The Pretzel Hut reviews
19Was a nice roadside surprise. Busy and the menu was larger then expected. Wait for the order wasn’t bad and the food was good. Certainly, will stop again.
Dont let the name fool you, they have everything from pretzels to burgers, sandwiches, chicken and ice cream. Friendly staff, quick turnaround from time order is placed. Obviously a local favorite
I'd heard about this place having a good reputation and it's well deserved. They have a wide variety of foods on the menu including a bison burger. I went for the bacon cheese ranch pretzel and it did not disappoint. It has to be eaten with a knife and fork. The pretzel is made fresh and is so soft it melts like butter under the knife. Highly recommended
The broasted chicken was pretty good, could be a bit crisper. The petting zone was great lots of animals. Not sure about all the birds in the cage, but they seemed alright.
Animals are great. Food great. Really cute place. Hidden gem. Just make sure your kids don’t hurt or abuse the animals!
First visit was packed! All the tables were filled but service was great. The petting zoo had goats, pigs, bunnies, and birds of different kinds. Kids can run around freely and climb on things outside. Brush the animals and pet them.
I love Pretzel hut. What's better than good and a bit of entertainment for the kids. Come get some delicious food and then visit the petting zoo after some ice cream. Prefect place for families yo dine out at and get se energy out of the kids. I just wish I was able to get better pictures.
I just want to say that everyone is entitled to their opinions but to state on a review page that the place is depressing and animals are not cared for is inappropriate without all the facts. There are volunteers that help out in the petting zoo area and I happen to be one of them. Can someone be back there 24/7? Obviously not. The owners are busy running the restaurant with no down time! I think they do an amazing job running the restaurant and caring for the animals! Unhappy, depressed, don't come back.
Got a cheese burger fries pulled pork sandwhich. Ice cream was excellent soft serve. Food was extremely good. They have animals out back at no charge to visit.
Petting zoo is depressing, kitchen staff ignored us when we tried to order food and then took the order of people who came in after us. They definitely discriminate against people with tattoos.
Cute little place, any food ive had here and the ice cream, has always been great. They have a small animal petting zoo out back as well.
This is a great place! The petting zoo is fun, and they have a nice variety of food on their menu. It is typically busy, and it can be tricky pulling in & out of the parking lot. I recommend bringing cash to pay since they add on a 3.9 percent credit card surcharge (which is noted on a sign on the register).
The food was good, hot, and tasty. I had the broast chicken and fries, and my young companion had the fattest corn dog ever. Our milkshakes were decent; I would have liked a bit of strawberry flavor in mine, but still a good shake.
The entrance is a hot mess; it's very narrow and hard to get through each door if you have another person, absolutely not handicap accessible. And once inside, it gets crowded fast.
The petting zoo was depressing. The animals are overfed, overweight, and not interested in human interaction. We spent a couple bucks on food and none of the animals wanted to eat it, so we went to the Funny Farm Petting zoo instead and they were happy to see us.
The Pretzel Hut is great! They have a gigantic menu and everything is very reasonably priced. Great fried foods! Awesome ice cream and shakes! They have a petting zoo behind the restaurant. The baby goats and piglets are adorable. Make sure to buy a couple bags of feed at the sales counter. The goats are very hungry! You probably won't get cell service here but it's a great enough time to make you forget about your phone. Bring the family! 5 stars!
Excellent, fair priced ice cream for large families with a bonus petting zoo? ! What? ! Yes. 8 people, 4 milkshakes, 4 ice creams. Less than 25$. Plus you get to go see and pet goats, chickens, roosters, bunnies, and chicks, for free as a patron. They have small bags of food you can feed the animals and they ask for a dollar donation for them which is fair as well. We loved it, and if I had more time before we got hit with incredible rain and wind, we would have stayed and spent more time with the goats and bunnies for sure. Lovely small establishment that I plan on checking the food out when I go again next time.
Cute small ma and pa place outside of Lititz. Good food but could have better air conditioning inside! Animals are well taken care of! Great place for kids under 8
Disappointed they advertised a certain type of soft ice cream which they said they would the entire week and then didn't have it.
Poor service, missing items from our order, to clarify we were there Friday afternoon at 11: 40. All food came out and was missing husband cheeseburger, waited ten more minutes for his burger. Ordered kids meal but didn't come in kids bag with toy like everyone else
Food is usually great. Service could be better. I’ve called multiple times and have been left on hold/forgotten for 30 minutes- an hour. They’ve forgotten to call my number as well, order will just be sitting behind the counter for 10-15 minutes after it’s done. Inside and out is sometimes covered in flies but understandable because of the petting zoo/area they are in.
