The Main Freeze, Lansdale PA

Although closed for the winter (sadly!), we made several trips to Main Freeze over the warmer months, particularly for their delicious vegan ice cream flavors! It was so nice to have some options (including coconut whipped cream!) and the prices are truly unbeatable. The pup cup was my dog's favorite treat! He loved eating all of the ice cream first then saving the treat for last.:) Can't wait until they reopen next year!

Not only is it great ice cream and water ice, it’s at a really good price. This place is a no-brainer if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat!

What a gem of a scoop shop! High quality, local ice creams, friendly service, great pricing. The Italian ice (I had watermelon) had the most AMAZING creamy texture and I really appreciated the vegan (Tofutti) options for my dairy and egg allergic son. My only complaint was that there is only one bench to sit on, which I was lucky to snag with my toddler in tow. I’m not sure if they own the lot to the left, but it would be great if they set up a picnic table or two there.

This is the BEST local ice cream shop in Lansdale that you can walk to if you live around Main Street.

I always get the medium hard scoop chocolate ice cream on a cake cone. It’s $4.00 and the scoops are HUGE!
They have many different Premium hard scoop flavors - Emmaus Pa to change it up. Vegan scoops from Tofutti Tofu and Italian Ice from Via Venetian - Norriston Pa.
Then you have the usual specialties like banana split, soft serve flavors and shakes.
Prices are fantastic for their deliciousness and service.
Location is so simple. It’s situated in between the Mexican restaurant and Hollywood Nails on Main Street.
It’s super small but so adorable little nook that they have. Try Main Freeze and you’ll probably agree.

How did I not know about this place? ! The ice cream and water ice are SO CREAMY, the portions are more generous than anywhere else I’ve gone, and yet the prices are the lowest! Their ice cream comes from Emmaus and there’s quite a variety of flavors. I was delighted to see several vegan options as well! There are a plethora of toppings for any combo.
I had a “small” Gelatti with vanilla soft serve and lemon water ice (which was real lemon – no artificial color) and it was phenomenal! It also came in a 10oz Solo cup and was twisted WAY over the top. All that for $4! I highly recommend The Main Freeze!

Living in Lansdale for more than 3 years I can honestly say this is one of the best ice cream establishments I’ve ever known. This family owned and operated Ice cream shop provides a sense of community like no other. The portion sizes for the prices they charge are fair and generous. They are always so happy to serve you and do anything to make your experience memorable. The Main Freeze is truly an amazing representation of a community business that is supported by the community on an unprecedented level. Before I go, the Italian ice they have is definitely worth trying, if I had to stand in a line for two hours to get it I would. It’s so rich and it creamy (even though it’s not made with cream!) it truly brings you satisfaction. I would highly recommend coming here to enjoy a treat with your family, your significant other, or by yourself whichever you decide you’ll always be satisfied.

Delicious ice cream, great variety, including Italian ice, yoghurt ice, fruit, vegan ice cream.

Tried to visit, service was so slow the line didn't move and after 10 minutes we gave up and left.

Soooooo delicious! I haven't had a banana split since Friendly's and this one was so fabulous. Just get one. You know you want to.

Great place! The serving sizes were perfect, they had so many options for toppings, offer both hand dipped and soft serve.

The individuals working the window were super nice and polite to us as we decided what we wanted.

While out for a ride in upper Montgomery County to see some Spring time scenery, we found this ice cream place during our drive home. The selection of ice creams was outstanding and they even had soft serve custard twist. Everyone in the family enjoyed their selection.

They are always so sweet and considerate. I've been going there for at least 7 years and they have continually improved and been a staple of the community. Supporting local businesses is so important now and this is one I will definitely recommend and continue to support.

The Main Freeze is absolutely the BEST! The Ice Cream is incredible and the people who work there are truly wonderful. So nice and genuine! Awesome!
