The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center reviews
6Was in there today with my friends 3 year old daughter in my shopping cart. She stood up in her seat and was helping me go through the rack. I had my foot on the cart so it couldn’t move and both hands on the child so she wouldn’t lose her balance and fall. The older red-haired female employee yelled at me for her standing and told me, “If she falls it’s not on us. ” This was after she told me I NEEDED to move out of her way because she needed to get past me to hang something up. I understand wanting to do your job, but there are two ways to get in to an aisle. Some aisles there are only big enough for a single cart to go through one way. This happened to be one of the aisles we were in. I ended up scooting the cart INTO the clothes rack so she could squeeze by us. She then took the shirt she was hanging up to the end up the rack and hang it up. So it didn’t even make sense for her to come past us. Go down either of the empty aisles that were on either side of us. It was a very strange and uncomfortable situation. I felt very awkward and wanted to get out of there. I ended up buying a dress priced at $30 I wouldn’t have gotten if I wasn’t rushing to get away from the rude experience. Definitely won’t be going back.
Employee stocking the racks today was super rude. She told my daughter (who is 3) that if she falls out of the cart it was her own fault and not on them. There is a lot nicer of a way of talking to a 3 year old. My daughter was helping my friend go through the rack and she was being held onto. The employees in the front were nice. They are selling a bunch of fake Michael kors purses in there at the front that are over priced. I used to like this place but, it’s okay was not a good experience
Their prices are going up too high on some things. Make sure you look before you buy there may be peices missing that are essential to the operation of the device you get. You can't return it then if it's missing said item.
The founder of McDonald's gave this organization over $1 billion dollars and yet they continue to beg for money. STOP, STOP, STOP GIVING MONEY TO THEM.
The old woman with red hair was so rude and disrespectful to me. I was told I was not aloud to look through a rack because it was hers. Lol I will never shop at this location again. She should be fired.
