The Wheel House Cafe, Shippensburg PA

Stopped here for breakfast prior to a college visit in the area. Service was fast and friendly and food was delicious. I had a simple fried egg with bacon and crispy home fries. My daughter had blueberry pancakes. They were thick and fluffy.and filling. I recommend this place for breakfast if you are in the area.

Food was great.fast service.coffee refilled on a timely manner and that is the number thing for me keep my coffee hot and fresh.

Great little cafe! It was packed when we stopped in but were immediately seated, greeted, handed menus and our drink order taken. Our drinks were quickly delivered. Once we were ready to order, the order was placed correctly and delivered quickly. Our waitress checked up on us frequently. The food was very good and the portions were large. We had the Eye Opener and the Country Mix. I would say the eggs seemed a bit overdone and didn't seem like it was 2 eggs (they could have been "small" sized eggs as I'm used to cooking with "large" sized eggs). The hashbrowns were shredded, which are my favorite, but didn't seem done well enough. I noticed a child behind me had hashbrown patties, but those were never offered as an option to my daughter, so I ended up eating her shredded as she doesn't like them that way. Overall, we were both happy with our meals and service and will definitely come back again to try something else!

Great place for classic american cooked breakfast. Stopped by with my son, I had the western omelet and my son had the blueberry pancakes, both were excellent. Service was top notch with friendly and prompt staffing.

Just had a coffee and water, but the food looked delicious! ~ My head was on a swivel. Excellent service!

Very nice n quiet place for bfast. Waitress is very friendly n enjoyable. The food is very reasonable n good. Recommend!

We work a graveyard shift and wanted to get some breakfast after work. We haven't been to wheelhouse in a bit (another diner is closer to our home) so we decided to stop in. Our waitress was very friendly and we could see she really knew her regulars very well. She knew what they regularly ordered and how they liked their food. If we could financially afford to eat out more we would switch diners and eat here.

Since they changed hands it is much better. Food was awesome and plentiful. Very good service by a waitress who obviously enjoyed her job. I recommend this place

Wheelhouse is a great place for breakfast. There are not too many places around here that are not fast food and you can get a decent breakfast. Food is always good and hot. Staff is friendly. Since it is not downtown, it gets missed by a lot of people but it's definitely worth going. Highly recommended.

Very good diner food. I absolutely loved the pancakes! I got chocolate chip. The hash browns were also delicious. It's a tiny and busy place, with quick and friendly service. Very reasonably priced. We'll be back!
