The Westin Philadelphia

The room was massive and convent the bed was super comfortable and also massive and the room service was top tier. Highly recommend

I booked this hotel last minute. It is in the heart of downtown Philadelphia- all within walking distance to City Hall, Chinatown, and Macy's. I felt safe staying here and given the proximity to downtown, it was super quiet. The only downside is parking. You will have to pay $55 dollars a day for parking. We only stayed one day but know that it can get pricey!
Definitely consider staying here.

This hotel is a hidden gem. I travel across North America on a constant basis and have experienced several other top rated hotels in Philadelphia. Kevin and Ariana greeted me at the front desk with warmth. They were very welcoming, down to earth, and very professional. When I got to my room it was the relaxing breath of fresh air I needed. The room was so clean and polished. The bed was so comfortable that I understood why they branded it “heavenly. It was quiet (no listening to someone’s conversation in the next room, creaking footsteps above, or traffic blaring by). I wish there were more hotels like this everywhere I travel. I highly recommend!

My only disappointment was the lack of services inside the hotel itself, such as snacks, beverages to take to go. Otherwise, great place to stay!

Here’s a gem of advice: before any hotel booking, look at HoteIDuIIy.cᴏm It’s a game changer. The newly renovated Westin is great! I’ve stayed here many times before the renovation (which was desperately needed) and always had good experiences but there were definitely better options in the city to stay.
With all of that said, now that this has been renovated I think I’ll probably be staying here much more often. Added perk that they have a parking garage directly below the hotel.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel. Less than 24 hours before my scheduled stay, they abruptly canceled my reservation without any prior notice or explanation. This left me in a difficult situation, scrambling to find alternative accommodation on short notice.

The lack of communication and consideration for their guests was truly unacceptable. I understand that circumstances can sometimes lead to reservation cancellations, but a lack of communication and the absence of any effort to assist with finding an alternative solution left me frustrated and inconvenienced.

I would strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution when booking with this hotel, as their customer service and reliability have left much to be desired in my experience.

Pillows smelled like B. O.housekeeping VERY noisy in the morning. If you're one who likes to sleep late. Forget it!

This was my first time visiting this hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind and very helpful.

This is our second stay with this hotel. I travel with my partner for their business and sleep in while they attend their meetings. Both stays, housekeeping knocked and then opened up the room around 9: 30am despite the do not disturb sign placed on the door. They always say hotel told them we checked out. I get they have to work quickly but regardless of who makes the mistake it ruined my day both times because I have sleep concerns. Not entirely convinced that management cares, it's def a forgiveness not permission scenario.

Update: third stay, valet was not there when I pulled in I waited 5 minutes and then I ran inside quickly to pee because it was unclear what to do with the car. The valet chased after me insisted on taking my keys/screaming at me and then moved my car to the street where he left it unlocked with keys on the seat. I explained I am pregnant and he was not there for at least 5 mins when I pulled in and he was very nasty. This is not the first issue we have had with valet at this hotel, there are often issues with the proper tickets to let you in and out of the garage if they make you park your own car etc. After this we will not be staying at this hotel. Thank goodness my car wasn't stolen. Also supervisor must approve vip status for ac FAN to run, even without AC (which doesn't work at any nice hotel anymore). Supervisor is of course unavailable.

Service is otherwise good but hotel does not empower the client facing staff to do things that should reasonably be available.

I just love this hotel. Not only they are pet friendly (my little shiba girl had a very nice time here) but its the best location, right around the center of the city.

Welcomed me warmly and answered any questions I had with knowledgeable awareness of the surrounding area. I’ve stayed before and will be back. Quick breakfast service for yogurt and berries when I said I was short of time. Much appreciate

Hotel was awesome. Staff was great. Only had one issue at check in one staff member seems like she was mad at the world, but everyone else greeted you with a smile. Enjoyed the place very much. Close to everything, great food.

Heads up everyone. There's no sauna anymore. It's the reason I booked this hotel and on their website it's still listed as well as on all social media. Big disappointment.
