The Oaks Theater, Oakmont PA

The Oaks Theater was very nice. Perfect small venue. Came for Dr. Cyril Wecht, outstanding talk and great setting.

Great venue! Had a fun night with family & friends! Great to see Mike Swindell, Justin Hackett & the element, and Vic & his crew!

I go here often. I just wish they would book Desperado back again. These guys are the greatest Eagles tribute band in the area

Had my daughter's graduation party here and it was the perfect venue. They were so helpful, especially on the day of when we needed a couple extra tables set up. We were able to play my daughter's favorite movie and everyone had a great time.

Worked here for a birthday party. I thought it was an Odd place for a birthday for a child but they played a movie on the big screen, they had activities for the kids plus facepaint (me) and a bar and food area outside of the theater itself. It was an old building and you could tell. I noticed that part of the floor looked like it was sinking in the lobby area but it was updated throughout and decorated nicely.

This is a wonderful venue. We recently saw Pittsburgh legend #BillyPrice and band here, and were impressed with the layout, and snacks/alcohol. Going to their website and viewing the upcoming events was welcoming and promising. If we lived closer, we’d definitely be here more often. A great first experience. A friend and I watched the Golden Girls Drag Game Show. The seats were comfy and the leg room was spacious.

Love this place! See a lot of old movies on the big screen. I buy all my tickets ahead of time. Whether you want to see a movie or a band, this local theater is fabulous!

I didn't get to attend due to the seating in the pit, the seats were cheap $5 fold chairs, being that I'm 6ft 5in I would never sit in a chair that small, it was a small child size chair and they were squeezed together very tight.so I left without seeing any of the show

Love this venue. They really know how to entertain! Great snack food and great bar. Really love how they make use of an old time theater to offer great events and shows.

Came to see a cinebreakfast with White Christmas. Was pleasantly surprised as to how not crowded it was, kudos to them for not selling every seat. Sandwiches were kind of cold but not much you can do about that when you mass order and have to bring them in for everyone. Will look to return for another event. Way bigger inside than expected.

My first experience here wasn’t a great one! We went for the cinerbrunch last weekend and there was some misunderstanding. We were the only ones that reserve a table so they had set our food there for us already. Got there, got the table, got our OJ (which was actually mimosa, which they had cups all lined up, we assumed it was the free OJ) realized that we didn’t have our breakfast sandwiches. So we walked down to the stage as there were multiple boxes with breakfast sandwiches. One of the workers came up to us and said we order the salad option, I said that’s not what we wanted and the website stated the salad would be a “add on”. Add on in my option is something you add on to your meal. She stated that our salad is our breakfast. I said I’m must have misunderstood your website. I spoke to the manager Jessica and asked if we can swap it out. She stated that everything they have was already spoken for. 5mins later she comes back and said they “found” some and we can have it for $10 each. I declined because I can go down to Oakmont bakery and get it for half the price (which we did after the show) The hashbrown that we did get was cold and not even edible. The yogurt was the only thing good and the donut was old. Then we find out the tea, juice and coffee were NOT included even though the website clear states it does! So I went to Jessica said my friend got charged for her coffee and I pulled up their website where it clearly states its included. She then with an attitude said well, it’s not but I will give you guys one round of drinks.
I left my untouched salad on the table with my umbrella and water bottle. When the movie was over and I went back to our reserved table, the salad was gone. I asked the bartender and she said we threw it away. I explained that I haven’t even touched the salad and was going to eat it for lunch! She said she’ll talk to her manager. Jessica said she will refund my ticket to the Drag bingo that following Friday as I had mentioned I will be attending that as well with a even bigger group. I still haven’t received a refund! I feel like this whole situation could have been handled better by the staff. We did attend the drag show bingo and it was ok. I’ve seen better shows. Unfortunately, I really like the events they are hosting and I’m part of a meetup group with close to 1500 ladies but I would not be hosting events here anymore because my first interaction with the staff wasn’t pleasant. If I didn’t already have the 8ladies buy tickets to the drag show, I would have cancelled the whole event.
I also wouldn’t do a cinebrunch here. They get the food from Oakmont bakery probably a few hours before the event so the sandwiches were probably cold anyways.

Went to see comedians Ginger Billy and Brandon Rainwater. The staffing and the whole event process was wonderful.

Came here to see Jake Shimabukuro the Ukulele player. It was an amazing facility. Clean and well maintained. Was my first time, and would easily return.

The bottom floor where restrooms are smell the same as it did 50yrs ago! Ugh did I say 50yrs! Me & my siblings went all time. Great memories. Nice ppl Nice bar clean. Prices are less then big theaters but high just the same. Skittles $3 Bud lite bottle $5. Great fun

We had such a great time, they go above and beyond. Very neat the way the whole place is set up. They have amazing staff, and really know how to have a great time.

Great location for big screen related events. Chairs are worn and not made for long uses. The auditorium is well done and taken care of otherwise. Bar and snack counter are fantastic.

The theater is beautiful and the staff is superb. No matter who you are you are sure to feel comfortable and included here. It is very easy to get in and out. I am disabled and I found it very easy to maneuver and get around.

If you plan to visit I highly recommend you choose a day when they are offering "Drag Queen Bingo"! It is so much fun regardless of how you identify. The "ladies' make sure that everyone has a good time. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and kind.

Parking can be a challenge so if you have a specific event I would recommend that you arrive early to get parking near the theater if you don't want to walk. Parking is on street, but the area is low crime so you will feel comfortable leaving your car unattended.

There is a variety of food available at the concession stand. And there is a variety of spirits available at the bar. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of healthy or gluten-free options if you are watching your waistline or looking for food allergen-free dining choices. But don't let that stop you from visiting because you'll really be missing out.
