The Markets at Shrewsbury reviews
11This is the Amish market at Shrewsbury. Every type of produce is fresh and local. Do not be afraid to have a conversation with any of the Amish men or ladies. They are very nice to speak with and you always get a smile. Don't forget to visit the meat section they have the best selection. And you have got to try the best sub sandwich's around. If you are with a tour bus passing from Baltimore to Harrisburg or on your way to Lancaster and travel on Interstate route 83 going north, ask your bus driver or whoever sets up your tour to include a stop at The Markets of Shrewsbury. You won't be disappointed. Lots of hand made items, gifts, Amish furniture and good food. Just awesome people to speak with.
The cinnamon sticks at the pretzle bakery are irresistible! You get 6 for only $3.50. Its enough for 3 people in case you want to share. Mine were fresh out of the oven. Don't forget the napkins.
Really nice collection of small stalls/shops. The pretzel was really good but we were too full from an earlier meal to try other goods, we will likely come back to try the baked goods and other foods.
This place is huge. So many great food options. They also have a furniture store, log cabin homes, sheds, gazebo and more. It's like an adult playground
We absolutely love this place. Everything there is amazing. The pretzel place, has the best pizza pretzel roll ups. Brickers will hand cut your fries and make them to order. The coffee place has the best coffee. There is a candy store, an ice cream shop, a bulk foods shop. And the sweet shop has the best doughnuts I’ve ever tasted. My only suggestion is to check your foods if you go to the meat department. We were looking to buy some cheese, and it was moldy. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, you need to check this place out.
AMAZING food. Got a veggie sub and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Top 3 sandwiches of my life! Lovely staff and chill, cozy vibes.
Food ooks goodbye the amish stuff way over priced. I saw a bag of pretzels that 6 in walmart they sell for 9.and even fruit and veggies overpriced. I shop for non gmo stuff but geeez.
Pickles! Produce! Potatoes! (Had to fit another p in there, lol) My family loves going there when we're up visiting. He humans are always friendly, the food is wonderfully fresh, and I highly suggest the horseradish pickles.
Great stop off of interstate 83. Great furniture store (Amish made). Bakery and meat market are very good. Produce is the best. The craft store is nice to walk through. This is a good place to visit.
This place is wonderful! Delicious food and nice workers. Such a variety of things to buy. Amish owned.
The girl said the baked goods come frozen and they defrost and sell them. So don't think you're getting anything fresh. Also they don't take the time to pick sweet fruit to cut up and place in containers. They give you anything. The fruit is not sweet. Garbage. The only thing that's good is the soft pretzels but they have a bunch of kids running it.
