The Standard Market & Pint House, Pittsburgh PA

On a night that is 12 degrees out, this restaurant didn’t have heat. It was freezing and if we hadn’t asked why it was so cold inside, no one would have mentioned it. We ate with winter coats and hats on. Drink and food orders were wrong throughout the evening. Ordered the steak sandwich. It was dry and lacked flavor. There are too many good restaurants downtown to settle for this one.

Maxx had one of the best ameratto sours ive ever had and had to have a second one so it was a great bartender and drinks! Would definitely come back just for that drink or service

I came here with friends the service staff was incredibly rude. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese I was told they were out of bacon. I waited 20 minutes only to be offered a cold bacon egg and cheese. Do not recommend.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful portions! The Staff were so friendly and very accommodating!

Really liked this spot. Autumn was awesome. Really liked her. The Chili was off the chain. Recommended for sure.
The service was very hospitable. The food portions were very good as well.

Staff is exceptionally friendly.food very good.atmosphere great.they were so welcoming to our family where’s we weren’t allowed At the restaurant across the street cause they don’t allow kids anymore.definitely check them out if u want some friendly service and good food

Noisy, cold draft blew in every time door was opened, un-attentive hostess looking at phone when we entered, out of coleslaw (how does this happen when it is a side to all sandwiches-poor planning seems to be common reading other reviews) - no offer of substitute, were told possibly out of salmon thankfully were not, the fries in loaded fries were not crisp.id say they were mushy

First time here but if I am ever in the area then I wouldn’t mind coming back. Basically, for the food. If the special that they had that day was that good, I can imagine that a lot of the menu as well as specials are just as flavorful and filling. The staff were good but there were a few that outshine the rest and continued to thoroughly assist when needed. Now this place is spacious and welcoming, looks slightly fancy and is in downtown Pittsburgh so you can expect that parking on most days might not be easy. They have a full bar and a small menu with different options as well as specials. I opted for the special for that day and their shrimp po boy did not disappoint my taste bud. Seriously, huge chunks of fried shrimp on bread served with coleslaw and homemade potato chips. The menu is slightly pricier than your standard bar and restaurant, but I think for the quantity and taste, it evens out.

We went in a few days ago after our trip to the holiday market and heard great reviews for everything that this place was. Honestly this is not a place I would recommend, service sucked, our server was rude and absent it felt like. Honestly feels like this place needs someone to come in and show how service should be done because it doesn't seem like this place truely cares about it, there are several better restaurants in this strip choose any other one but here.

I wish i could rate this place without rating a star the service is below par went there a couple weeks ago and the servers were cut short and felt like they didn't want to be there. Food was below par as well the food tasted burnt, and at that point we just wanted to leave not worth the time

Look. I was wanting to come in and enjoy this establishment; because someone recommended this place to me. I had my hopes up and sadly the service wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not be returning.

Had a long day and stopped in during my travels and the staff was rude and the service sucked.

Just ok. Food wasn't great, not a lot of selections. Server was very nice but didn't come by often enough.

Had a great Happy Hour party with my team. Service and drinks were fantastic. Love the beer wall!
