Fun cocktails, good appetizers, and fun environment. My favorite spot on Mount Washington. Seating is limited and the lighting is pretty dark.

Cocktails are wonderful, food is AMAZING. Try the gnocchi! Staff are lovely and vibes are great. 10/10 would go again

I have not had something from here that wasn’t delicious - drinks and food! Love the ambience (especially at night when dimly lit). Gets packed easily on weekends.

I use to like coming here cuz of the vibes, games, food & drinks. Until i noticed how the servers and bartenders weren’t too warm… especially the middle aged woman who’s probably been working there for some time. She came to my table with fake conversation just to say “you didn’t tip last time”, when indeed we did, just not HER, because she didn’t serve us. I know I’m just one customer out of thousands, but i just wanted to share… maybe not a good place for our people. Unless your mixed in with other “kinds” of people if you catch my drift lol. I’ve lived in mount Washington for 2 years & we are always on shiloh st. So we love the other bars, never get that vibe from them. But i guess they want a certain crowd. And to that older bartender woman, remember BE KIND, ALWAYS! Never know who the person your serving is … BLESSED BE

We stopped here before a show. Nice little place. The drinks were great and they offer a small selection of food. Service was wonderful.

We lived within walking distance of the Summit for over 5 years and went pretty regularly - always a top notch experience. Truly the best & most inventive cocktails I’ve had in the city. Their Old Fashioned would make Don Draper proud. They also have seasonal cocktails that change often and are all created by the bartenders - you can tell they have fun with it. They have a pretty great happy hour if you get there early enough, but I also love the loungey, dim vibes later in the evening. Great music & ambiance.

Food menu is small but also delicious. Can’t go wrong with this hidden gem.

I came here a few years ago and had such a great meal. I don't know when I'll be in Pittsburgh again but I'll make sure to go back.

Everything we ate and drank was onnnn poiiiint. We each had a taco and the table split an order of mussels and the empanadas. The mussel broth is worthy of dunking the bread in. We had a variety of cocktails and tasted each other's drinks. Each one was a bullseye. Perfect service, attentive without being pushy or excessively engaging.

The food and service are exceptional, a little pricey, and the space is a little dark and loud and can be crazy on the weekends. If you're going for dinner during the week I highly recommend!

This is a sweet spot, not particularly big but cozy and on a nice day the open room feels great. It was a warm but rainy day when I was there, kinda felt like being in Florida a little with the way the room is open.

Won my game of Sorry! And had some delicious thoughtful cocktails. Didn't try any of the main food but that's because we'd been hopping around the city all day and I was stuffed. We did snack on some fries which were great. I think cut in house, the rosemary/garlic aoili that came with them was really solid.

The Summit is an absolutely amazing experience. The service was incredible, our waitress was knowledgeable and super friendly. Most likely when you are reading the menu you will be overwhelmed by all the different alcohols and flavors, don't worry you can ask and someone will explain it all! The combinations they come up with are simply incredible. Easily some of the best tasting drinks I've had in my life. The inside is well decorated, clean, and they had the windows open which brought in a nice warm breeze. If you are ever in Mt. Washington make sure you stop by here! We did not have any food so I can't speak to the taste, but just the smell of their food was starting to make me hungry even after I had already eaten dinner.

My friend and I were excited to try the drinks. When we came inside, we were not greeted (totally understandable since a lot of places are understaffed) and I had to find someone to ask about seating. When I spoke to this older lady with short brunette hair, she was very rude. I asked about seating since the place was full but she simply dismissed me with a condescending tone. She did not attempted to tell us about how long the wait would be or see if she could find a table for us. We didn’t feel welcomed at all and left because of the unpleasant experience with her. Really disappointed because I had heard great reviews but if this is how the staff treats customers, I would never come back to try again.

Great spot with good eats and a nice staff. We go here quite often, and have for some time, the menu is always great, food is very good and consistent.

Best spot in Mt. Washington. Best spot for craft cocktails in Pittsburgh. Amazing and well-rounded draft selection. Food is delish. Absolutely wonderful staff.

Friendly staff, chill ambiance, amazing menu. If you're from outta town I highly recommend stopping by this bar, and then go sight seeing.

The Summit is our all time favorite spot in Pittsburgh. Amazing cocktails, great menu, the atmosphere though, that’s the magic. And Mo is the best waitress you will ever have in your life. She’s wonderful.

PS, please bring back the brown butter/truffle popcorn. I promise the salty goodness will make us drink even more.

Just went for a quick cocktail but staff was very friendly and helpful selecting drinks. We really all enjoyed the cocktails and wish we had time for food, next time we definitely will eat.

I really liked my visit to The Summit! The food and drinks were all good, however I would say that I feel like they’re trying too hard to make their drinks seem edgy and cool. Maybe that’s just me not loving herbal drink flavors or maybe I just don’t get it, but it feels like they try to add random ingredients in for the sake of making it unique or higher class. Again, I really enjoyed myself but something about it felt a little forced. Love the hot cider for fall!

This is my favorite bar in the world. The cocktails are consistently the best I’ve had! The staff is also friendly and attentive, and the ambiance makes it the perfect spot for a date night or relaxed evening with friends.

Well curated beer list and nice cocktails. Small menu of mostly appetizers. Did not order food, but everything looked very good.
