The Upper Darby Inkwell Tattoo and Body Piercing, Drexel Hill PA

Came in today with my sister and we left with great tattoos! Our artist was Chris and he did an amazing job. I would definitely come back for more ink.

When getting a tattoo, the biggest decision you'll make is picking the tattoo artist. After all, it's something that you'll wear on your skin until the day you die. After my latest tattoo I can say with supreme confidence that Chris at Inkwell- Upper Darby does IMPECCABLE work! All of my previous tattoos were pretty small, and this was my first tattoo of any significant size. I really wanted to pick the right artist, and I chose Chris.look at the pics to see why. He did amazing work, and it was very affordable! He really pays attention to detail to make sure that his work is something he can be proud of. I guarantee that if you go to Chris, you will not be disappointed.he also worked with me and did the outline first because I didnt have all the money when I first went to him. One of my biggest concerns was that he is young, which made me wonder if I should pick a tattoo artist that was a little older and more experienced. Now that the tattoo is done, you would think he had 30+ years of experience. His work is really good and I'm going back to him for every tattoo I get after this. If I could give him 10 stars, I would be under-rating him.you wont be disappointed getting your next tattoo from him!

Had Brad do my industrial piercing today. I am beyond satisfied and so excited to finally have that elusive bar in my ear. He was smooth, quick, super cool, great to chat with and super enthusiastic. Price was better than other places I know, and I know I got even better service. I’ll definitely be back to get another piercing!

Not only awesome work on my tattoo, we received great customer service. I felt very comfortable getting my tattoo done on my upper rib cage, and plan on returning to get an old tattoo fixed.

First time visit, Bad experience will never visit again received a simple Roman numeral tattoo my kindergartener could have tattooed better and was overcharged. Never let Trinity tattoo you there.

I had my rook pierced with a weird curved barbell. For the life of me, I couldn't remove it to switch out the jewelry. I walked in and the piercer was able to help me right away. It took a bit of pulling with pliers to figure out that there was a pin on one end that slid out. They replaced the jewelry for me and weren't even going to charge me anything (left a small tip because I was just happy to FINALLY have the ring I had wanted, and they were very helpful). I'd definitely go back to get pierced - they seemed very knowledgeable.

Got a tattoo done two weeks ago by Paulanne. It is all healed and beautiful. Entire staff was friendly and they all made my first experience a great one. She even let my boyfriend hold my hand lol.

Went here to get my first tattoo and it was the right choice. They were super helpful with the entire process and told me everything I needed to know about what they were doing and what to do after. It was a great experience and I'll definitely come back again

Got a great tattoo from a pretty cool guy. Went in last night just to get a quote and walked out with a great tattoo I've wanted for while! LoadsMonster was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. My tattoo shows he does great work! Everyone was friendly and helpful and I'll definitely be getting tattooed here again!

2 of us went here for tattoos, 1 is great and the other looks like someone drew it on with a Sharpe after a cup of espresso. The woman has amazing work posted on their website but was very disappointing in real-time. When asked to clean up the wobble she tried but made it worse.
Supposedly we got a break on the price (which all was taken care of before) - you get what you pay for? Would of paid her more, tipped more, for better work. THE OTHER TATTOO IS AMAZING and getting lots of attention! So just don't have the older woman touch you. Very nice people, but be warned.
Would definitely recommend the young, quiet man, sorry can't remember your name.

My artist Chris was nice and they got me in as a walk in with very short wait time! Definitely will be going back

I am reviewing a tattoo I received from Paulanne. I will try and give details without anger or hate although it's gonna be hard. In April 2018 I went to the shop to have a biblical tattoo of virgin Mary on my arm, I expressed to Paulanne how important and close to my heart this tattoo was and if she feels like she couldn't do it I will move on. Paulanne quoted me 450 dollars for this tattoo which looked absolutely terrible once done. I took her 75 minutes from start to finish.

I was so upset and despite my disappointment I tried to remember that just the fact that it was “virgin mary” I was blessed and honoured to be able to carry her on my arms. I was able to get it fixed by a different artist.

I truly feel like there are other artists at inkwell who are amazing at their job and I am not condemning everyone but I TRULY HOPE AND PRAY THAT PAULANN GIVE UP TATTOOING OR understand when to say NO that’s beyond my skill level instead of wrecking people’s hope and dream.

Until recently I went to another artist who took 5 hours to correct the mess Paulanne made. I am strongly advising anyone to avoid Paulanne at all cost. Paulanne is incapable of being honest. She is great as customer service as a used car salesman but NOT A TATTOO ARTIST. PAULANNE HAS clearly showed how she is incapable of being decent or even understand how she can wreck people’s skin. All she sees is the money sign.

I truly recommend that if she wishes to stay in the tattoo business maybe she can enhance her skills by participating in various classroom or external training programs that TEACHES YOU HOW TO BE DECENT AND TRUSTWORTHY AND TATTOO.

Knowledge staff. Clean work area. Great work. Enjoyed getting my work done there. Will go back again.

Got this done yesterday here. Couldn't be happier it came out way better than I thought it would. Not gonna lie this is the biggest piece I have and the first in color so that really hurt. But u gotta admit it looks amazing. Shout to my man lou for hooking me up with this sick ass tattoo. Stop by here and show them some luv u won't be disappointed

My first experience here was classic! Intern Chris was as cool as it comes! He sketched up the exact design I was looking for (with few photos and ideas I had), but he nailed it! I was in and out in a very short time and the price was reasonable. I will definitely return for my next piece!

Paul Ann is amazing! My second tattoo and she did an awesome job, again! Place is very clean. All the employees are kind and friendly. Very helpful. Will never go anywhere else!

My son and I came into today. Both of us got tattooed. It was my son Kyle's first tattoo. Loads took Great care of him. Jay did my tattoo. It came out Great. Paulann was Amazing setting us up with our Tattoo Artists. Will definitely be back soon. You all Rock. Thanks again
