – you could cut every single steak with a butter knife. The Orchard is the perfect, low key setting for an after party after an upscale reception. Our guests commented how our wedding felt “so us” – it truly was the perfect weekend. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. My husband and I can’t wait to come back and visit year after year!

Went to the Faith Christian School Gala had a wonderful time with great food, service, and an amazing venue beautifully set on the side of a small lake.

I filmed a wedding at this venue and it was lovely! The staff was amazing and helpful and the grounds are amazing and well kept! Highly recommend to all future couples looking for a wedding venue!

The Lodge was the first wedding venue that my husband and I toured. From the moment we drove onto the property and walked into the Lodge for the first time, we were blown away. It is absolutely gorgeous! The large floor to ceiling windows provide beautiful natural lighting and make you feel like you are outdoors. Following our tour, we immediately booked our wedding date and canceled all future tours with other venues. We knew it was THE ONE. Our coordinator, Sharon, was absolutely wonderful! She was super responsive to all of our emails and truly a blessing as she helped make our wedding dreams a reality. She relieved so much of our stress and really made our wedding day run smoothly allowing us to enjoy every second of our big day. The food at the Lodge is the best I've ever had at a wedding. It is all so delicious, cooked to perfection, and displayed beautifully. They also have SO many unique choices on the menu. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and how much they loved the venue, food, music, and service. I truly cannot say enough good things about the Lodge. I would choose this venue over and over and over again.

Went there for a wedding and we had a great time and the staff was great and the food was awesome. All in all it was a wonderful time.

No words can really explain the awesome time we had in our Son wedding. This venue is unbelievable and the staff there was incredible. Very attentive to all things making sure everyone was satisfied. Again this venue and staff were awesome. 5 stars in my book.

I was there for an event for The Amber Louise Elchert Foundation. Set up was very easy to navigate tables. The food was delicious. And the bathrooms were very clean. The outside is beautiful.

The owner is such a pleasant woman, who really understands the importance of the service industry and of going above and beyond for her visitors. The vast, rolling campus is located in the heart of the Poconos yet just tucked away enough to be private and quiet - a major contrast to the crowds and craziness of places like Kalahari and Great Wolf. This facility is run by folks who love the property, and who love what they do. Strongly recommend.
