The Whole Darn Thing Sub Shop reviews
18 For starters in another review someone states "the mean tattooed girl K-Von D wannabe". Well she was actually delightful and polite. I watched her perform with diligence and kindness. So that makes me no sense to me. Everyone working was kind and provided excellent service. On to the food.
I'm not sure I'll ever be able to make a sandwhich at home again. That was absolutely delicious! The bread was soft and perfectly seasoned (we had the herb bread), the cold cuts were sliced thin and proportionate, the veggies were fresh and the condiments complimented the whole thing! 10/10 our compliments to the owner (s) and employees. We most definitely WILL become regulars.
Always amazing quality and service, I hate how they set up their tipping option and turn the screen towards you every time.
Simply awesome subs, more than you can eat in one sitting! Pricing more than fair and fast friendly service,
The Whole Darn Thing Sub Shop is by far the BEST sub restaurant in the area. They have the largest variety and their the freshest. Even if you receive the unfriendly tattoo chic who works their. The food is still #1.
(Sorry! Kat Von D wannabe. It's a sub shop not LA Ink.)
It was time for me to re-do my review. The prior 1-star review was under the prior owner who made the business into an absolute train wreck. Since the Hutchinsons purchased the business, the business it worthy of the name. The sandwiches are back to being what they used to be and the employees are fantastic. Remember that they also own the Whole Darn Thing in Edinboro and Hole in One Hoagies in Cambridge Springs.
They never put condiment to my sub until I went back to ask. The sub without condiment or their so-called special oil tastes as dry as you are chewing paper. I really do not understand why they did this to me more than once, and I never had any subway place that is like this.
Sub had good amount of meat. Best price in town for a sub. Choice of toppings and dressings. Offer salads and wraps and some sides too. Do have seating inside.
I've been going here since I was a small small child in elementary school and have continued to go there over the years with different owners as much as I miss the old ones the new ones are pretty good too and hands down best subs ever. I hope it's here for my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and children can visit as well
Best sub sandwiches around, period. Always fresh made-to-order, with the finest ingredients. Generous amounts of quality meats, and fresh toppings every time.
Nice atmosphere, and courteous staff. Very highly recommend.
Food was similar to subway. Purchased a Gyro and steak sub. Gyro had very little meat. Employee acted annoyed that I wasn't aware of what came on the sandwiches, and so I needed to ask questions. It was my first time there. I was not impressed by the food or the service. Do not think I would go back.
Excellent subs, salads. Handmade while-u-wait to your liking. Good prices. Clean. Eat-in, on the patio, take-out window, call ahead. Lobster roll a favorite.
Just went to this place. Visiting from out of town and I have to say, one staff lady in particular was very rude and almost "inconvenienced" by us being there. Because of this, I did not order anything. I will gladly talk to the owner about this if needed as well.
Ordered sub platter for take out and at the time of order was quoted 40$. Upon pick up the total cost was 77$. This is a huge discrepancy with price quoted. Feeling obligated to purchase pre-order the shop only offered 5$ off for "tray fee. ". Better training is needed so all employees can quote correct prices
Some of the best subs I have ever had. Plus all their subs can also be ordered as a salad. Never disappointed.
Best subs around! Great staff, if you get the chance don’t pass it up. Almost make sure you get their dressing on the sub. Its to die for
Have loved their subs since the original owners had it, many moons ago. Still awesome hoagies.
People are always friendly and the food has gotten much better over the years. The subs can be massive and WELL worth the money. It always makes me smile seeing it busy around meal time.
Said not toasted. Got toasted anyhow. Slow because nobody knows what they are making. Stood inline for 30 minutes. Would be best if you wrote down what way you wanted it made.
