The PA Market reviews
17This was a great place to eat. Multiple levels, great food, great drinks. Loved every part of it.
First time here, loved it! Atmosphere was great, food even better! Tried White Oak pizza-supreme, Carne Asada-spicy chicken Latin grain bowl, Pollo Asado; Taparia- birria. Espresso martini was a little on the sweet side for my taste. Wine Library served us pinot blanc at $14 glass +tip.
A friend and I went here last evening. This was our first time here and although we have been to other counter style/self service venues it would have been helpful had the hostess asked if we had been there before and done some explaining ie where the water was, silverware etc. We ended up finding a seat at the main upstairs bar. The male bartender did not greet us and proceeded to ask for orders and take orders from about 5 different males and other females who came up to the counter to order drinks and leave. We ended up leaving and heading to the wine bar once seats opened and had a much better experience. The food is good so thats why I gave 3 stars- service not so much.
Went here for a rehearsal dinner - the wine library was reserved for our group. The food and atmosphere was great!
Sitting above the strip, between Penn and Smallman this hidden oasis provides cool vibes and delicious food. There is something for everyone with unique shops and a variety of cuisine!
Cool concept. I would recommend that the management rework the table set up and have employees circulate to help patrons. Lines were long at each respective restaurant and a bit confusing.
The Strip District is often considered to be the most vibrant neighborhood in Pittsburgh, and it doesn't take long after a first visit to understand why
A sprawling two-story market with vendors on the first floor, a food hall on the second floor with several chef-driven restaurants and three bars (plus a wine library), and a gorgeous outdoor courtyard with even more food, vendors, and a bar.
Restaurants and businesses open in this neighborhood all the time, as you would expect,
The main floor has actually been open for quite some time and has larger floor plans for each of the shops. The courtyard at The Pennsylvania Market is accessible both from the entrance on 19th Street (where the stores are) as well as directly from 18th Street (where Primanti Brothers is).
We had snacks, wine, and beers - had a good time.
The Pennsylvania Market Has Something for Everyone – Literally.
Pizza place is bad. Mixing up orders. No apologies. Extreme long wait time.
Pizza itself is mediocre.
Ee love the place. My girlfriend Kim and I always go there. The pizza with chicken is so tasty and the grain bowl was great. I love the atmosphere. One of the main reasons we go back is cause we really like the bartender Rachel. She is really in the right business. So fortunate for PA Market to have her.
The upper floor is really cool, you have a variety of foods to pick from at different stations, and the central bar is great. Great vibe, I'll be back
Delicious food and a lot of variety. Ambiance was really relaxed and chill on a Thursday night in August. Wine Library is a little pricey, but entirely worth it. The sommelier was a great guy and had excellent recommendations.
The food, atmosphere, and service was wonderful! I would definitely return. It is a place like no other. You would enjoy yourself!
Wonderful place for a group gathering. Several delicious food options, and 2 bars for delicious drinks in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Come early to grab a comfy seat by the windows!
Pleasant space, with tons of seating style options - lounges, tables, bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent pizza and beer/wine options
In the event that you make it to this place, look up Samira the bartender, who is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely amicable. It's a classy joint, with classy people. Check it out.
This place is amazing! Food, especially the garden pizza and seasoned fries were INCREDIBLE.will be back again asap.still drooling.bartender was great and very friendly.slayed boots and house
I've been here several times ever since they opened and have never had a bad experience! It's perfect for any occasion. I love the wide variety of "restaurants" they have.every person in your party is sure to find something they will love (burgers, pizza, tapas, charcuterie.etc). The wine bar is a very cool spot and I love the newest coffee addition for doing work or reading. It's the perfect spot whether you're going out for happy hour, a girls night or date night! The outside area is also great for grabbing a drink while shopping in the strip on a Saturday.
