I lived here for two years. The first year they had a building manager who was fantastic and took care of the little things. After she left, they never hired a new person to handle the day to day things. It was awful living here during the pandemic. Overpriced for a small one bedroom. They never took care of the exterior, the interior carpet was disgusting and stained. They made this outdoor square with lighting and these ramps that were literally inviting people to loiter and party around in. The walls are extremely thin so you hear all of your neighbors moving around. You can hear everything they do upstairs. The type of tenants they started to attract really turned us off. Neighbors were leaving their trashbags in the hall way for days. We had two instances of leaks caused by the upstairs neighbor that completely ruined our ceiling and then we had to have large loud fans in our living area for days.
The last straw for me was the crime in the area. I never felt safe walking around here. Don't be blinded by the modern looking apartments, its a terrible neighborhood to be in.

Great location, in walking distance to Kelly Drive and MLK Drive if you like to run/bike ride. The apartment complex is great with top-notch appliances such as the electric stove which is the best I’ve ever used. The amenities are great however the pool closes at 7: 30pm which is very early and definitely should be changed. Also the pool chairs could use some cushions and more maintenance staff would be great to help with keeping up the tidiness and cleanliness of the courtyard and the pool area bathrooms. Overall I would recommend… Lastly, personally I never hear my neighbors, the walls are fine.

I lived there for two years and really liked it there. However, when I moved out, I was charged a $100 carpet cleaning fee which in the beginning I was told does not apply since they change the bedroom carpets after each tenant. I’ve emailed them multiple times after I received the final Invoice and was completely ignored and never responded to.

We moved in from The Hub, the sister property to The Pointe also operated by Westrum Property Mgt. We had a bit of a bumpy start @ The Hub, however, over time things improved dramatically leading us to move to a larger space at The Pointe when our lease was up!

For amenities, building fit and finish you really cannot beat The Pointe. We toured other properties and were honestly shocked what was out there for the same price point.

The building is quiet and clean, well secured and grounds well lit. I really appreciate the assigned parking and that we are not directly on the street.

Amy and Zoe in the leasing office were very accommodating during the whole process.

Just moved in and the staff have had great communication and very friendly. Apartment is modern and well built. I love the amenities. The safety feels top notch with good access control and lots of cameras outside. I have rented at this price point before and this seems better so far.

The Pointe is a great place to stay. I have multiple colleagues that live in this newly built apartment building. The Pointe offers a variety of amenities and its in close proximity to a lot of eateries, groceries store, and night life dining. If you are looking for a one-bedroom with great office staff look no further stop by and lease at The Pointe.

There’s a lot I could say about this place and how they’ve FAILED to communicate with their tenants about COVID related updates. The spec of care we received was an obnoxious CDC poster to remind us of common use “safety precautions”.

If you move here and think you’re going to be able to use the pool that YOU pay for; think again! It’s great advertisement for touring, but other than that it’s nothing but physiological eye torture for those of us who chose to unfortunately reside in one of these over-priced cubbies.

Take my word for it, you can find MUCH better out there for MUCH CHEAPER.

Scheduled an appointment to see a unit today at 5 PM and went to all doors (both doors at the hub, the point and the lofts) try to get ahold of leasing WHILE THEY WERE OPEN. NO ONE RESPONDED. NO ONE OPENED THE DOOR. NO ONE CALLED. I EVEN CALLED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND IT WENT STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME!

I've lived at The Pointe for the past 1.5 years and adore this complex! The amenities and common spaces are modern and clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! As a bonus, there are monthly events open to residents of all buildings that are fun and engaging!

I've been a resident at the Pointe for over a year now and recently renewed. I LOVE it here. The location is perfect, staff is the best and extremely helpful, and the amenities are awesome. I'm super excited for the park and pool to open up this summer across the street at the Hub!

FORMER tenant at "The Flats" - DO NOT RENT HERE. Westrum has nothing but problems and a revolving door of terrible management personnel. I moved out over 30 days ago and haven't received a penny of my deposit back yet. When I followed up, a Westrum VP finally sent an itemized list of deductions and is trying to short me at LEAST $250. All of these units (The Flats, The Hub, The Pointe) are terrible, cheap apartments at a "luxury" price point and Westrum just doesn't care to do anything except screw people over. Honestly, Westrum is worse than the awful slumlord I rented from in South Philly. At least he returned my deposit in full and on time!

UPDATE: In response to Westrum's response (which I can't seem to respond directly to) - You have my contact information and I left my forwarding address. Your lukewarm reply suggesting you'll do something to resolve this situation is just par for the course. I am happy to discuss my deposit whenever you feel like doing your job and reaching out to me.
