The UPS Store, State College PA

I brought 3 packages with QR codes on 07/17/2023 at 11: 28 AM, and this African American lady who is the only one rude staff in the store always having an attitude helped me with those packages.

I mean I don't care about the attitude as long as they are doing their job right, but the thing is, when I ship multiple packages without label on them the UPS staffs are always scanning the QR codes and put the labels on them one by one so they don't put wrong label on the packages, but this lady, just scanned every QR codes at once and labled it very carelessly so I was worried if she mix it up and she actually did.

Today I received the package from someone I don't know and when I opened it there was the product in the package that I shipped on 07/17/2023 at 11: 28AM through this UPS store and it says it is delivered to the wrong vendor and they might charge me the price of the product becuase of this staff put wrong label on the packages.

I feel very frustrating that this staff is not even capable of such a simple task not only being rude always, causing me loss of time and money and effort. I've been using UPS more than 10 years and this is the first time ever the staff did such ridiculous mistake.

This was by FAR the best UPS experience I have ever had and it’s 100% because of the staff at this location. I had just moved to the area and was in need of documents notarized & mailed within 24hr of arriving. The entire staff seemed to care about my needs and genuinely wanted to help me through the process…and we did it (FAST and stress-free)!

I was in the store on Monday 6/26 doing some Amazon returns (as always:) the young man behind the counter, Isaiah, was amazing as always and got me on my way quickly. As I was about to leave I dropped my glasses and got my purse stuck in my hair (do not ask) I was so embarrassed and helpless until Isaiah jumped right in to help me. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. Thank you, Isaiah, for your kindness and helpful actions. This is a huge reflection on the entire staff at this UPS Store…. Management is great and all the staff are courteous and patient. Thank You! Thank You!

Friendly helpful service. Notary, copy, binding, posters. My go to shipping and notary location. The owner is always pleasant and knowledgeable.

We trust the UPS store on Hamilton Ave to take care of all our items we ship out from our office. Big thanks to the team for their great service and they always do it with a smile on their face.

Do NOT print here. I tried to get a poster printed here for a conference and it was a terrible experience. First, they printed the wrong PDF (I sent two by accident and they saw both but printed the first one). Then, they took 3 days to correct their mistake and print the correct PDF. They also claimed not to have a poster tube in my poster’s size (standard 36x48), so they charged me for a large cardboard box instead. The final price was almost $100, and no compensation was offered for the stress caused by printing at the last minute before my presentation. Finally, when I tried to get another PDF document printed, they were unable to get any of their printers to process the file, so I gave up and left.

Been going to this UPS for a while. Staff are friendly and generally helpful. I had an issue with getting a package delivered overnight, in which it seemed the staff missed checking for the symbols on the box (it had a hazmat symbol, I didn't realize either) though nothing hazardous was inside. Caused a delay in some important materials getting shipped out to collaborators that we were supposed to visit in the coming week. The package got sent back, but Allen was able to help sort it out and get it shipped overnight the next day, covering the cost of shipping it again. Really appreciated their service though things went a little awry. Will be there again in the near future.

Hamilton Street UPS is my first choice for any copying, notarizing or packages to be sent. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and efficient - extremely professional. Highly recommend this UPS store for all your parcel and copying needs!

I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly. I went to the W. Hamilton location this morning, 6/16/23, and the young man working went into a RAGE with anger and talked to me in such a condescending tone and was filled with a lot of anger. He actually threw the tape dispenser about 15 feet across the room because he was so angry that I used the tape. I had NO idea that you weren't allowed to use their tape that was sitting on the counter within customer reach (on the edge of the counter in front of the scale). I am not a regular in that store. I apologized for using the tape and stated that if I had known I wouldn't have touched it. I actually only said one sentence because I was so scared by his tone and how he threw the tape dispenser. If that would have hit me (or anyone else) I would have been knocked out. Wow. Honestly, he seems like a ticking time bomb. Beware.

The UPS team on Hamilton is the best! My print was not ready when I showed up, but Alan was so generous and took some time out of his busy schedule to print it for me on the spot! They really helped me when I was in a time crunch!

This is best store! Super getting home across country. Allen and Deneke were super helpful through this process and made it seamless!

This is such a great local store. All of the employees are always so friendly and helpful, even for complicated print jobs.

Allen is awesome! He was able to notarize an I-9 for me while the other UPS location led me on a wild goose chase. Would highly recommend going to this location over any other!

The manager Allen is the best! I walked here and the package I was picking up was huge and he offered to give me a ride back to my apartment so I didn’t have to call an Uber. Would recommend this store 100%!

This is BY FAR THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE items to send. They are friendly, help with packaging and will guide you in the best way to send items. They make the process so easy that i won’t go to any other place. Their staff ROCKS!

Allen is incredibly efficient, helpful and friendly, and this store has been an amazing resource, especially with the onset of Covid-19. I recommend this UPS store highly! Update: After 5 years of having a PO Box at this store, I've now moved from State College, and I can only hope that the UPS store in my new location is as good as this one! Thanks for everything, Allen and crew!

The manager, Allen, did more than just help me out with shipping a package, he waited for over 45 minutes with me to make sure everything was taken care of properly, all of the staff is freindly and will do everything in their power to help you with any problem you have, never thought I would say I had an awesome experience at a UPS store!
