The Retreat at State College reviews
9 I've experienced the Retreat as a visitor and a resident. I visited every weekend while I lived downtown and I wish I moved here sooner. This is where I spent most of my time; all my memories of college are tied here one way or another. This is also where I watched my puppy grow over the last two years. The Retreat was the best decision I made during my college career and I know I will miss it once I leave.
The amenities are fantastic. The pool is clean and open during warmer months and the hot tub is open year round. The gyms are 24/7 and the front desk will lend you anything you need. Security is very approachable with the added bonus of having plenty of experience.
Overall, my time here has been great and I have no regrets or complaints! It's safe, it's friendly, and it is definitely a living community worth taking a look at!
They do not even make resident use their club house place. Most of other people do not live in Retreat, but residents cannot even use their club house, because of other non-residents people.
This place will lie and steal your money, give you false stories about where the money is. No one in the office takes responsibility or cares to help. I’m owed over $1,200 from the retreat and they show no urgency or remorse for me. It’s been over a month of back and forth and still no solution. The apartments are great but the back end staff aren’t when it comes to due diligence and respect for other peoples money.
I love living at the retreat. Its a very cozy and lively community. There are lots of nice neighbors and the staff is attentive. When the add says”upgrade, live better”, it isn’t lying.
I lived at the Retreat for over 2 years. It is a great place for students to live at. They have a lot of amenities and a great community.
Best place you could ever live at in state college, nothing better than waking up to the retreat.live here live well am i right
I enjoy living at The Retreat. The staff is lovely, always kind and helpful. I really enjoy the gym facilities and sauna, it’s literally heaven for an athlete.
Definitely the best place to live at in State College. The amenities are great and the houses are spacious for the price you pay! The staff also makes this place worth it. They go out of their way to make your experience here memorable.
