The Summit at Rittenhouse is a top notch gym. The facility is beautiful, clean, and spacious. I’ve been working out with Nick for the last year and he’s great! I’m a busy professional and it’s great to have the one on one training that caters to your specific needs. I highly recommend the gym and Nick!

I have been working with Shawn at The Summit at Rittenhouse for the past few months and it has been a fantastic experience. I highly recommend The Summit as the trainers are well versed in all their expertise, they are friendly and the facilities are top notch.

In prep for my wedding in June, I decided to pursue personal training. From my research, the main thing that attracted me to The Summit at Rittenhouse was the expertise/education of all the trainers. When visiting the studio, I was really impressed by the quality of the various machines and the overall cleanliness.

I started training with Paige in February and I can't recommend her enough to others. I had no prior weight training experience, but she did a fantastic job explaining everything and making me feel comfortable. I looked forward to my weekly sessions with her because I knew I would always get a solid full-body workout. Paige is also very personable/easy to talk with which made my sessions even more enjoyable. I definitely saw positive physical changes and my monthly InBody tests confirmed those improvements. Thanks again to Summit, especially Paige, for an all-around amazing experience!

The Summit is great. Right in the heart of Rittenhouse Square (easy to get to), this gym feels like your personal workout space. Everyone is so friendly and they have some really top notch equipment - multiple squat racks, huge selection of free weights, a treadmill that can do sled pulls, etc. - and the locker rooms are equipped with great amenities - three waterfall showers, fresh towels, a dyson hairdryer, etc. I also really like that you are assigned one trainer and that’s your person for whatever amount of time you train at The Summit (not to mention it’s month to month, so you can choose how many workouts you want based on what your schedule looks like). I’ve been working with Liz now for about 6 months and she is fantastic. Liz is knowledgeable, friendly, and adaptable - switching out workouts based on what else I have going on that week. She is also really good at knowing when I should probably go up in weight (even if I’m not convinced) and distracting me while doing squats (or the like). While 30 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot of time, I feel well exercised after a session as Liz puts an emphasis on doing it right and being intentional about form - less reps, better outcomes. The first workout is a longer session as you get an initial assessment and chat about what your goals are, your communication style, etc, but you get put to work really quickly after that. So far I’ve seen great outcomes - putting on muscle and increasing overall strength and fitness (to be clear I am not talking about bulking) and I’ve noticed an overall change in my fitness when I play soccer or engage in other physical activities. Important note: I’ve been traveling a good portion of the summer so these positive outcomes are with 2 week breaks stuck into the middle of my workout routine. All in all - good atmosphere, good music, good workout. I genuinely look forward to my workouts here.

I have been training with Mike for over a year and I am really happy with the experience and how strong I got. The gym is very clean and well-equipped with fancy stuff! Mike is extremely professional and knowledgeable and I cannot recommend him and this place enough.

I can’t say enough good things about the Summit (at Rittenhouse) from the cleanliness to the friendliness of the facility. It’s everything you could want in a gym and then some. If you’re looking for more intimacy in your fitness life, this is the place for you! Everyone there is so wonderful but especially my trainer Liz! I‘m excited to continue this journey with such an awesome team. ️

The gym is in a great location, it's well kept, and feels very clean. The locker room area is nicely decorated and comfortable. I work with Paige and she is amazing. I feel like I've learned a lot and get stronger every day. Definitely recommend.

Nick rocks. Made so much progress in not that long of a time- I couldn't really do a push up when I first started training, but now I am well on my way to doing several. I usually hate waking up early for things, but working with Nick (and the Summit!) made it something to look forward to. Thank you all!

My experience at The Summit has been exceptional! Not only has Liz been instrumental to helping me feel stronger and healthier, she is a wonderful person and our conversations during our sessions leave me happier and less stressed. She has helped me tremendously in finding the right workouts and exercises that can be adapted to our virtual training sessions. She is constantly helping me adjust my form to prevent injury and get the most from my workouts. I highly recommend The Summit and especially, Liz!

I absolutely LOVE The Summit! I was debating between several places in Philly, and I am so happy I landed here. My trainer, Liz, really supports me throughout the week and helps me keep on track towards a healthier lifestyle. I have lost about 10lbs since I started, and I could not be more thankful. In addition to strength, I have gained a lot of confidence, and I actually look forward to my sessions! Really thankful to have the support of the whole team

Highest of recommendations! Training at The summit exceeded my expectations in every way. My trainer, Mike O, was extremely professional and patient which was helpful for a beginner like myself. Not only did he correct all of my lifting form/posture but he also made sure to explain the exact mechanisms underlying everything we did at the gym. These explanations ranged from the specific muscle groups targeted by each motion to the overall goals of muscle hypertrophy and growth. He was knowledgeable about everything related to the gym, able to describe the exact hormonal/chemical reactions in the body as well as recommend the best diet/sleep routines to help accelerate my progress. I came into the gym with the goal of building mass and within less than 3 months I gained over 15 pounds of muscle. Moreover, the gym itself was a great place to exercise. It was always spotless and its atmosphere extremely friendly. Overall, my experience at The Summit was a very helpful and fulfilling one. I not only reached my initial goal of building mass but I also gained a level of confidence in the gym that will allow me to continue with my fitness journey independently.

I couldn't say better things about my experience at Summit. My trainer, Mike, takes the time to really learn what is important to me and my fitness goals. He created a tailored plan and we meet weekly, continually building on this plan. Mike is professional, patient, and explains things in depth.which for a novice (like me!) makes weightlifting and fitness seem easy & seamless. The studio is spotlessly clean, the equipment top notch, and the staff extremely friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Summit at Rittenhouse for personal training, they are fantastic!

I was there for less than 6 months but I achieved and learned so much! My PT was Mike and he is amazing and very knowledgeable. He really catered to what I wanted and is also so kind and not intimidating. I did once a week 30 minutes sessions.

I have had a great experience working with Rachel in the past couple of months. She always meets me where I am, pushing me as far as I can go, and excellently tailors my workouts to all my desired goals. I could not be more happy and satisfied with the progress I have made since starting.

Rachel and The Summit are awesome! Before training here, I wasn't really ever sure if I was doing the right types of exercise for what I wanted to accomplish and would give up because I either wasn't seeing results or would injure myself. Exercise was generally frustrating and demotivating. I've trained with Rachel for a little over a month now and already notice a shift in how I think about exercise, how I feel when I workout, and my motivation to get to the gym often. Rachel took time to learn about my goals and lifestyle before I started training. She spends every minute of our training sessions teaching me how to exercise, correcting my form, shares methods that help me stay aware and focused on each movement, and motivates me to push harder. On top of all that, she's created a dynamic workout program for me to follow at home (in a mobile app that syncs to my Fitbit!) that helps me reinforce what I learn during training and is incredibly responsive outside of sessions whenever I have questions. The Summit studio itself is so nice, they're so thoughtful about scheduling so trainees never feel crowded, and the atmosphere is fun and motivating. Finally feeling equipped to reach my fitness goals and looking forward to continue training with Rachel.

Highest Recommendation! I started virtual training with Mike O.at Philly Personal Training (now The Summit at Rittenhouse) about 2 months ago. I was a little unsure going into it, given that I had very little gym experience to begin with and everything would be virtual. But Mike and the Summit team have exceeded every one of my expectations! (1) He has brought structure and accountability to my overall fitness routine. (2) He is extremely knowledgeable and has taught me the rationale behind every exercises and workout we do. (3) He has helped tailor my workouts to my diet and overall health (including navigating a couple of injuries). (4) They have bridged the technology gap with the seamless virtual training and iPhone app.for when I am training on my own (5) Every person I have talked to there has been a genuinely nice person, which is important. In just over two months, I have seen extremely positive results. I have lost weight, I am significantly stronger, and I have more energy/confidence. If you are on the fence about working with them, I highly encourage you give them a shot. I am confident you will have the same experience I have had and you will thank yourself.
