OMG, like a child in a candy store. This was so awesome to walk in and see the variety of items, there's not many bakeries anymore. This is definitely a yes place to come back.

Came in here on my birthday to get myself a cupcake. Between the 3 of us, this is what we got. I got the stuffed cookie, the loaded brownie, and the cupcake. 10/10. They were amazing. Best cookie I’ve ever had. My son got the cannoli and the cream puff. He enjoyed them both, but figured out he doesn’t really like creme puffs in general. The man got the coconut cake, pumpkin cannoli, and another kind of cake. He stated he wasn’t a fan of their cakes (but he loved my cookie). I’m giving this place 5 stars because everything that I got myself, was amazing. I would definitely go back again to try some more things.

The selection and quality is second to none. It’s a shame the customer service doesn’t match. Been here three times and there won’t be a fourth. Every time I’ve come in I feel rushed and the people come across snooty and act as if I’m holding up their life. You have so many wonderful things there, is a person allowed to look and shop or are we expected to just know what we want, but it and get out?

Hidden Fees & Lack of Transparency

Stay away if you prefer dealing with honest businesses!

I wanted to get a special cake for my daughter's upcoming birthday, and I thought The Pennsylvania Bakery would be the perfect choice. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it with other parents who might be considering their services.

I called the bakery to order the cake, and I was told there would be a three-day window for making changes. Little did I know, my plans would change. Less than 24 hours I had to cancel the order, only to be hit with a 15% cancellation fee that was never mentioned during the initial call. And here's the kicker – when I spoke to the manager about how shady this felt since they haven't even started the order, they turned the tables on me, blaming me for "not understanding their policy. "

As a mom who's just trying to make her little one's birthday special, this whole experience has left me frustrated. The lack of transparency about the cancellation fee and the manager's unwillingness to see how this could be seen as misleading and is disheartening.

The Coconut Milk Cake is AMAZINGGGG! We can never leave without spending a fortune and it's worth every bite! Thank you

Great bakery with wonderful items and a special staff that take great care selecting the perfect item and packing them well. My problem may have been fixed since my visit, but the prices were blacked out on the identification cards, so things were priceless, or price less. Really is it that you shouldn't care how much it costs, because you could live without it if it was too much? When I enquired about an item, the helper had to look up the price. Custom cakes looked amazing and special cupcakes would make such wonderful treats for young visitors.

Tried it cause my husband really wanted a peanut butter filled donut from them. So many pastry options and really good. Will definitely use them for catering

Tried one of their breakfast sandwiches for the first time- delicious and huge! "Pep in your step" may be my new favorite!

This place has very good desserts and a variety. I came here to get a birthday cake for my wife and it took a me bit to decide because of the variety. The people are friendly and helpful if you know what you're looking for.
The only thing that might confuse you is that they have a ticket system for serving customers. I tend to over think things, especially a system I am not used to. I thought "what if I haven't made a decision yet, " but I think the ticket number just assigns an employee to help you. So if you haven't made a decision by the time it's called, it's okay if you're not ready.
It is on the pricier side, but you get great quality. Definitely recommend for special occasions.

Have bought many items from here since we found them a couple of months ago. The sugar cookies are my favorite! Just the right amount of crunch and the taste is awesome, icing is great also. We just had them make a cake for us and wow they didn’t disappoint! It was yellow cake mix with raspberry filling and extra flowers. Very beautiful and the flavor was out of this world. They have some great decorators and know what they are doing. Good details in the icing. The also have some very good breads they baked. The mozzarella and pepperoni bread is great. Pepperoni has just a hint of spice and they put a good amount of mozzarella in it. Bread itself has just the right amount of denseness to it and a slight crunch. Perfect! Do not be in a rush when you go in! It’s usually pretty busy and a lot of people milling around. Just grab a number and peruse the merchandise. If you check them out on FB you will be able to see the specialty items they have on each day. Gives you a good heads up to look for them. Warning… it’s really easy to go overboard in purchasing! Firstly, this place is one of the most visited cake shops in the area. They have a variety of sweets and desserts to choose from. Secondly, I have tried cakes and cupcakes, from here and I am not very fond of them. I keep trying different things here but I don't get the "Wow" feeling.also they are pricey.

You walk in and are greeted right away or at least I was.place is big and very clean they have a lot to choose from as far as pastries and Italian cookies and cakes. I personally was searching out cannolis as to my favorite Italian place closing and I tried just one to see and I have to admit I am very sorry to say but I was very disappointed.

I have been to Pennsylvania Bakery twice and each time I have been overwhelmed with the variety of baked goods. On the whole, their baked goods are outstanding however, on my most recent visit I had a slice of tiramisu and was rather disappointed. The cake wasn't as moist as others I've had but that's the only time the bakery disappointed me.

Think of any baked good and chances are they make it. Excellent pastries and cinnamon rolls.

Their cakes are delicious, but applying a 15% cancellation fee for a custom cake that was cancelled within 15 minutes of ordering rubs me the wrong way. No chance that had any impact on their operation worth that fee.

Great selection of cakes and cookies plus some pie as well as coffee. Big wedding cake display and idea book.

This place makes some of the best creations! They donate to our school constantly and are always a pillar in the community! The baked goods are delicious, and they have such a variety of options. The staff is always so friendly, kind and caring!

Ordered the vegan cake for my 30th birthday. It looked pretty, was designed exactly how I wanted it, and they were able to take my order last minute. The cake was horrible. The texture wasn't soft and fluffy, but was more like cornbread. The icing was.so-so. No one wanted seconds, $75 bucks down the drain. I bake as well, and it's pretty easy to make a soft vegan cake. Was disappointed.

Its my first visit here and I don't know if I will go back. The cakes, cookies, and other baked good all look amazing but the staff is lacking. I had an order prepaid, I just needed to pick it up and I waited for 20 minutes before I was acknowledged. I was waiting in the designated pick up line for prepaid orders as well but once an employee finished with one customer they just walked away. It would have been faster had I taken a number and been with the handful of people waiting to pick out their goods.
I will say, my order (once the employee found it.) was perfect and looks incredible but for the hassle and lack of customer service, organization, and hospitality I don't think I'll return.

Would’ve been fine if the box wasn’t taped shut which cause the cake to shift when opening and ruined the cake and writing,
