The Residences at Seven Gables, Carlisle PA

Lived hear for about a year since covid I have not been pleased at all. A whole bunch of amenities you cannot use, leasing office is quite difficult to get in touch with. So what do they do as a thanks for paying your rent on time in a year when many people have had trouble doing so? Offer a minor reimbursement for not having all the services available, nope they raise your rent. You can’t even get the same answer from two different staff members. I gave 2 stars because the places are nice, maintenance guys are great, and neighbors are mostly nice. But also avoid a unit above a garage, I actually recommend 3rd floor as it often sounds like a wwe match is going on above me from a small dog running around.

I would recommend living at The Residences at Seven Gables. It's in a very convenient part of Carlisle, with a grocery store (Giant) next door and tons of little shops and restaurants down the street in quaint Carlisle borough. I lived on the third floor with my husband, a two bedroom 'Ashley' layout, it was a good layout, I never heard neighbors except one time the apartment below me had a loud St. Patricks day party but they were quiet by 10pm. There are dogs allowed in the apartments but I never heard one bark. (I was in the Veterans Way building, I cant speak for others.) The pool is very nice, I believe it's salt water and always clean. There aren't a ton of kids there at least that I saw and the pool was always quiet with a few adults at a time. Same with the gym, nice clean facility, never too crowded. The people that lived there with us were friendly, I felt safe walking around at night, and the people who work there were very friendly and very accommodating. We only moved out because we wanted to own our own home. Highly recommend.

They have nice apartments, but the management is not great. They are complaining about the dog barking, when the dog was asleep next to a baby. The baby would have woken up if the dog was barking. They are making the dog wear a shock collar to stop the nonexistent barking. Meanwhile, they do nothing about the who are very rowdy every 3 nights.

Six months in and the apartment is still great. I don't have any negatives to say about the Residences at Seven Gables. Whenever my girlfriend and I tell people where we live, the most common response from people around here is "Oh, those really nice apartments in Carlisle. " I'm happy that we found this place. Easy to work with, safe, clean, and I enjoy having a gym, pool and clubhouse a 45 sec walk from my front door.

Only rental place in Carlisle that has a pet policy. As a Veteran Marine with PTSD I adopted an English Bulldog and there pet policy allowed me to stay here. On New Year's Day 2014 she past over the rainbow. I again adopted an American Bulldog this time. Guess what I'm still here.
The staff are great and he gets a treat when visiting the office.
I recommend all pet owners consider renting and living here with there forever pet.

I loved living at the Residences at Seven Gables! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The living quarters were quiet, well kept, and clean. Parking and local shopping, dining, and services were all very close and convenient, and all-hours access to the gym was very handy. The living experience here was not only painless, but very enjoyable. I'd recommend the Residences to anyone staying in Carlisle.

Quick service maintenance crew. Regular updates on safety such as smoke alarms, air filters, etc. Roomy apts. Balcony. Secure buildings. Gym. Pool.

Our experience has been nothing but positive here at The Residence at Seven Gables. We love the staff, who are always attentive, friendly and professional. The amenities are great, the apartment is modern and spacious. We love the location, walking distance to plenty of area attractions, from the local grocery market, restaurants, churches and shops. We highly recommend this for place for your home!

I've had so many positive experiences here. The staff is really friendly and professional and also prompt and effective in their communication. Maintenance is quick to respond to the few very minor issues I've had. My experiences with my neighbors have also all been positive. Everyone is friendly but there is also privacy and quiet and I really enjoy all the amenities. I had lived here for two years, moved out for a year to try to save money BUT found myself quickly missing the communication, customer service, living environment and community that Seven Gables offers. I am back and grateful. Well worth the small extra cost for all the benefits.
