I got married at The Old Mill on 9.15.23. The venue and staff were amazing. Conner catering did a great job!
Other reviews mirror the problem with this place that I’m expressing. What happened to us the day of our wedding felt like theft. Our wedding coordinators have worked with him frequently and were appalled by the end of the night. They honestly actually offered to host a 2nd smaller reception at their homes to make up for what happened to our day. I hope anyone reading this saves their special day from this and does not have their wedding at this venue. Its been almost 3 years since our wedding there and I feel no better about the place or the owner Donald Conner so now I’m happy to share that this guy is absolutely horrible. We have the happy memories of our wedding day that we could keep but a seriously sour taste and memory of that day because of this man. The wedding was a bait and switch. Lots of things promised, and everything changed the day of the wedding in the moment from what we wanted and what was agreed upon. He bait and switched us. Was so rude about everything the day of. He runs everything and is very involved in everything so there is no hope with him. Agreed upon a lot of things and then switched it all in the moment with a conniving smile on his face. He’s truly and honestly a horrible man. Not a good person at all. (I know some of his extended family and they agreed with me about this man after I told them what happened and how he ruined our wedding). A bait and switch in the moment for something as expensive as a wedding, in that moment you are helpless. It truly felt like theft. The saving grace for us was our amazing photographers. When we need to think fondly of our day, we look at our beautiful pictures and that’s what makes us smile
