This secluded historic garden is just a block from Washington Square Park and 2nd Bank, and next to St. Mary's church and cemetery. It is free, open to the public and dog-friendly. We spotted 5 different varieties of magnolia (didn't know George Washington was a magnolia enthusiast). The fountain was dry but there was ample shady seating around this little park.

Was ok. Not much to see. A small garden.
Not a fun park to visit at other season but may be ok when flower blossom.
