The View at Montgomery, Philadelphia PA

Ceia is amazing! She helped us with our initial phone call, toured the beautiful building AND is always available to answer any questions. The building itself is beautiful. The apartment selection is great, lots of options for many budgets. All utilities included? WIFI? YES! YES! On-site gym? YES! Security? YES! Private parking? YES! So glad we were able to find this apartment building. OH! And it's literally a stones through from the student center! I wish I had this place for MY first apartment!

Loved all the help to sign a lease and have the ability to be with my roommates! It was so easy & helpful.i also loved getting to watch all the insta lives to help my decision

We went on a tour of The View and Vantage with Tom. Tom was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the tour and the different layouts that they both have.

Make sure you take pictures/videos before and after moving out. They will try to get as much money out of you as they can by charging you with moving out charges that are completely wrong. I have video proof of how i left the apartment in great and clean condition and they are claiming over $250 worth of charges. I've tried disputing the charges for over 2 1/2 months now. I have sent Zach several emails and called the office many times as well and still no response. Because of this, I haven't gotten my security deposit back and it seems like they have no plans on giving it back or even responding to me at all.

Also, I had a roommate (who was randomly assigned) who let her boyfriend live with us and the both of them smoked weed at all hours of the night. When I talked to office staff about this they seem annoyed that I brought it up, and barely did anything to help with the issue.

On a positive note, the location is great and the maintenance staff are super nice and respond quickly.

I had a great experience with Kai Cooper! She answered all the questions i had in a very professional and friendly manner, and was very welcoming! She seems to really care about the job, and it shows. Great experience overall, thank you Kai!

I like this place so far. Most of systems are easy to understand and convenient. Also, this plale has the best view to see the city from every windows. In contrast, we have been troubling with stove some time because it gets too hot and all of our alarm sensors in the room turn on so easily so we have to be extra carful every time.
However, other than that, i'm happy staying here rather than anywhere else i guess. I put 4 stars because I'm still new here and i don't know if I have any trouble and how well they can help me out.
Anyway, Caitlin who worked at the view and helped me to get everything done to live here was super kind and easy to talk to. I'm glad that I have someone who can easily talk to and ask any questions and concern when i need.

Updated 10/29: I gave this 1 star review because of the issues that I faced in this building; including, but not limited to lack of hot water, noise nuisances, and general cleaning practices to list a few. I'm sure you can also infer the other issues that this building faced/faces from other reviews as well.

Very nice building and helpful staff, especially a young lady named Caitlin. She is extremely well-spoken and was able to answer all of my questions. Kudos to the View for hiring great students to represent their building!

I was helped by Kai all throughout my move-out process, she was very professional and direct with her responses to my questions.she made the process super simple and made sure that i knew everything i needed to know- she even followed up with me just be sure that i was good.kai has a very positive attitude and a determined work ethic- i would HIGHLY recommend being helped by kai at the view at montgomery.

Staff is very unprofessional and lack knowledge on basic questions. They will also try to charge you $$$ for mistakes they make as if the rent isn’t already $1,000+. Horrible- safe yourself the trouble and DO NOT live here

Pet unfriendly. Expensive _ not worthy price. Bad security (they recruit in some irresponsible front desk guardians work. They allow everyone except some obvious homeless people in. And they build a new apts which eliminated the big green field grass and make the city view not cool anymore. I mean. It’s a good outlook apts.but after living here for 2 years. I would like to say. It sucks:/

Worst living experience I have had in my life. Showers are never the proper temperature and the heat and air conditioning system almost never work. Put on top of that we were placed with a roommate who happened to be mentally insane. The only reason The View assigned this roommate to us is because he lived in the same town as another roommate. This roommate constantly stalks us and eavesdrop on our conversations. We have two peer mediations with The View and it has helped in no way whatsoever. They will not accommodate you if you have any problems. Please do not live here.

Rude management, overpriced, and unreasonably unaccommodating for simple requests. Elevators will also be on a rotation of crashing, so high floor residents be prepared to walk up the stairs unless if you are willing to wait 15 minutes to get into your own apartment) don't live here, such a waste of money

I've lived here for three years now and I have always been very satisfied with the conditions of the building and the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Not very accurate on roommate matching. I had a roommate who are completely the opposite of my references and normal timetable. Hope it can be improved. Overal, it's a great living community.

Really love everything about The View! Responsive staff, had an issue with my mail key and they fixed it in a day. Having your own room is great as well, especially with the city view. Really great start to freshman year!

Great living space overall. Sometimes the elevators crash which is annoying but it is overall a wonderful place with a great community attached to it

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. Its clean, equipped with household utilities, has lots of room, is right on campus, and maintenance fixes problems right away. The View is worth your money!
