Definitely enjoyed this class and everything I learned from Bernard! I was given the opportunity to act in a couple films and even a Rihanna Super Bowl ad for GoPuff! Go check it out on GoPuff’s instagram (I’m the girl in the black dress with shades on). I truly appreciate this experience with Bernard and have learned so much. He emphasized the importance of mindfulness and having a creative focus; join the class and you’ll find out all about that. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Bernard has truly been a transformative influence in my life! During my lowest point, his guidance, mindfulness practices, daily life insights, and innovative acting techniques provided me with life-changing support. His commitment to evolving his teaching methods, rather than relying on old routines, is commendable. Bernard equipped me with the necessary skills and acting techniques to get me on paid sets. As I pursue full-time studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC, the lessons I learned from him continue to shape my craft. He helps you bring out your authentic self – a cornerstone of exceptional acting. Joining the Philadelphia Acting Studio has been a decision I'll forever cherish. His influence on my journey is immeasurable, and I'm happy to have Bernard as a part of it. Without doubt, I encourage aspiring actors and industry professionals to collaborate with Bernard; his mentorship will for sure help shape you into the finest version of yourself!

This has been a very therapeutic experience, helping me change my perspective on how to approach not only acting but life in general. I also am very appreciative for the experiences this class has led me to, getting me my first lead role in a upcoming local film on a streaming platform. Very thankful for all the inspiring people i have met because of this class

The Philadelphia Acting Studio is great. The classes are so beneficial and not only tremendously improve your acting skills, but also improves other valuable life skills as well (business, mindset, public speaking, confidence). Bernard is very helpful and knows how to run the program correctly.

Bernard is the best! Within two months I already had a paying gig and gained experience in a commercial set. Stuff moves fast if you apply yourself and his teachings. Definitely recommend!

Taking classes at The Philadelphia Acting Studio was the best decision I could have made for my career. I wasn’t expecting overnight results, but I had short-term and long-term goals, and I wanted to make sure that I was able to craft a realistic game plan to achieve each of those goals. That’s where Bernard Glincosky came in. He knew exactly what I needed to do and how to approach each situation as it came. I unlearned so much, only to relearn it again in a much clearer and more positive perspective. Each class is crafted to break down important points, such as analyzing/memorizing a script, the audition process, and accessing emotions in a healthy way.

Speaking of health, Bernard is a fantastic energy to work with, and his encouragement of good mental and emotional health through meditation and affirmation is a breath of fresh air, considering how the business and the work itself can be very straining on oneself. He knows the business, and he also promotes a sense of unity/family with the class, as we are all in this together and have the same goals in mind. I never felt alienated, nor did I ever feel like I didn’t belong. Even though COVID restricted my experience to Zoom-only sessions, I still felt like I could succeed, and that I truly belonged in the community that I was a part of.

If you are looking for an acting school that will both enhance your ability of acting and bolster your will to succeed, I highly recommended The Philadelphia Acting Studio. It did so much for me in such a short amount of time, and I am incredibly grateful for that.

Bernard instantly clicked for me as someone I wanted to work with. He takes a spiritual and real approach to acting and the business of acting. Immediately I was given insight of how to approach a character and what it means to connect to a story. I would recommend him to any beginning actor or actress!

I love this experience! This course is a clearly well-thought out curriculum with practical value from a person that walks the walk. This is not a cookie cutter class. You will be challenged and inspired to be better. All you have to do is focus and apply it.

I had looked all over the Philadelphia region for great acting classes. Often, I found myself racing up to New York to try and get the type of training needed to advance in the acting business. Then, I found Bernard and the Philadelphia Acting Studio. Bernard has not only been in the business for years as an actor, but has coached hundreds of successful entertainment professionals. He knows LA & NYC, and gives you the dose of reality that all actors need. Yes, you work heavily on technique and skills in class, but you also learn the business. And the best thing about PAS? Bernard truly cares about your development. Whether it is an upcoming audition, questions about Union membership, agent interviews, etc. Bernard is always there to help you prepare and facilitate your next steps as an actor. It is called "show business" after all.at the Philadelphia Acting Studio you learn "the show" and "the business. "

What an awesome experience taking this class. With Bernard's beginner course being my 1st time taking any type of acting class, I had no idea what to expect. I can't really put into words how awesome this class is, so I'm stuck. I learned so much from this class that it is insane. Bernard is such an awesome teacher. I will take everything that I learned from this class into my life. Making sure that I keep up my own, personal, MOMENTUM, ALWAYS. Bernard - You are the man. Thanks for everything.

I was drawn into the world of acting by a desire to understand how exactly it works.
We all love to see a great performance by an actor, and it is always difficult to get through watching a bad performance.
What is happening?
I finally found the opportunity to explore this question at The Philadelphia Acting Studio.

First, I learned that it is not as easy as it looks!
Under the expert guidance of Bernard Glincosky, I was able to learn acting techniques and how to put them into my working of a character and script.
From the very first class, I was able to experience what acting is and what an actor does.
Actors from our class had the opportunity to perform in a SAG/AFTRA film. I played a businessman struggling in a Zombie Apocolypse.
Coming up, I will be performing as The King Of France in a production of Shakespeare’s KING LEAR, July 2019, in Philadelphia’s Clark Park.
I was confident walking into the audition because I had moved beyond self doubt and apprehension by working with Bernard and other actors in class.
If you wish to explore acting or if you are already an actor and want to sharpen your skills with great teachers and other actors, I highly recommend that you check out
The Philadelphia Acting Studio.
Five Stars!

Bernard is an amazing acting teacher and mentor! I started back in Fall 2014 and since then he has shown me the ropes on how to stay confident as an actress and later, I became a mentor to help other amazing talent while on set as an actress, executive producer, and director!

Bernard puts in 120% to make sure you feel comfortable, respected, and inspired in his classes. I always felt encouraged and completely okay being myself.

I've also never felt more connected to a class before and accredit that to Bernard's teaching style.

As someone who has experienced extreme anxiety over the years, joining an acting class seemed petrifying. But once you take the leap and try it, you will be very pleasantly surprised at how at ease you feel!

Classes are jam packed with advice, tidbits, and new ways of thinking. You're constantly learning.

There are also fun bonus opportunities such as learning about behind-the-scenes camera work and even getting a professional starter headshot for casting/auditions.

Bernard's crew and guest speakers are incredibly skilled, yet also very down to earth, super nice, and make you feel right at home.

If you're looking for a fresh start and/or a way to explore more of your potential in a non-judgmental and safe environment, this is the place.

Thanks to all of Bernard's instruction and mentorship, I have new found clarity for my future, with knowledge and confidence on how to make it happen.

Bernard's class is truly an eye-opening experience.

I was a student at The Philadelphia Acting Studio from February 2017 to April 2018. Bernard Glincosky is the founder and lead instructor of the studio and I consider him to be one of my mentors. I was referred to the studio by a local photographer who happens to be a fellow friend of Bernard. During my studies at the studio I learned the art of acting, and the level of commitment and dedication it requires. As a result of my time under Bernard I have been cast as an extra for major motion pictures such as Creed II and 17 Bridges. Most recently I have been cast as a supporting role and my first ever speaking role on season 2 of the web series, “Trap The Series” which is scheduled to be released on August 2019. Once filming and production is complete I will be relocating to Los Angeles. I give nothing but gratitude to Bernard and, without a doubt, highly recommend anyone who is interested in acting, public speaking, interviewing, or just simply wants a boost in confidence to attend The Philadelphia Acting Studio.
