7The Salvation Army is an amazing organization that utilizes it funds to genuinely help people in need. This location has compassionate volunteers that really care and go out of their way for everyone in need. There is never discrimination or bias which is important to all. If you have hit bottom emotionally, spiritually, or financially, please contact this organization for help.
I can highly recommend if anyone is in need to sign up for groceries they do help out a lot I pick up groceries for someone who recently retired and they give you more than what you need very helpful
Why doesn't the Salvation Army in Scranton Pa have a facility for women? The place I'm at now is throwing me out because I have a Service Dog. I stayed at the Salvation Army in Las Vegas recently and they accepted her with papers from my psychiatrist. I have Traumatic Brain Injury so her job is to keep me calm which she does. But this other company wants a letter stating that she was trained to be service dog. I have a letter from my psychiatrist stating that ther job is to keep me stress free which she does. Does anyone know if there are shelters for women that have a dog that provides a service with just a letter from a yschiatrist?
People there are very nice and they don't mind helping people who needs the help great place to go if you ever n need
The Salvation Army continues to be the place that keeps giving. They continue to offer the only true answer for all problems, Christ Jesus. The Salvation Army is the BEST institution to donate to. They will not squander a dime and will always be there when people need them.
