The Washington at Chatham, Pittsburgh PA

Lived at Washington at Chatham for a little over an year before I moved out of the state. Loved and enjoyed my stay there, apartments are great, very modern and new with an amazing view. Leasing office and staff were very friendly and never had any issues. Work orders were always resolved within a few hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The tenants in here are horrible especially william at apartment 729 hes under investigation with multiple delivery service apps he gives large tips then he takes them back 20 minutes after he receives his order. He reports items missing to justify him bait tipping he doesn't realize everyone takes pictures of all the items placed at his door. Theres multiple other tenants that made threats towards a few women. Avoid at all cost

All of the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful, and the apartments look beautiful and well maintained. I highly encourage everyone to choose the Washington at Chatham.

Lovely neighbours, beautiful building. Unfortunately if you’re black, or any other minority, this is the worst place possible to stay in Pittsburgh. “You people” was said in multiple inappropriate conversations related to simple things, like a cable issue. I was living happily there in my apartment with my neighbours so I wouldn’t call this a disgruntled review (as that happens), I would call it a warning. If you’re looking somewhere else, I’d recommend getting serious about those places.

I really want to highlight everyone that works there and works to make people’s life a little easier. Ken and Heather were always available to everything I needed. The apartments are beautiful, great views, amazing location and in general very cozy. I would definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a great place to move to.

I just moved from across the country and everyone on-site has been extremely helpful with the process! Heather is S T E L L A R & maintenance is quick to make a fix!
I probably have the most amazing view of the city and everyone, including the security staff who I’ve come to be friends with (shout out to Miss T & Greg) has been extremely kind and welcoming to my GSD, Scarlett.
Also, who can say no to a whirlpool tub?
The rent isn’t cheap but the experience so far has been lovely.
Every high end feature you can imagine I have in my studio.
I’m an avid gym goer and while I probably won’t use the on-site gym much due to equipment restrictions, there’s still ample space for a good cardio session!
Also, I can’t wait for the doggie wash station to be up and running!
I don’t have to travel for my coffee fix as there’s a Starbucks right downstairs!
Looking forward to many beautiful nighttime skyline views!

Beautiful apartments and Ken was so kind and informative! I can't wait to call this place home later this Fall.

First of all I was the one of the first tenant who has leased here for an year. When I came here I didn't get the amenities which they promised they will have but they were charging for that and I was also paying understanding the facts that the covid situation is there. I asked for a extra lock which is not installed even after 9months. I hear a lot of noise top of my head due to their some work going on from where I get headache too.its really really heavy they also knows abt that and still they didn't fixed the issue. I understood all their lacking as its a new apartment and covid situation they are unable to do. But when it's came to lease renewal time I asked for 12days extra to made my dicision as my employer will let me abt my contract on that time. But surprisingly Maria is saying it's not possible if I made late dicision then my lease will go in to month to month lease for those 10days. Hahaha. Dude we were paying for the amenitiesh you guys promised was not there and considered the situation.and now you can't even consider 10days to made my dicision? I understand it's same for everyone then you guys should understand too that we have considered a lot when we didn't have to do.only giving 2 stars becoz of Ken n Heather's sweet gesture and behavior.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! I cannot stress this enough! Management seems nice and make all sorts of false promises to get you to sign a lease but do not follow through on everything. Extremely unprofessional and just down right rude.

Nothing is finish like they have promised. Everything is cheaply installed. But they charge you for everything. The one thing they sorta have is a joke of a gym, no weights though, and half the machines are sitting there with tools just waiting to be put together.they also have a ton of air fresheners in there so if u like to get high off of cheap car fresheners then this half finished workout room is for you!
But no seriously save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your home.

Such a shame because the location is great and what this apartment complex COULD have been - would have been great. However, management lies about dead lines and fails to accommodate their residents.it’s not so much the situation but how management handles things-unprofessional& rude. There are better places in the area that are complete, do yourself a favor and move somewhere else!

Management is so fake and never follows thru on the promises they made. Also they’re super rude! Don’t bother trying to live here — save yourself and look for an apartment somewhere else!
