All of the employees that I’ve met here are so friendly and super helpful! It’s so refreshing to see that there are still helpful/friendly people that care about their work. Thanks y’all!

2/8/23- Terrible customer service from the woman with blue/green hair - I took my son for a passport photo- she rudely denied taking the photo- stated legally they cannot take photos of minors, this not true, after speaking to the post office who assured me, they accept any 2x2 passport taken at any facility that takes these photos. This woman was one the rudest people - she should not be working with people and maybe learn what she is actually doing. See Rules below - the UPS store may need to speak to all employees about the rules- Post office also backed these statements.

Ways To Get a Passport Photo for a Minor
Depending on your preferences, you can choose one of the following ways to get a passport picture of a minor:

Visiting a professional to get a physical passport photo—Feel free to take your child to any photo studio in your vicinity. Professional photographers know how to make a proper 2 x 2’’ or 4 x 6’’ picture, so you don’t need to wonder whether your photo will meet the requirements
Taking passport pictures in stores or facilities that offer such a service—The photos can be taken at:
Retail locations, such as Target or Walmart
Courier facilities, including *****UPS, USPS, and FedEx****
Pharmacies—CVS or Walgreens

So glad I found this UPS store I was returning a couple of items from Amazon and the young lady Christina was so extremely helpful and polite she handled everything! All I had to do was open my Amazon app and she did the rest. Plus I was wondering what the cost would be to ship something overnight and we had to guess size, weight and hight but she was able to give me an idea of what it would be. Again Christina was extremely helpful and polite and very professional, I highly recommend this store

Dropped off an Amazon return which was handled efficiently. I also asked for the young woman behind the counter for a single sheet of paper to be printed, she was very accommodating and polite.

Poor interaction, I went to get a piece of paper notarized.the lady automatically said I can't sign this it has no place for me to sign. I then called the county, that provided me the paper asked if I had the right piece of paper for it to be notarized.they said that I did have the right paper, and all they had to do was stamp and sign at the bottom.the lady refused to be any help and she tried to say that I was trying to get her license to notarize taken away if she signed something like this and she got loud with me saying my realtor was wrong and should have never gotten me to go anywhere with a document like this. Practically yelling at me when I at no time every resized my voice.

I don’t go to the local ship it/pack it store because they won’t scan the package label and provide a receipt that the package was turned over to them. I understand that they are not ups. I’ve been to the Parkersburg UPS store numerous times, have never had any issues, and the staff is always friendly.

Beware when shipping overnight envelope!
I was in the Parkersburg store yesterday and was charged $83.90 to send the small UPS envelope with just a check inside. The clerk at the counter didn't even weighed it. She said it was pre-selected for 1 lbs 8.2 oz. Funny how its the threshold to charge 2 full lbs. Also, she didn't input that it was an envelope, but rather the small UPS box (13x11x1). When I got home I looked at my receipt more carefully to find out it wasn't right. I called the manager at the store and she said there is nothing they can do, that it was all "pre-selected". I called the general UPS number and ask to talk to a manager, and they said to me it was not true. The envelope should have been weigh, and the standard small UPS envelope option should have been selected. Even the UPS online tool allow you to select your envelope types, and weigh. The envelope I sent with a weight of 0.5 lbs (even though its nowhere near half a pond) would have been $35 cheaper if I would of done it myself.
Just saying, be aware that the Parkersburg UPS Store is running a shady business.

Response to UPS Store Mgr.: First let me just correct the record, I did not have a "Tantrum" I hung up because the manager consistently talked over me and did not let me talk or finish my story. I realized that my complaint was only going from one ear and out the other instantly. She would not listen, and repeated "There is nothing that can be done, it's all pre-selected". Second this manager is also lying, not even once she suggested I bring my receipt in the store for review. She was instead more concern about shutting me up by talking over me.
It's simple, I will never go there again. This review is simply to warn other customers to review their costs in detail if using overnight shipment for legal document.

Store no longer accepts Return To Sender packages. The clerk states it's a result of them being held liable for returned packages. This sounds like a problem between UPS and its franchise and as the customer this shouldn't be my problem. I instead have to drive 15 miles to West Chester to do a return to sender. Not cool.

Edit: I think they worked out whatever policy issue with UPS since then and they now take returns no questions asked.

I went to the UPS store in Parkesburg today before noon and was surprised that neither employee was wearing a mask. They did not have hand sanitizer available and were not wiping down counters.
I was wearing a mask as were 2 other customers who came in.
I only went there because I wanted my package to be double boxed and sent. I won’t go there again. Karen Brendle

The staff at this location is phenomenal. They are very attentive to your needs. Had just used them for the 1st time, had graduation announcements, banner and yard sign designed and made by them. They will have me as a return customer.

Ordered on amazon, they sent the wrong item. Returns made easy drop off at THE UPS STORE. Let them scan the code I was sent. Done. I love this!
