The Pavilion at Montage Mountain reviews
29Very cool venue with ample lawn seating available. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house when you come here!
Went to see Jason Aldean was a great show, really enjoyed our time there but those hill are hell to get back to your car. Be prepared to get a lot of exercise bc you are down inside of a mountain, the show was incredible but you have to be careful about trying to get back to your vehicle, between the ppl being drunk and traffic going every direction possible. It was a very nice place to visit, just know what I am in for next time I go and I do plan on going there again sometime.
The parking is terrible! Miss most of the concert but once I got to the front I was a happy camper!
Great venue once inside. The parking lot is a war zone. I can't believe there isn't a slew of law suits from people falling and crashing their cars. Then again, maybe there are. I would travel to another venue to avoid the parking lot. It's to bad. This could really be a gem.
Beautiful place to see a concert! You're surrounded by trees and there's plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Free parking is a plus but beware - sometimes you have to walk a bit to get to the venue. Food choices are solid and there's plenty of beer stands. Bathrooms are ok but there's not many so the lines can get long. All of the seats offer a good view and most are covered in case it's very sunny or it rains. The lawn can be comfortable but if the weather is tough, there's no shelter. And when there's a big crowd, you have to deal with being surrounded by a sea of humanity.
Hi i recently went to a concert here, a lot of drunk people but that was probably because it was heavy metal.
Great atmosphre, beer is expensive and you might smell some stuff but everyone seems cool, even standing at lawn is ok
Most outside places have big video screens so those on the lawn can get a close up look. Not this joint.
Parking is hard and all drinks / food way over priced. Doesn't draw any good bands like it used to. Bethel Woods is a way better venue
Ridiculous prices for good & beverages. Terrible access to parking.plan to arrive 3 hours before the opening band of you want to actually see them. Grounds keeping and port a potty' s were terrible and unkempt.
Nice outback location, but beer costs 3X more than anywhere else so BYOB. Don't sit on the wood railing, but you can smash and break skulls.
Music was amazing, but the fact that there's one way in and out makes logistics extremely frustrating.
Something needs to be done about the system of discharging all of the cars after the show. We didn't move for 40 min.
The venue is nice
Nice atmosphere. However, the concert would have been a whole better if the rude people didnt stand on their seats the whole time.and the food and drink didnt take an extremely long wait, cost a fortune, and wasnt all that good!
One of my favorite places for concerts. I have yet to have a bad seat and have attended over 20 concerts here over the years. Parking can get tricky, so leave plenty of time in case you need to park in the lower lot and take the shuttle bus up the mountain. Prices are what you would expect for a concert venue, tailgate if it is an issue. You can usually always bring in an unopened water bottle.
We had a terrible experience this time. Our concert, although listed as an all weather event, was delayed due to bad weather. We were made to park in a satellite lot and take a bus to the venue, but were not allowed to get off of the bus. We were bused back to the lot and made to wait in the rain for an hour. After 3 hours of being given the run around and never getting to go to the venue, we left without seeing any of the concert.
Pray it doesn't rain on a night of your show. We spent 3 hours sitting on the hill. One road in, one road out.
The lawn was mud and smelled like beer but Van Morrison had a flawlessly cool performance and Lucas Nelson just Conquered the blues. Plus had a selfish with Willy. No major traffic but it is a Hike back to the lot. Should have trams or golf cart s for old stern that go to willy Nelson concerts. Seriously, a couple of folks were holding their chests and gasping for breath on way out.
I went to see you Willie Nelson and Susan Tedeschi and Van Morrison only reason it's getting 3 stars is because of the musicians the sound systems sucked for everybody that was sitting in the lawn seats the outer speakers that are on the Pavilion itself work temporarily for Susan Tedeschi then on and off for Van Morrison and then didn't work at all for Willie Nelson and to top it all off Willie Nelson only played for an hour I understand the guy is 85 years old but really not even an encore
