The Salvation Army Family Store, Erie PA

What can I say it's a second hand store or resale store but it'd be pretty nice things there and today is Black Friday so it was 50% off everything in the store it was great I found holiday clothes and I found a cervical collar for my neck now I wish I had a bought both of them that I seen and the cashiers are always friendly

I found absolutely nothing to buy,
A waste of my time, such a pity!
It should be considered a crime to waste ones precious time!

All the good stuff that the salvation army, receives from donations,
Is transported to the store on upper Peach Street across from Lowe's!
The downtown salvation army store is a worthless piece of junk!
Don't bother to waste your time!

Me and my daughter stopped since it had been awhile since we were last here. I like looking at the purses, it's the first thing u see when you come in. I thought they were priced ridicously high! I was seeing alot, that didn't even look brand new & wasn't name brand either, marked for $9.99 & up! They had a few racks at the front of the store that were strictly Harley Davidson/motorcycle clothing. I found a few men's shirts that I knew my husband would love & they wanted $14.99 for 1 and the other was $19.99! Needless to say, they went back on the rack. I know Harley Davidson gear is expensive, but if you're getting it used and free, that's ridiculous to charge that much! This location on Sassafras is much smaller than the other locations, so they don't have as much stuff.

Awesome service. Although it was raining, the young lady didn't hesitate to come and retrieve the boxes from my car.

Soo much random stuff to choose from! I always stop here when I'm in Erie. I stopped in here like 6 months to a year ago and I bought a pair of NIKE AIR FORCE ONES size 10 in almost mint condition for $10.00! I couldn't believe it! All they needed was wiped down with a warm wet washcloth and a new pair of shoelaces. I still have them in the closet. I don't even wear them. My girlfriend Alicia bought a REALLY nice purse today and I even seen a pair of Michael Kors jeans that were basically brand new for cheap but they weren't in either of our sizes so they stayed there but we did get 10 DVDS for $10! I love thrift shopping.

I don't know who does the pricing but it's really overpriced I seen several items in there you could buy brand new for the price that they're selling them for and they already used even the clothing is overpriced

It's a great store. A little less organized but you can find some real gems if you take the time.

My experience was pleasant. There was a variety of items. The staff were prompt with advice and solved what questions I had.

At checkout was treated incredibly rudely by cashier as items from intended purchase suddenly became unavailable. Before an explanation could even be given that I too had been their prior to attempt purchase. After being treated so rudely I left without my entire purchase and will never be returning. How someone can maintain employment with the public and have that attitude is beyond me. If ANY of my employees acted as such they would of been immediately terminated.

Can get picked over especially on Saturday. Some prices are absurdly high. For example a used coat can cost as much as 50 dollars when you can get a similar brand new one at Walmart for 30 bucks. It makes no sense. You can find some good deals if you do some digging and the money goes to a good cause.

Employees/cashiers rude.store smells.they really need to freshen up this location.it's disgusting.won't go back to this one again.
